You can tell that there is/was something there. Now why the 1? I had to go to the bathroom... and they didn't put up a closed sign (should've) or had a plumber fix the issue. What I saw in that bathroom will be forever imprinted in my mind. I won't get super graphic - I'll just say that it made port-o-potties look like a 5-star hotel in comparison. I will never, ever go back here. There's the saying about a kitchen cleanliness in comparison to the bathroom. These new owners are gonna tank this place fast if they can't find the rhythm. There were hardly any people inside when we walked in which was perfectly fine with us. The staff as always greeted us before we got seated. And the vibe was very relaxed throughout. After a few minutes of looking over the order, we were ready. Mine consisted of honey chicken wings (10) and a side of curly fries. I had the honey chicken tenders previously and enjoyed my selection. So why not go with the flavor again?! The food itself was good. Never have I ever had a bad dish here so that streak is perfect. The wings were crunchy as always and the honey flavor wasn't too sweet for my palate. The curly fries, as always, were the perfect side. The sauce was sweet, umami, and tangy and allowed the chicken to still be crispy underneath. Better than other restaurants like Bonchon. The lemon was really nice too. I love the scallions. They had a little bit of brightness to the dish. The lemon scallions were good mixed with the other flavors. The service was awesome. The lady, who I assume was the owner, was super nice to us along with the waiter. They gave us a lot of time to wait for a whole party to arrive and they gave us recommendations and made sure to advise us on the menu. We had one person in our party that had peanut allergies and she clarified that all the stuff they cook does have a little bit of peanut oil so if you are really allergic to peanuts, I would definitely avoid this place but apart from that you will definitely enjoy eating here. CM chicken is a franchise if you didn't know so if you like this spot and are not local to the area, I'm sure there might be a spot close by to you wherever you reside on the East Coast.
