I work fast food so i understand it can be busy but this is ridiculous for a customer that always comes to this chic fli A in particular. i only had 2 chic fli a sauces when i asked for at least 7-9, instead we got honey mustard, ranch and barely any Polynesian sauce. We got all of the sauces we barely wanted i think employees should double check there orders before especially when the order is over 50$ lol. This shit is ridiculous i wont be back! It breaks my heart to leave this review. I love Chick-fil-A and I love that this restaurant in particular is black owned. I have always traveled (without complaint because it was worth it) to the Grossmont Chick-Fil-A. So having one in my backyard was exciting... This store often has issues with slowing down and quality control. Often the nuts to my kale salad are missing or my sandwich came on regular bread. 2 days ago I had the opportunity to speak directly to the owner when I was complaining about the amount of kale salad. My container looked only 2/3rds full but Amber (owner) took the time to explain and show me how the look is deceptive based various factors and actually I had more kale than I was supposed to have. I was grateful that the owner had come out and taken time with her customers. When I went back to my car I realized they had forgotten my gluten free bun. I went in hoping to speak with Amber so I could share my concerns about quality control and get another bun. I wanted to spare the restaurant the negative review. But I decided to take my gluten free bun and go on with my day. As we pulled onto the onramp and I began making my sandwich (i saw tomatoes on the sandwich which I ordered no tomatoes.) We turned around and I went back into the restaurant to have my sandwich remade. I then asked to speak to Amber. However she was unavailable and so Monica, the executive manager, came and heard me out. She listened to my frustrations and then gave me a courtesy card and my new sandwich. I then got back into the car and we headed onto our destination. DejaVu. Opened my sandwich and there sat tomatoes. I went back. Monica met me at the door. She gave me another courtesy card and profusely apologized. They would work on the situation. Fast forward to today. I ordered a simple #1 with no pickles. I had them prepare my order although I was nearly 20 minutes away. This store can be a bit slower and I wanted to give them time. When we arrived we were on a mission (my daughter had a hair appointment and we adopted families who need their gifts...) My daughter goes in and gets her meal. We are on our way. She stops me and shows me... she got two chicken sandwiches, no fries. I am so frustrated. My time is slim. I go in and share with Jasmine. She tells me to give her the sandwiches back. I tell her no... "Just give me my fries. You messed this up... the least you can do is let me keep the sandwiches." She said she would not be able to let me keep the sandwiches but would give me a compliment sandwich card that has to be used by December 31st. (That would make 3 btw). I said fine. She then takes order from me and RESTARTS THE ORDER. No... I don't have time for that. My daughter is going to get her hair braided she needs her food and we need to go. Jasmine won't hear me. I ask for Monica. I am told Monica is unavailable. I wait what seems like 3-4 more minutes and decide to ask for a refund. Jasmine then tells me... so if you get a refund you will not get your courtesy sandwich!!!! WTH. First off... I hadn't even asked for it at that moment... I wasn't worried about that a sandwich. I was more concerned with getting my daughter to her appointment and her getting dinner. So to add that salt to the wound more than irritated me. I told her... I am going to write a review. She said fine. And so here I am. The saddest part is my daughter was upset because as I dropped her off she still hadn't eaten. I will figure this out but am I disappointed beyond words. Being heard is #1. Someone seeing that I paid for a service and ended up getting the very short end of the stick. I didn't want to write a review. But kudos have to be earned otherwise reviews just become watered down. I will update, possibly delete if I hear from Amber and/or Monica regarding the situation. read more

This Chikfila was alright. I think one needs to get used to the fact even on a slow day in the drive thru at any Chikfila you will still be waiting at least 15 minutes for your food. Also the drive thru splits into two lines but merges back into one when you pay. That's a pain as you never know if you will get merged in on and lose your spot. That's just how it is. I don't recommend the drive through. They will hand you your food while there is three to four cars still waiting for theirs. I also don't recommend getting a milkshake if this happens to you, especially if you're taking it home for someone else. I strongly suggest walking inside to order your food. Chick-Fil-A, May I make a suggestion? Don't hand the customer their milkshakes if there food is still going to take an additional 15-20 minutes to make. It's just obvious this restaurant is Franchise. This location is 3 blocks from home and I usually drive the 7-10 miles to the next one but come to this one when we are short in time. About 1/3 the time they mess up our orders. My profile tells you I don't take time reviewing but geez, it's so annoying. The guy standing on the lines that suppose to confirm your order and direct you in which car goes next, is literally standing up against the wall, not approaching the vehicles, we are figuring it out on our own, and the entire time his eyes were closed. So I get to the window, lady seemed rushed. they pass me the drink, with the car information STICKER placed on the LID (that's pretty nasty and unhygienic if you ask me) the cup was full of soda, that spilt and continued dripping as they passed it to me. I asked for napkins to wipe it down myself so it doesn't get my holder sticky. They passed the food, shoved it practically, she said "have a nice day" and boom, gone. I waited in the window, no acknowledgment, I yelled "excuse me!" She came and I told her we were forgetting our ice cream for the kids meals, she checks the system (having given me a kids meal/drink) as she serves the ice cream, I checked the bags to ensure our order is ready - the salad was open and some lettuce was out in the bag. By this time I was annoyed because of the service, they seemed annoyed so I didn't say anything. Again she hands the ice cream and says "have a nice day!" And boom she's gone again. No chance for nothing. Got home and yes, indeed, the dipping sauces for the chicken pieces were missing. The salad ? Well, it wasn't as full as usual and 1/2 the chicken as the chain restaurants. And also - the lettuce pieces were so long, not even cut properly and honestly, you can tell they didn't wash it. I can taste the dirtiness on it. My son had a $25 Chick-fil-A gift card with $12+ balance left on the card, it was declined in the drive through, they confiscated and threw away the card. On site manager refused to help after hearing that the card had been kept and thrown away... resorted to "It's our policy", the manager ultimately accused my wife of cussing at her yet when asked what word was used she could not identify it. Went to Chick-fil-A in Spring Valley this evening. Went thru the drive thru and the individual who took our order did not know they had Texas Pete hot sauce. I ordered an original chicken sandwich with no pickles and add pepper Jack cheese. When they gave us our food we asked for an additional Texas Pete and we got a weird look as of that worker also did not know about Texas Pete hot sauce. Got all the way home, opened the sandwich and to my surprise...American cheese (yuck!). It was a huge disappointment to have American cheese instead of pepper Jack cheese. I came to pick up a Mac n cheese for my dad as he ordered earlier in the day and got the wrong item. My dad coordinated with Gustavo for me to pick it up. I came in and Gabriella was working at the register. She verified with Gustavo and let me know Mac n cheese was out and would take 30minutes for the new batch. She offered a replacement but I told her I'd wait, and proceeded to make a separate order for myself, one of the new pimento sandwiches. She took it upon herself to offer it to me for free, even though I didn't ask. She was so accommodating and communicative about the situation and I felt like she genuinely was putting the customer first. I felt that she really cared about fixing the mistake, that my business here mattered and that she wanted to do the right thing. She had great character and integrity, excellent customer service and I saw her treating every other customer in the same manner, friendly, polite and respectful. Sad, unfortunate, but unsurprising the level of quality (food handling) and customer service for this Chick-Fil-A location. The majority of staff not only does the bare minimum; they simply to not pay attention to say the least nor do they take ownership and accountability when orders (9/10) end up wrong . All while simultaneously putting it on the customer as if it's their fault when it solely is due to their lack of attentiveness and service skills. Management/ownership needs to get a hold of the current staff and re-train, ask other locations to come in to do so/help OR do a sweep and bring people in who actually want to do more than work a few hours and collect a paycheck. The nice thing about this location is there is almost never a line. Though they still manage to take the same amount of time as locations with a line. Be prepared to wait ! As you pull up to the window you'll see it takes 3-5 people to get your order together. Oddly they forget to add something to my bag every time. Even after I coach them through my order. One time I finally called the location and shared they'd forgot items. I was given a deadline to return within 48 hours or the opportunity would expire. I thought but I paid for it and your staff had 10 minutes to double check the bag. As far as the food its standard to any other locations but due to the lack of lines its sometimes fresher. Ambiance is okay if you appreciate fast food timers not being answered. Overall you will get ChickaFila food but you will not get that world class service you love.
