Nice Chick-fil-A in the South Bay. I like their curbside pick up, which has a lot of spaces in the front. They also have a pretty big drive-through. I feel the drive-through is the best compared to all the other's in San Diego . The food is standard like any Chick-fil-A. The order ahead app works well. This location is overwhelming and crowded. There is plenty of parking outside of the restaurant but not enough seating inside the restaurant for the amount of people there was. It was extremely busy that my pick up order took way longer than expected. When we received our food, no utensils or napkins were provided. The fries were a bit burnt and over fried. We also received the wrong sauces. I asked for water with no ice and it was filled with ice. Before getting ready to leave, I ordered an ice cream ahead of time. It took forever that we were provided two for the inconvenience. I give it three stars because the female worker actually helped us after seeing we didn't not receive our order correctly. read more

From the moment we walked in, we were treated like family. My 2-year-old son was all smiles when they gave him a sticker, and on a hot day like today, they went above and beyond by offering us complimentary ice cream, such a thoughtful gesture that made our day! I usually dont write bad reviews but this service at this locations sucks. I used the mobile order so my food would be almost ready or started as soon i got there but it wasnt. I really used to love eating at Chick-fil-A. I probably ate there 3-4 times a week until recently. The food is good, customer service is exceptional and the restaurant itself is clean and well kept. I loved their salads and would order them on a regular basis. However, over the last month, the quality has declined. The portion of lettuce has become noticeably skimpy. The container used to look full, but lately it looks half empty. The lettuce is very sparse now compared with what it used to be. It feels like I'm paying the same price for a much smaller portion. It's a sneaky, but very common way for businesses to offset rising costs. This is definitely poor business ethics. Customers know when they're paying more but getting less. It's a practice that damages trust and loyalty in the long run. The franchise might save some money in the short term, but it risks losing loyal customers, like myself, who feel undervalued. This is a deal breaker for me. I've really enjoyed ordering salads at this restaurant in the past, but I think I'll save my money and just stick to making my own salads at home. New Location still needs work!!!! Asked for CFA Sauce (5 on the receipt see picture) and got 4 ketchup packets instead. Not even close. So after my first initial awful visit of waiting 30 minutes on a curbside pick up and issue was resolved I decided I had enough courage to come back and order from here. But I'll be honest this is by far the worst chic fil a I've always been to. They are rood. The girls that work here are simply rood. They do not say my pleasure and cop attitudes. Customer service at this location is horrible. I've been to the free Wednesday breakfast a couple of times with my little girls (6 and 8 yrs old ) every time I get free breakfast for the 3 of us. Today, I wanted to see if I could get it through the drive thru, so I called first, and I was told I had to go inside the store, so I did. I got there, and the manager, Dennise, told me that my girls could not get free breakfast because they needed to show the app on their phone or tablet, my daughters do NOT own any electronic devices they're only 6 and 8, so they could not get free breakfast. Things have gotten a lot more smooth with this restaurant which is to be expected with some time. The food is what you expect from Chick-fil-A, and the line isn't typically as long as other locations, which is something that has surprised me so far. I thought that Ocean View Hills and the surrounding neighborhoods would have this place packed constantly. During a recent visit, my daughter dropped red soda all over a table on accident. She was feeling horrible about it. The gentleman that often helps people in the lobby (so sorry I'm forgetting your name right now, sir) was very kind to my daughter, telling her that this happens all the time and he would take care of it.
