But tonight this mom of 3 under 3 could cry happy tears of gratitude, had a horse trailer on and pull in around 9pm I had told the boys we would get food and play after they had been in their car seats for 4+ hours. Park the trailer get all 3 out and they are closed inside . The kindest young man with a smile on his face at the end of the night, offered to take our order and bring it out to us. Seriously I would pay his college tuition anywhere to come work for me if I had the means to do so!! So very thoughtful and kind!!! As a Shawnee resident and loyal Chick-fil-A customer since this location first opened, I've earned over 96,000 lifetime points, with more than 90% of them from the Shawnee restaurant. That should tell you how much I've supported this store over the years. Unfortunately, over the past year or so, I've seen a noticeable drop in both evening service and meal quality. Even when ordering ahead through the mobile app, wait times have grown longer -- surprising for a brand known for efficiency. I've tried coming back at different times of day and different days of the week to see if it was just a timing issue, but the results have been the same. The chicken quality is hit or miss, and sadly, it's mostly a miss. It's often gummy or chewy, missing that signature crispy, juicy texture Chick-fil-A used to deliver every time. The fries are still consistently good -- hot and crispy -- but the chicken used to be the star of the show. Because of this, I've started visiting the Midwest City location (Sooner & 15th) instead. Their service is fast, their food quality is excellent, and it reminds me of what made Chick-fil-A so special in the first place. I'd like to encourage Jeff and Cathy, the owners of the Shawnee location, to visit that store and see how they can bring back the same level of quality and consistency that once made Shawnee one of the best. This is the absolute worst run Chick-fil-A of all time. Every time I go to this one never fails. I wait forever. I always do a mobile order and I'm literally waiting 15 minutes. I was there today at 10:30 ordered two grilled chicken sandwiches and it took 15 minutes. They were not busy. Prior to this their employees just strangely just stare at you like they're more worried about socializing with customers then just getting the food out the door. Whoever manages this one needs to wake up and realize terrible terrible service so slow. Your job is to get food out sure be nice to customers is nice but you don't need to talk about everything they did in their day. Exceptional, prompt and efficient customer service. I came in and was served immediately with a smile and respect. The interior was clean and the staff were happy to be there. This place used to be good but has really gone downhill. The final straw was when I ordered a DoorDash and when it was delivered it was incorrect. I called and the guy that answered the phone hung up on me when I asked if anything could be done. i have neverspent more than 5 minutes from order to product. we mustve sat in the drive thru line after ordering for a total of 10 minutes. 5 of that sitting at the window and the lady at the window was chatting with us the entire time while everyone behind her was busy bees. she was super nice and it was a nice gesture, but we really just wanted our food and to get back on the road. read more

Here is why we think Chic Fil A is one of the best fast food restaurants: industry best customer service compared to any other chain, homemade fresh squeezed lemonade with free refills (which is unusual considering the quality of lemonade), salads are always fresh, chicken is as good as chicken gets (which will never be as good as beef), restaurant is clean, playground is clean, very kid friendly (multiple people talk to my kids and make sure they are attended to), they come out to your table to see if you are OK but don't require a tip. read more

After receiving a bone-cold breakfast burrito at the drive-thru , the manager responded to my complaint card and said, "Our food isn't cold here; we actually have the opposite problem!" Nice job sir! I routinely submit complaints about food that is satisfactorily "hot." While my initial experience was disappointing, I'm pleased to report that my family has since enjoyed regular meals at this CFA location, and it does indeed represent the brand well in form and function. I have been to several CFA's and this one in Shawnee has to be the worst! I have a child who loves CFA. With that being said we eat here often. For the price you would think the food would be great every time. Sadly not the case! The order can be correct on the screen and even correct on the receipt. What comes out the window is another story! The quality control needs improvement. I stopped getting food when I go now. I just get drinks. Today I ordered a large lemonade lite ice. I got a large Diet lemonade. I am so mad I could scream!! Getting my food wrong is becoming my new normal but my drink! it's a pain to get your food replaced. Waiting in the long line then having to drive back to have the order corrected is a pain in the butt! I am all for kids being employed but maybe put someone more experienced and triple check the order before it goes out. Especially for a special orders. read more

The man took forever to take my order (it was not complicated) and then at the window I asked the lady if they charged me for meals instead of everything separate and she said yes when that was not the case. I've been a fan of Chickfila for years, and was ecstatic when I heard one was coming to Shawnee. From day 1, this Chickfila has met and exceeded my expectations of quality food and service from a fast food restaurant. The staff and management here really go above and beyond to make sure that every dining experience is a positive one. I am a huge fan of the chicken sandwiches, chicken noodle soup, waffle fries, sweet tea, frosted lemonade, and their peach milkshakes! An excellent alternative to Sonic/McDonalds/Taco Bell/KFC, Chickfila is worth it every time. read more

Typically Chick-fil-a is an incredibly well run restaurant. However we spent over 30 minutes trapped in their drive thru. It was the slowest drive thru I have ever been in and they didn't have additional staff working the line like every other Chick-fil-A has. Got a spicy chicken sandwich on regular bun and a piece of chicken in a box and a gf bun in a package. No pickles?
