Do not eat at this restaurant located at 4302 N Harrison Ave, in Shawnee, OK. Ordered 2 combo meals and didn't get what I ordered, plus the food was cold to the touch. Requested a remake, but the manager on duty refused my request. Had a rather large order on a Friday on my way home from work. A mistake was made and a small side of Mac n cheese was put in my order instead of the family size I ordered. Not a problem, I planned on being back in town the next day. I live about 15 miles from the store so I wasn't coming back on Friday. I brought both receipts and the unopened small container of mac & cheese, and asked if this was actually a family size, or was a small put in my meal by mistake as I had thought. We determined it had been a mistake on the store and they were going to replace it. I thought about just getting my money back, but I thought I could give it away. At this point someone who I think was a manager came out and was about the rudest person I could imagine, wanted to know if I had mistaken and gotten a small side. I commented that it was the restaurant's mistake but yes. Her attitude wasn't apologetic, but very condescending and rude. Barely was able to order as the drive thru attendant was not communicating through the intercom. I can hear them talking to their coworkers but kept ignoring me. Finally I was able to request a combo 12 with two family sides Was told there is a 18min wait for chicken. I paid $37 and waited in the parking space 18min before getting that feeling they weren't going give me what I paid for. I waited an additional 2min before getting that feeling they may not even refund my money. So I went inside and asked for a refund. The manager said what for? I said for the meal. The manager then proceeds to tell me it's because they were just taking my order out to my vehicle. This place give me a very bad vibe. You want my $37 dollars, do the work for it. read more

Stopped here driving through town at 830 on a Sunday, and just going to say, this place is in DESPERATE need of a management overhaul! First off, it took 15 minuets just to get to the order board in the drive through to place an order. Then once you get there, you find out that it's an additional 8-15 minuet wait if you order anything other than tenders. Second thing, don't plan on ordering a side, unless you want fries, literally out of ALL sides other than fries, oh and green beans. Oh get being busy, and I'd get running out of a few things, but when you're out of 9 of 11 things, there is a big problem. My third concern, there's a line around the building, an additional wait to order food, and there are 3-4 people out back smoking and having a grand ol time while 2 people inside are hustling like no other. Tried on the first day of business. Typical fast food assembly. The livers were dried out similar to what you get in a convenience store. The fish was the thinnest fillet I have ever seen in my life. The biscuits and gravy were average at best. But what stood out was the tenders they were perfect. Cooked to a light golden brown and very tasty. Not greasy at all. Honestly, we order DoorDash from this place constantly because we like the food, but the staff is AWFUL. The manager is absolutely insane. We've complained several times and nothing is ever done about it. Our orders are usually messed up and the manager somehow turns it around on us and yells at us. I just ordered on DoorDash and called to ask if it was confirmed because the app said it was still waiting to be confirmed after 10-15 mins of ordering The guy I spoke to was very monotone like I was inconveniencing them. He got back on the phone and told me that the order was made. I told him thank you and that I was just trying to make sure and he said "okay?" Look, I understand a bad day, I've been in customer service since I was 16, but this isn't just a one off. This is every single time we order from them, whether it be DoorDash or through the drive through. I like the food so I'll still keep going there, but the owner really needs to step up and take responsibility for his/her employees because they are not good, kind, or helpful. read more

We came through the drive thru at 10:40am and ordered two chicken tenders. We waited at the window for 17 minutes. They wanted to give us one spicy because they only had one plain tender. We declined. 17 minutes later we got our two tenders. This was Saturday, February 16. Luckily we were the only customers there hence the mystery of why it took 17 minutes to get two chicken tenders. I have eaten at other chicken expresses and have enjoyed each one. I was especially excited when they were going to open theShawnee Oklahoma location. Unfortunately the service and staff is horrible there. I have repeatedly tried to order the regular bone-in chicken and then been told to wait 15 minutes while they cook some. I called in an order tonight at 6:07 and was told it would be ready in 11 minutes. When I showed up at 6:22, I was told it would be a 14 minute wait so they could cook the chicken. The personnel were rude and inconsiderate. Fool me once shame on you, fool me 6 times and I should be kicked for giving them another opportunity. read more

Got to the chicken express at 11:45. Didn't want to wait but sat there for 45 minutes and I asked the lady up front what was the hold-up, the guy in the back came up to me and said "I'm waiting on them to cook some more". I don't know if he meant more legs or if he was referring to breasts, but I was very disgusted. He finally brought my order out and I left. Ordered the same thing we have ordered every week since the restaurant opened: 2 fish filet combos w/ sides, drinks & 2 tartar sauces w/ one & 1 tartar & 1 cocktail w/ the other. Got my order and pulled over to make sure it was all there. I was short 1 cocktail sauce (it happens). Parked, went in & asked for another. The worker acted strange, went & questioned employees, left me waiting, then told me I would have to pay for it. I told her we had been ordering the same thing forever, & not having issues, she said she didn't care & wouldn't give it to me. I asked her if 1 tartar sauce was worth losing a regular customer, & again she didn't care. I went out & looked at my receipt, & it had the extra sauce on it! I went back in & showed it to her, she handed me one & walked off. This is my first negative review.
