I really hope this place is successful. I enjoyed my meal so did my husband. I would definitely eat here again. Staff was super friendly as well. read more

What a wonderful surprise this little restaurant was! Phenomenal service, and the food was absolutely fantastic! I ordered the grilled cheese supreme, might be my new favorite sandwich! My daughter ordered the grilled Italian, and it was perfect! We also had the special soups, one of them was a seafood tomato, which was Devine, and the other one was a jalapeño chowder, which couldn't have been more perfect on this rainy day! We also had the bruschetta, and I'm so glad we did, it was very tasty, and a Greek salad, which was perfect as well! 11/10, I'll drive all the way back from the city for this! read more

I saw this place in Shawnee on Facebook. Had to like , so I could see the specials. A high compliment to who post pictures. They make you crave! Food here is excellent! I ordered the Italian cheese with My side a sweet potato. Really good buttered bread and cheesy inside! A little sweetness sprinkled on top of potato. Husband's Chicken melt was super good with cheese n mushrooms. His side salad was lots of good stuff. Now the reason for only 3 stars....the sign saying wait to be seated but then say set anywhere? Young guy waiter, so quiet! Nice but too quiet. Now the seating, so awkward. One table front , then just a few in back. Place is big inside, which is not needed. Maybe an old drugstore before. Needs to be closed off in back and bring tables together. Alittle decor would go along way. So food excellent but not a place I want to drive from Del City for an enjoyable meal. Maybe if close by, like Casino time. Good cook for sure! read more

Generous portions. Excellent food quality. Friendly staff. Also many healthy options.

The Owl Shoppe ended up being the perfect place for our party of 10 for girls night. We ended up getting so many different entrees, and they were easily able to accommodate special dietary needs. They offer gluten free bread and some vegan options, so this ensured that everyone was satisfied with the meal! My Philly cheesesteak was very good, and my favorite part was the fact that they grilled cheese on the outside of the bun, which is perfect for me, a major cheese lover. You could tell that they put effort into presenting each plate in a beautiful manner. This shop is located in the heart of downtown Shawnee and is open Tuesday-Saturday for lunch. We found out they are also open on Friday nights, so it was the perfect option for our large group. They had plenty of seating, and the service was friendly, although a little on the slow side. This was fine since it gave us time to enjoy the company. read more

The family and I came here for lunch, looking for vegan options. We got the chips and salsa/guacamole/hummus as an appetizer. The chips were homemade and really good! The dips were kinda small but also good. We ordered a strawberry spinach salad, small Mediterranean bowl, and large Burrito bowl. I'm not sure there was much difference between the small bowl and the large bowl, but only because they were both really big. Everything we got was amazing! No complaints at all. We'll come back the next time we're in Shawnee. read more

GET YOUR CUTE BUTT TO SHAWNEE. This place has been on my Yelp list for at least 3 years and I finally made the journey there and I was beyond pleased that I did! The food is made with such love and flavor and comes in such generous portions. Make sure you follow their IG page for all their yummy features! *and also call before you go because sometimes they close a little early! read more

Great chips and salsa. The ingredients were fresh. The fresh fruit was excellent with a variety of different kinds of fruits. Quesadillas were good, but a little under seasoned. The friend tried the fancy grilled cheese and loved it. Ambiance is chill and there was live music at 11:30AM on a Thursday, which was nice. Service was excellent and the waiters were well attentive. read more

If you don't eat here, you're missing out!. We've never been here for dinner before, only lunch. Such delicious food and nice quick staff. My boyfriend got the special, blackened salmon with grilled shrimp and asparagus on a bed of Alfredo with wilted spinach and sun-dried tomatoes and I got the hot ham sandwich with chips. 10/10 would recommend to anyone looking for a good cooked meal! read more

I walked in with my husband to grab a quick breakfast. Nobody there to greet us or a sign to say seat yourself. Not what I expected. It was very makeshift. The tables and chairs were quite old and looked like the had come from the Salvation Army. I then walked back to try to find a spot to eat. I saw a lot of dirty dishes and tables that were not bussed. The had dirty plates sitting on a counter. It was very unappetizing. We left. I don't plan to go back. read more

The Owl Shoppe - Avocado Toast !!!! - Salad Near Me - Shawnee, Oklahoma

I was not impressed with this location at all. The food was mediocre but the place is filthy! You walk into the space and immediately on the left is a storage shelf - looks cluttered and chaos - not welcoming at all. The tables are old and the walls unfinished. At the end of the "food bar" is another storage cabinet. The carpet is filthy!!! Worse thing is ever - the bathroom wasn't working. You walk back into a bad back area and had to find a bucket to pour water into the toilet. The people are nice and kind but the photos on YELP are NOT true. These are much older and the environment is worn. read more

Nice staff and great food with large portions. Amanda truly has some amazing food creations.

My first visit to The Owl Shoppe was today for lunch. I only had soup & salad (lo-carb lately) but there were many interesting things on the menu. The soup du jour was chicken corn tortilla, which was tasty, and my salad had an assortment of greens, multi-colored bell pepper strips, grape tomatoes, black olives, white onion & shredded cheese. The salad ingredients were very fresh and the blue cheese dressing was good (on the side). If you order a soda, you get a glass of ice and an unopened can. The cafe was full during the noon hour but the service was very friendly & attentive. My ticket total was $16, which seemed a bit spendy for what I had, but I did enjoy the meal. Most everything on the menu was $10-$20. read more

Literally went out of my way the first time I came here because the menu looked so good and it was well worth it! I love the creativity of the menu, the ability to make most anything veggie/ vegan friendly. Seriously it's delicious. I've been waiting to come back to Shawnee just so I could eat here again. Food is flavorful, everything tastes fresh, staff is friendly. I don't know if they have stock in asparagus cause it's in so many things, I honestly thought I was going to walk out the first time because why do I need asparagus in my wrap..but whoa do they know what they are doing with it! No substitutions, trust them, they know what they are doing. Bonus point- kids menu has bean burger! read more

Had my first lunch at The Owl Shoppe and was impressed with the food. I ordered an unsweet tea and the Mediterranean Delight. The Mediterranean Delight was like a salad but much more interesting. Loaded with veggies, a flour tortilla and a generous scoop of humus. I added the grilled chicken. I do wish there was more grilled chicken considering it cost $14 but it was still really good. The service was very prompt & friendly. With a tip it was about $21 which seems a bit high for a small town lunch but like I said it was very good with high quality ingredients. I would definitely consider coming again. read more

Always delicious, and the menu varies so you never tire of chef prepared outstanding meals!!

This place was not impressive, which is sad because I hear people talk about it often. It might've been an off day but it was not pleasant one bit and sadly we would probably never eat here again. The table was sticky and when we asked them to wipe it down they kind of seemed annoyed. Well then we got our teas and there were bug body parts floating in both glasses. They said their ice machine was broken and they were using the very bottom of the bin. We ended up getting bottled cokes. We were excited about our food. I got a quesadilla but it was like a Thanksgiving dinner and my husband got some kind of Philly cheesesteak. Well, as we are eating my husband found a long hair in his sandwich. They offered to make a new one, but my husband lost his appetite. Well, I continued to eat until I found a hair INSIDE my quesadilla. I was floored! We let them know and they said we didn't have to pay for our meal, which was good because we barely ate two maybe three bites. By that point we left and went somewhere else to find food. I don't know how we had everything that could go wrong but it did. read more

Wonderful lunch today. Perfect location on Main Street in Shawnee OK where you can easily park and walk over. Our service was great with informed staff about allergies and options to make choices enjoyable. The gluten contentious fare was strong. My wife got the vegan southwest quesadilla and I got the GF version. She also got the soup of the day which was a tasty tortilla soup! The loaded sweet potato is so next level!
