A few things; They have absolutely priced me out of coming back. The prices are outrageous. $5 extra for shrimp meaning the entree with no protein is $14. That is outrageous and you only get 5 shrimp. The spring rolls have nothing in them for $8. $52 for two adults to eat is insane! We eat thai often and many different places and never spend anywhere near this much. The food is good but very inconsistent. I used to get a 1 spicy then suddenly the 1 would be so spicy that I could not eat it. The pad thai tastes different every single time that I go. For a place charging $20 per entree, it should atleast have some consistency in flavor. Definitely not worth the money, we won't be back. Hopefully Shawnee can get an affordable Thai joint because this place has a monopoly right now and aren't forced to do better or charge affordably. read more

As soon as you walk in the hostess greets you and seats you down. The ambiance was very pleasant. The hostess takes your drink orders and brings them out. Our server made a couple of suggestions. We didn't have to wait long for our food. The food was very flavorful. Of course, we ordered dessert. We ordered 2 of the Mango w/ Sweet Sticky Rice. Then our server came out and stated that the mangoes weren't ripe and they were only able to make 1 order. And the other mangoes were sour. I appreciate that she was considerate and came out to inform us. She also stated that 1 order is enough for both of us. As you can see it was enough to share. We were a little concerned because this restaurant is in a small strip mall, but were we ever pleasantly surprised! it was lunch time and pretty full, but we were seated within moments after being treated to a plethora of delicious smells upon entering. My partner started with shrimp rolls and dumplings that each came with what tasted like Hoisin mixed with soy and then another type of sweet/sour sauce; both were delicious on either item. Very tasty! For our entrees, my partner had Drunken Noodles with Pork which was full of a medley of flavors accented by the perfect amount of ginger. I enjoyed the Tom Yum Soup at spice level 3 - at the first spoonful, every tastebud in my mouth said, "well, heellloooooooo!", and "Hot, Hot, Hot" by Buster Poindexter started playing in my hea! My lips were instantly tingling as I enjoyed each consecutive flavor of this soup; I would suggest a lighter spice level if you do not want your sinuses to be cleared for the next month or so, but it is GOOD, The owner was so nice also! After we had eaten, she brought out a condiment caddy with three levels of spice they use and explained the spices could be put on the side ranging from "mild" to "you're kidding, right?" I was a little apprehensive when I walked into this place today because they were out of chicken and they are closed on Mondays. However, I absolutely love Thai food and we decided to go ahead and have lunch. I'm absolutely thrilled that we did. I had Penang curry and my husband had beef and broccoli. The kids had crab wontons with a side of fried rice minus the vegetables. The waitress was delightful, attentive but not crowding. The atmosphere was similar to a fast food restaurant but relaxed and the area was clean.The reason we came was for the curry and it was beyond delicious. I will absolutely be returning. Plenty of seating options (inside seems much bigger than the outside of the building) I got broccoli stir fry with chicken and jasmine rice and my boyfriend got pad Thai with a level 2 spice. I usually get the Tom Yum soup. It varies on who is making the food that day whether it is top notch or not. Takes awhile to make food, so I suggest to order ahead. Anything with chicken added is tasty! But again, the flavor can be off sometimes depending on who is cooking. read more

They only had one server for 16 tables. He was very nice though. They did have a sign in the window that said "now hiring." I found their prices high. My Pad See Ew was $9.95 for tofu. They do have a lunch special which is pricey for what the diner gets. Most other Thai restaurants give you more for your lunch special. When I received my food it was totally boring; it also allegedly came with broccoli and carrots, which were totally absent. I feel like o totally wasted my money and calories on this meal. When I got my receipt I saw that it said no veggie. Excuse me. When I ordered, because I didn't specify that I wanted veggies with my tofu, even though the menu states that there are vegetables in the order, the waiter assumed I didn't want them. This is the best Thai Food I've had in Shawnee. I like my thai food medium hot. They have a heat scale of 1-5. The first time time I ordered seafood red curry here, i said 3, and it lit my mouth on fire. So the second time I said 2 and it lit my mouth on fire, it seemed like someone poured gas on that fire and lit it in fire again. We ordered for take out and the staff had great customer service. We ran off and left our Thai tea behind and the staff gave us a call immediately to let us know. We ordered pad thai, pad see ew, tom kha soup, veggie spring rolls, and green curry. The green curry had a nice spice to it and tasted pretty good. Our pad see ew was not the best I've had but I'm pretty picky about Thai food (I have had Thai in Thailand, Chicago, Australia, Cali, and Oklahoma.) My mom claims it is usually better but it was pretty rubbery this time. The pad thai was tasty but I like mine with peanuts and lime so I was surprised there weren't any.
