Thai noodle soup - extra onions, beef and meatball on the side.

Sooo good!! Wanted to find a new soup place so I tried the Thai noodle soup. Spice level 2 was just enough, it was even a little bit sweet towards the end when it was cooling down.

Wonderful food and kind staff. We especially loved the khao soi. Yum!!! Highly recommend trying it if you're in town.

Delicious! We were a little concerned because this restaurant is in a small strip mall, but were we ever pleasantly surprised! it was lunch time and pretty full, but we were seated within moments after being treated to a plethora of delicious smells upon entering. My partner started with shrimp rolls and dumplings that each came with what tasted like Hoisin mixed with soy and then another type of sweet/sour sauce; both were delicious on either item. Very tasty! For our entrees, my partner had Drunken Noodles with Pork which was full of a medley of flavors accented by the perfect amount of ginger. I enjoyed the Tom Yum Soup at spice level 3 - at the first spoonful, every tastebud in my mouth said, "well, heellloooooooo!", and "Hot, Hot, Hot" by Buster Poindexter started playing in my hea! My lips were instantly tingling as I enjoyed each consecutive flavor of this soup; I would suggest a lighter spice level if you do not want your sinuses to be cleared for the next month or so, but it is GOOD, The owner was so nice also! After we had eaten, she brought out a condiment caddy with three levels of spice they use and explained the spices could be put on the side ranging from "mild" to "you're kidding, right?" Try them all if you are feeling adventurous! With the fast service, gracious hospitality, and AMAZING food, we are definitely going to come back for more! 19 JUNE 2024 We were back in Shawnee when our plans unavoidably changed so we decided to treat ourselves and try Saya Thai for dinner...delicious yet again! This time we tried Fried Calamari and Chicken Satay with the accompanying sauces and I would recommend both; this was the first time I have ever liked a peanut sauce! For our dinner dishes, we had Pad Thai and Soy Sauce Noodles with shrimp and chicken....our food seemed better than our first visit! The owner even remembered us and brought out three different types of hot sauces/ spices for us to try on the side. For an extra treat, I had a Butterfly Pea Lemonade which was wonderful after an hot day. This place is fantastic!

Good food! It is called "1 Thai restaurant "now. Good size restaurant and clean. We order 3 things and we love them all. I specially like my noodle. It brought me back to Thailand. The potsticker is amazingly crunchy, and it is homemade, not frozen! Service is friendly. Ask the server for recommendations.

I was a little apprehensive when I walked into this place today because they were out of chicken and they are closed on Mondays. However, I absolutely love Thai food and we decided to go ahead and have lunch. I'm absolutely thrilled that we did. I had Penang curry and my husband had beef and broccoli. The kids had crab wontons with a side of fried rice minus the vegetables. The waitress was delightful, attentive but not crowding. The atmosphere was similar to a fast food restaurant but relaxed and the area was clean. The reason we came was for the curry and it was beyond delicious. I will absolutely be returning. Our total was around $40 with our tip and I was 100% satisfied. Definitely suggest if you like curry or Thai food.

Best Thai food around, looks like they are under new management. It's still hard to get them on the phone.

Many Thai restaurants just offer regular Thai tea, so I love to order it when they do. The drink was so good with the perfect amount of sweetness, and it was served in a cute, decorated bowl. We decided to eat family-style and ordered the Beef Panang (which is what my friend recommended), the Khao Soi, and the Pad See Ew with tofu. We opted for level 1 spice for all of our dishes, and it was perfect for me-- not too spicy. The Beef Panang was one of the best bites of the night. It was so creamy, savory, and did not feel overly heavy. It was delicious with rice, and the beef was incredibly tender. The Khao Soi was also so good! Another dish that I don't see often in Thai restaurants around here, but I also love to order it when I do see it. The noodles were cooked perfectly, and the curry soup also had an amazing rich and creamy flavor. The Pad See Ew tasted great, but the noodles were a bit under for me. Overall, the food was tasty, the service was great, and I can't wait to come back!

The place was absolutely packed, with a lively buzz that spoke to its popularity, and we had to wait about 15 minutes to be seated, but trust me, it was worth every second. The restaurant might be small, but it's incredibly inviting, with warm decor and a cozy atmosphere that instantly makes you feel at home. The staff were phenomenal, clearly dedicated to ensuring every guest has a fantastic time. They were darting back and forth between the kitchen, delivering steaming plates to diners, and refilling drinks with a smile. We kicked off our meal with fresh spring rolls and fried spring rolls, both of which arrived promptly and were bursting with flavor. The crispy fried spring rolls, stuffed with transparent noodles and veggies, paired perfectly with the tangy plum sauce, while the fresh rolls that were filled with lettuce, tofu, onion, and bean sprouts. They were a refreshing delight with their peanut sauce. For mains, I went with the green curry with chicken, and my dining companions chose the yellow curry, red curry, pineapple fried rice, and Tom Yum soup. The curries let you pick your protein (chicken, beef, shrimp, veggies, or tofu) and spice level (1 to 3), and every dish was a masterpiece. My green curry was a sooo good! Creamy coconut milk blended with bamboo shoots, eggplant, basil, bell peppers, and what I believe is a house-made curry paste that shone through, with perfectly cooked, thinly sliced chicken breast that melted in my mouth. The red curry impressed with its rich coconut milk base, eggplant, bell peppers, bamboo shoots, and basil, while the yellow curry brought a comforting mix of potatoes, green peas, and carrots. The pineapple fried rice was a tropical treat with chicken, egg, onion, tomato, cashew nuts, a hint of curry powder, and a touch of cilantro (we added shrimp for $2 extra, and it was a game-changer). The Tom Yum soup, with its tart lime juice broth, fresh mushrooms, lemongrass, kaffir lime leaves, tomatoes, cilantro, and Thai seasoning, was a bold, zesty highlight. Everything tasted unbelievably fresh, and the ingredients felt carefully selected. This place is a must try that deserves all the hype, don't miss out! I can't wait to come back and explore more of the menu. 5 stars, hands down!
