Walking in, it is a long corridor yet very spacious, clean, and vibrant in personality. I ordered a Tex Mex bowl while she ordered a Fall Fest bowl. Each bowl came with brown rice, chicken as protein, and an assortment of toppings. We really enjoyed our salads as the portion were amazing, and the presentation of the salad bowls were on point. The staff who prepared the salad was very gracious and asked us whether we like the salad to be mixed, and how we like our dressings, etc. It's all the little touches that made us felt special as customers. I am glad that there are plenty of other choices to try, such as make your own salad, burrito, etc. Speaking of clean, the bathroom was immaculate and it goes to all these touches that make a place stand out. I walked in and saw the owner in a chef's coat, his staff in theirs, cooking and taking orders right in front of you. The setup felt like an open-air kitchen that still fully embraced being a deli. They even have an "ocky way" sandwich section, plus regular hot and cold sandwiches on a sub or a roll. Drinks and chips you don't see everywhere. The variety and quality genuinely impressed me. The owner was super friendly, and I ordered a honey turkey chopped cheese-style sandwich cold. Mayo, lettuce, turkey, American cheese, salt, pepper, vinegar, all chopped together and stuffed into a hero. It came out to twelve bucks. The menu has range. There's a salad bar, beef patties, and the place smelled incredible. I was already planning my next order before I even left. I took my sandwich back to work, sat down on break, and the first bite was an explosion of flavor. The sweetness of the honey turkey, the creamy mayo, the hit of vinegar, everything came together perfectly. I ate half and saved the other half for Jo because it was that good.
