Next we added a cup of the New England clam chowder and the Wisconsin beer cheese soup, both of which were thick and had a rich taste. We finished with sharing a fish sandwich that can't be described any other way than HUGE compared to the bun. The house made kettle chips were a very nice addition. Our server was knowledgeable about the menu. All servers were friendly and efficient. They offer a full bar and cold beer. Be sure to ask about the drink specials. My husband's beer was on special for $2. I tried the Flagler Sunset. It was a good mix of rum and fruit juices. Heads up: no padding, so if you're like some of my family, you may want to bring a cushion (LOL). We didn't feel rushed at all even though they close at 3pm, and it was nice to enjoy our meal and conversation without feeling hurried. Parking can be tricky in this area, but we found a spot across the street and walked over. All in all, Vessel makes for a pleasant, casual spot for lunch.
