**Where do I even begin?** We were visiting from out of town and made a reservation based on the website, which looked like it promised a five-star dining experience with a side of class. Spoiler alert: the only thing five-star about this place was how fast we wanted to leave. The red flags started immediately. The "ambience" was giving post-hurricane garage sale. And then the owner--dressed like a retired Jersey Shore cast member with a sad top-knot ponytail clinging to its last follicle--yelled from across the bar, "Welcome to the best restaurant in the county!" That was the first of many lies. We were squeezed six people into a table for four, even though there were plenty of empty tables, which we assume were reserved for ghosts or maybe just the owner's ego. Alcohol selection? Oh, just the finest! We asked for the beer list and were told there were *two* options. When we inquired about wine, the sommelier (a.k.a. the same server who forgot napkins, silverware, and the will to live) said, and I quote, "Red or white." That's not a wine list--it's a personality test. We were handed four sticky, mismatched menus with half the items violently Sharpied out like they'd been caught cheating on a test. At this point, most people would've made a break for it, but not us! No, we stayed. Because we're the kind of people who touch the stove *twice* just to be sure it's hot. We ordered the ahi tuna, escargot, and baked brie. The tuna came out looking like four sad, paper-thin slices of regret. No seasoning. No garnish. Not even a pity drizzle of sauce. Just raw fish, alone on a plate, contemplating its life choices. It tasted like someone froze a fish stick in 1993 and just now remembered to serve it. The escargot? Imagine rubber bands soaked in lukewarm garlic water. Now imagine paying money for that. The baked brie? Honestly, I blacked out at that point so I can't even tell you. After this culinary fever dream, we signaled for the check. That's when the owner reappeared, pants unbuttoned (WHY?!), and said--and this is 100% real--"Did I pissed you off?" Sir, the only thing more offensive than your grammar is your restaurant. We smiled, nodded, and lied that we had somewhere else to be, mostly because we feared telling the truth would end in a full-blown Jersey brawl in the parking lot. Final verdict: Never going back. You shouldn't go either. Save yourself. Go eat a gas station hot dog. Trust me--it'll be better. read more

What a cute place. So glad I found it on Yelp and read through some reviews because it motivated me to select it for our family dinner. And we were very pleased. We had a large group and I will start with my first compliment, which is that they accommodated a group of 11 and best of all...I could make a reservation that night on Open Table. Loved that convenience. When we arrived we were graciously greeted by the owner and it all went beautifully from there. He made some excellent recommendations. Everything ordered at the entire table was excellent from the gator tail to the kids burger to the kids chicken (the fries were amazing) to the sea scallops to the pork bolognese. He was attentive and personable. (And the sauce with the gator tail was an excellent dipping sauce for the French fries!) So glad we decided to venture to a new, unknown spot. 386 is located on A1A about 5 minutes north of the A1A-Camino Del Mar Parkway intersection, in a property with a pleasant beach cottage vibe. There is a bar and a few tables on one side, and another dining room opposite. Note that they only serve wine and beer. Our visit was wonderful, marred only by a bit of sloppy service at the outset, but once Antoinette took over, all was great. She's a gem and 386 needs to hang onto her. Our party of four had the scallops special, 2x pasta with lobster, and a filet mignon. All were excellent!! The pasta with lobster featured LARGE chunks of lobster tail and claw meat, and the truffle Alfredo sauce was to die for. The scallops were cooked perfectly, and the meat lover in the group LOVED her filet. Even better, all of the entrees were reasonably priced, and the onion soup, salads and appetizers were downright cheap. The Caesar salad and onion soup were delicious. I've read a few reviews that trashed this restaurant, and that scorn is undeserved. We're going to request a reservation for later in the week so we can return to 386. This restaurant is well worth a try. read more

We had to dine here again! We had visited 386 Fusion in April 2023, and planned to dine again on this second vacation in the area. Frank and his crew provide fabulous fish meals that are unique and beyond excellent. I'm impressed with the extensive wine list, unique appetizers and salads. I started with the Strawberry Gorgonzola salad - awesome! Then I was "wowed" by a melt-in-your mouth Black Grouper special. I don't know how the veggies and risotto can be so delectable too. We savored a bottle of chardonnay recommended by Frank which was perfect with the fish. It was a Wednesday and a special half-price bottle was a great surprise savings! The service was terrific, too, being a slow time this early in the evening. I appreciated the cozy and quiet dining room where it was comfortable to enjoy conversation. I wish we had several more people with us so we could try more of the menu items. I'll be back the next opportunity I have in Palm Coast/Flagler Beach! read more

We went last evening for the first time, going there. We had 5 o'clock reservations. We arrived to a line waiting to get In, as the doors were not open. When the doors opened, everyone slowly walked in, to where a guy, who was wearing ripped jeans and a T shirt, checked to see if there were reservations made. Once he saw we had a reservation, he pointed to a room, off to the left. He was not friendly, and there was no greeting, and he was yelling at people who said they had reservations, but he couldn't find them. He said it was a bad night. He was yelling at them!! We were not seated by anyone, just left to pick out a table. At 5:35 we still hadn't had anyone ,come to the table to take a drink order. At 5:40 they took the order, only for use to wait another 10 minutes!. Very limited choice, and even the girl said they have very little beer choices, so we drank wine, which was less than average! Since it was Valentine's Day it was fixed menu. There was no place setting the table, except a knife and a fork. A woman came in, around 6 o'clock with napkins. We later found out this was the owners wife. The couple to our right, just up and left, after they waited for an hour, to even be attended to, by a server. I wanted to do the same, but where would we go on Valentine's Day as everything would be booked!! The choice, on the fixed menu, was so very limited. My husband had the noodle bowl, which had very spicy noodles and a few (three) pieces of meat. It was terrible! My pork meal was just ok, and nothing special. There is more to a restaurant than good food, which this place lacks It's called hospitality, and this place has none! Terrible, terrible service, and not good food! It ruined our Valentine's night! Especially since I made the reservation two weeks in advance. We could have gone anywhere but here. The Atlantic Grill is right down the road and I wish we has gone there. The dinner was not cheap, and because my husband is. so nice, he tipped 20 percent. They did not deserve that at all!! We should've voiced our complaint, but all we wanted to do, was get out of there!!! Lesson learned. We will never go back, and I advise others reading this, not to go there! read more

I wouldn't give this place any stars because the owner who thinks he's out of the Jersey shore is rude and is not a businessman. Maybe that's why he has lost it so many times. I made a reservation for Valentines Day about a week ago in advance for my wife and I. And when we got there we were told it was a bad night and he tried to call me several times when there was not a phone call from that place. We are locals and live down the street. Unfortunately we arrived to find out that they could not find our reservation the person greeting us was in quite a state and wouldn't even help us he actually said this is the worst day we showed him our reservation but decided to leave as he made us feel like we were idiots Funny how someone could choose to yell at customer's who were about to spend over $200 for dinner. Stumbled on this restaurant and glad we did! When you pull up, it looks like a run down house (photo below) but inside it was fairly nice. Prices were a little high for the ambiance, but the food we ordered was delicious. Calamari for appetizer, homemade soup, Cesar salad with homemade dressing were all very good. I ordered the boneless ribeye which came with mashed potatoes and veggies. Everything was amazing! Our server did a great job and made sure everyone's drinks remained filled. read more

The owner waited on us and he was inviting, friendly and helpful with both wine and food suggestions. He cares about his customers and wants to ensure that your visit exceeds your expectations. My wife ordered the blue crab encrusted flounder while I had the filet. Both entrees were excellent. We also started with the escargot which was also excellent. The waiter (owner) suggested a white wine to pair with our meals which was delicious. BEST MEAL EVER! So my husband and I were staying at Hammock Beach in 2020 when a guy we met at the pool asked us what our dinner plans were for that night. We told him Delfinos (at the resort) to which he turned his nose up at. He said don't go there, go to 386, so we did. We fell in love and have been dying to come back! 2 years later and it's just as delicious as we remembered. Literally. We can't stop talking about it. *Insider scoop- if you go on Wednesday ask about the Wine Down Wednesday special. They aren't doing it anymore, it's something called "Wacky Wednesday" and it's not on the menu, only by request! You get an appetizer, two entrees, a dessert, and a bottle of wine for $75!!! Any selection you want- ribeye, filet, lobster you name it! I mean what?! What an amazing deal! We started with the FogBank Pinot Noir which is nothing fancy, but tasty. Next we ordered the jalapeño poppers which were on special and they came with a raspberry chipotle sauce. The Caesar salad in my husbands words-- "I'm a Caesar salad connoisseur and this is one of the best I've ever had. Perfect amount of dressing and I love the bowl!" He also ordered the ribeye which came with carrots and mashed potatoes which honestly-- the sides stole the show. The carrots are OUT OF THIS WORLD. Never thought I'd say that but they do something quite magical with them. I ordered the filet medium and it came out a little bloody. I felt so bad because I never send steak back but I couldn't stomach it. They were so nice and just put it back on the grill a few minutes and it came back perfectly. Our server was Angela and man was she a gem! So nice, so attentive, and just the best! We had to have 2 desserts-- the crème brûlée and a tuxedo chocolate bomb- it had chocolate and vanilla mousse on the inside and a hard chocolate shell on the outside. OMG. Delish! If I was just reviewing the food alone, I would give it four stars because the food was yummy but since I also have to review the service, the owner, the wine selection/lack there of or a wine menu, the ambience, the cleanliness, the list could go on and on, and being generous with a two. Check out the curtains on the wall behind us.... Dorm room? Drug house? Never mind the water coming out of the wall and covering the floor( at least they put up a wet floor sign to warn you) or the waitress taking orders and delivering food with her baby in a front pack.... It looks like a dive outside (needs some TLC) & is a more of a beach bar dive inside than "A Fusion of Fine Eating"! The poor waitress had to handle the entire dining room to the point we bussed our own tables to fit the food coming out from the kitchen 90 minutes after ordering and the "Guido" (owner/manager?) never helped his staff. My girlfriends and I spent the week in the Palm Coast area with our families. We were looking for an amazing dinner for our Girls night out. We stumbled upon 386 from the great Yelp reviews they received. We started our amazing meal with chilled jumbo lump crab and colossal shrimp, amazing lump crab cakes, and buttery garlicky escargo. The owner Frank was attentive and kind and visited our table to make sure we are having the best experience. He gave us detailed information about the menu and answered any questions we had. For dinner we enjoyed Mediterranean Branzino , Hogfish topped with crab meat, and Filet mignon cooked to perfection. For dessert we enjoyed an fantastic creme brulee. After having dinner there earlier in the week, we came back for seconds! It just keeps on getting better and better! We had several appetizers; the red shrimp and crab appetizer was spectacular, as was the calamari. Then we had the caprese salad and house salad. Tasty and a good portion. For our entrees, we had the grouper with crab, the petite filet and the veal with crab and bernaisse sauce. Everything was delicious; especially the filet was perfectly cooked! Dessert included fruit with cream; cannoli and chocolate mousse cake. We had a Sauvignon Blanc that was perfectly chilled and tasty. The best however was the staff! My wife and I noticed this place and looking at the menu we decided to make reservations for our anniversary. We arrived and the owner led us to our table. He went over the wine list with us. He recommended us a great bottle of Cade Cab. For a starter we shared shrimp and crab cocktail. It had 3 red shrimp and lumps of crab. It had a spicy cocktail sauce and melted butter. The my wife had a wedge salad and I had a ceasar. They were as expected and came out quick. Then the entrees came. My wife had blue crab encrusted trigger fish and I had a Ribeye. The fish looked to be a Risotto with cooked carrots. It was cooked right but wasn't really memorable. I had the Ribeye. It was cooked perfect on a plate of mashed potato and carrots. The steak had great flavor, but it was not a good quality steak. It was really hard to cut. The service was just ok. I guess my expectations were placed high. When I looked at the menu and prices I expected a fine dining experience and it fell short. The ambiance, quality and service didn't live up to the price and expectation. read more
