Went into Dinning room to pick up food tonight ,was appalled at who I presume was the manager named Cindy was treating her young employee. The young lady she continued to bully and disparage was nothing but professional and continued to take my order while smiling not trying to show it was an uncomfortable situation. If this how Zaby's allows management to treat their young employees I don't know if I will ever return. it made me very uncomfortable and I was upset for the girl taking my order. My family likes the food for a quick meal but I can't condone that kind of behavior an adult bullying a child. Shame on you Zaby's for employing a woman like that. Hit the drive thru up today and order two traditional wing combos. Both orders the wing sizes were small. I swear I thought some quail wings were slipped in there. Idk what happened but when Pizza Hut serves bigger wings and are more consistent there's a problem. Quality and size could be a lot better for the price. read more

Consistently great! I always get the fingerz tossed in tongue torch. I don't even need fries with them. They are filling and so so good. They were freshly cooked with plenty of sauce on them! Dipping them in the ranch that comes with them keeps them cool enough to eat! I recommend this location. It seemed out of the way but worth it! read more

This is Probably my favorite place for chicken fingers, chicken wings an salads. Not to mention the service is always great and the restaurant is always very clean. The sauce they have for the fingers is amazing it's so addicting you even eat it with your fries. I had the fingers and fries which were cooked perfectly and very fresh. My husband had the wings and fries which were also cooked perfect and the flavor was great. It's very fast and very consistent. The chicken sandwiches are also great as I have tried them before. But make sure you have lots of napkins as they are very messy LOL. I highly recommend this place if you love chicken fingers because you can't go wrong read more

My sister used to own some Zaxby's restaurants and since we don't have them out west, I like to eat at least one when we are in the Southeast. The chicken and Zax sauce are always great. The ambiance was a little odd but I can attribute that to COVID protocols that we're all trying to figure out. read more

For fast food, I'm surprised this place isn't busier. I guess it's cause it's off a main rd. The service is always very nice! Taz was really friendly and doublechecked and made sure we had all our sauces to go with our tenders order. This place has excellent salads too! I really wish Zaxby's would bring back the Zen salad though! The chips are amazing here! Like shockingly good! Who would've thought you can get homemade chips from Zaxby's? Also, kids eat free on Tuesday with any 2 adult meal purchase! I had no idea when we rolled up on a Tuesday and had to ask if they got to total right. We like the Palm Coast Zaxby's. The drive-thru people are always pleasant and efficient. The Cobb Salad with Crispy Chicken is one of our favorites. It is plentiful and two of us usually share. We also like the new Chicken Bacon Ranch Fries, very tasty! If I had any suggestion, it would be to add a thousand island or French dressing to the list of dressing options. Not everyone likes ranch or a vinaigrette. The egg rolls are a nice addition to the menu as well as the shrimp. Sometimes it's nice to just have a small snack and a drink when running errands. So...we had heard so many good things about Zaxby's. For example, it was supposed to be right up there with Chick-Fil-A. Thus we all agreed that if we were in Zaxby's country and it was dinner time, we would seek out one. In fact, we ended up eating a later dinner in order to try one. Our daughter found this one and we agreed to give it a try. We were here around 7:30 p.m. on a Tuesday night and the place was a zoo---a line waiting to order and people standing a around waiting for their food. As a result, the place had a chaotic feel to it. We finally got to place our order and were given soda cups. I went to put ice in my cup and only a tiny bit came out. Someone said something to the staff and an employee came out with a cooler filled with ice. This really put off our daughter. To give some perspective, our daughter is a restaurant manager (Note to Yelp: She does NOT work for Zaxby's.) and is very quick to pick up on things that concern her when we go to restaurants. Our food was finally ready---and we were all underwhelmed. I tried the traditional wings with wimpy sauce. This menu item comes with fries, ranch dressing and celery. After hearing what others said about their food, I think that I ordered the best thing. The wings weren't bad at all and the wimpy sauce had good flavor. Our daughter had the house "zalad" with fried chicken, which had her longing for Chick-Fil-A. My husband was disappointed with his chicken sandwich. Our son-in-law wasn't exactly raving about his dinner. The kids ate everything they ordered and had no complaints. There was one thing that did amuse us --- the signs on the bathroom doors said "Roosters" and "Hens". That said, I have to say that the bathrooms were kept clean. The whole highlight of this dinner stop was that one of the trees in the parking lot had some Spanish Moss on it, which was a chance to teach something to the kids. Our daughter took it a step further and grabbed some off the tree so that we could all look at it closely and feel it. That's what left the best impression---not the food but the Spanish Moss on the tree. Well...we don't regret stopping in for a meal because if we didn't, we would always wonder if we missed something good. Maybe we hit the place at a bad time. Maybe there are other Zaxby's that are far better. First impressions are lasting ones and we all agreed we would give Zaxby's a pass in the future. read more

The food was typical Zaxby's food, which is still better than most fast food restaurants. The restaurant was clean. A little off the beaten path if you're traveling. The lady that appeared to be the manager was great. However, a young lady taking orders at the counter named Trinity was severely lacking as she lazily took our order while layer her head on her hand while resting her elbow on the cookie display case then wiped her nose with her bare hand right before pulling our drinks cup out with the same hand to give to us. I really like the food. However, it's their very poor customer service that keeps me from ever going back. I called my order in ahead of time. I used the Zaxby's app on my phone which was simple enough. The app displayed a message after the order was completed. It said, "No need to wait in line. Just go to the online pick-up area to receive your order." So, that's what I did. I showed a girl behind the counter my phone and said: "I'm picking up an online order." She acknowledged me and the two of us stood there and watched while the Manager completely ignored me. He waited on 5 other customers who were in line placing orders. Very Rude!! When he was completely finished with all the people in line. He asked if he could help me. I showed him the phone message on the Zaxby order app that said "No need to wait in line" and asked, "Why am I waiting in line?" He had no answer. He handed me an 800 # to call to complain. First time here and brought my son with me. We shared a 10 piece chicken fingerz ($10.19) which comes w 2 sauces (tried the Zax sauce (not for me) & the honey mustard). Also ordered a side of fries ($1.99), 2 small drinks ($3.78) & spicy fried mushrooms ($3.79). The fingerz are good, not dry and cooked well. Didn't like the Zac sauce so glad I mentioned wanting honey mustard bc I would have rcvd 2 Zac Sauces. I did one of ea to try. Fries are the crinkle ones & they sprinkle season salt on them. The spicy fried mushrooms were not spicy at all! Greasy as well. They give you a veggie sauce (it's the same sauce as Outback's for the bloomin onion). The mushrooms are sliced vs having a big whole one. *I prefer the whole mushrooms. Sweet tea was good. Not overly sweet like McDs (if you need a scale to judge by & btw I love Mcds tea!) Place was clean, bathrooms included. Staff were friendly. It's not a five or a four for me bc it's pricey and the chicken is nothing to write about. My review is meant to commend Dave who works as Manager at the Zaxby's located in Palm Coast, FL. My husband and I placed our order on Zaxby's web site, paid for it by credit card and waited the 15 min for our order to be finished. But when we got to the drive-up window the cashier questioned our order. It's all paid for, I told him and showed the courteous fellow the order details visible on my cellphone. Yes, he said, he could see it. Must be a computer mistake somewhere along the way. He needed the manager and asked us to pull forward. As we waited for the manager I reviewed our order. Order details, check. Order completed, check. Time of order, yes, yes visible. Order paid, check. Almost immediately Dave came right out and explained that our order couldn't be found. Could he see my cellphone for the order details and they would prepare it for us without delay. He scanned our order and very kindly, very patiently said he saw the problem. Let's just start off and say everyone in this establishment was so nice. Very friendly faces were seen all around. It was my first time trying Zaxbys so I wanted to try as much as I could. Definitely one of the better options - in my opinion - for a quick meal. We were heading down to Orlando & hadn't really eaten but weren't too hungry so we decided to share the chicken tender plate. It was just enough of a snack for us. The food was piping hot, the service was friendly. You can't really see Zaxby's from the street, but it's there. This 'hidden' location allows us to get in & out of the drive through quickly and get back on the road. I'll have to remember these guys are here next time I'm in need of a snack. read more

Suggest going to the Palm Coast Zaxby's ever. I have been there several probably 25 * since the first part of this year and doing delivery. I have not had one time where I could go through and get the order at the window every single time that I've been there I've had to wait on the side for over 5 minutes. I have had several times where I picked up the order and they didn't have the drinks and when I told them that there were drinks on the order they argued with me I would not give them with the order. The food is definitely not worth the price I have eaten Zaxby's a few times and it's really not that good it's highly overrated. They spent massive amounts of money to get famous people to get on their commercials and say to eat there but the food really is not worth the price that they charge and the wait to get the food. read more
