I've been waiting on my breakfast for 10 minutes and counting I have never had this happen at any Chick-fil-a in my life

I have gone to this new location 3x since opening. I am a big fan of this restaurant, I think the food is great and the price is comparable to other fast-food restaurants in the area. However, the service is extremely slow. There are usually four or five employees standing around in the drive-thru talking to other employees on their breaks sitting in the outside dining area. The drive-thru is extremely slow and when you get to the drive-thru window to pick up your food the girls there are just standing and gossiping and seem to be bothered that you have interrupted their conversation. I also think when building this establishment they should have kept the indoor seating. It does get cold outside along with the high winds the AV experiences. Their service and dining experience is subpar. Go to Palmdale its a better experience by far. read more

Customer service does not live up to the Chick-fil-A standard. I went a couple of weeks ago, I asked Dominique if I could pull forward to see the menu (there were no cars ahead or behind) she rolled her eyes sighed & motioned for me to drive forward. Her tone was rude and dismissive. I ordered my food as quickly as possible bc she was clearly annoyed to be taking orders. Find somewhere else. If I knew they were outdoor only, I would have gone somewhere else. If I knew I would have to hike around back to use the restroom, just to find out I had to hike back around front to ask for a code and then hike back around back, I would have gone somewhere else. Yo... everytime I come here it's some bullshit. I ordered a salad with dressing and the dressing not there. Ordered some nuggets with some sauce and the sauce wasn't there. At this point I should just return the meal because what's a salad without dressing and what's nuggets without sauce? And it's ALWAYS something up. Only reason for 4 stars is the lack of indoor seating and if you park at the rear of the location you must cross in front of the drive thru traffic to get to the walk up outdoor order window. At first it seemed strange the outdoor order window is outdoors especially in Lancaster where temps can get very cold or very hot. I'm guessing the thinking is that due to the temperature extremes most people will drive thru rather than get out of their car. The food was good and staff was friendly. It would be nice to have a walk up window at the rear of the building where there is a nice big shady outdoor seating area. read more

DO NOT GO TO THIS LOCATION!!!! My wife waited 20 minutes gets to the pick up window and they have no record of her order. My wife was in a hurry so she said forget it. My wife called our bank to see if they charged her and it came up a fraudulent charge which put a stop on all our ATM cards. We called the location and the Manager was rude and not helpful at all. So we have been dealing with trying to get a refund and it's costing us more money to get our new ATM cards. Go to the Palmdale location like everyone else is saying. HORRIBLE SERVICE read more

Driving thru town decided to stop by this location. Ordered two combos: 30 ps nuggets and a spicy sandwich. Did not receive my 30ps nuggets and my sauces. It wasn't crowded to say they were busy; just unacceptable and lazy of this location. Call the number on the receipt, they hung up on me 3x; ONLY option for a refund, is to be there in person or pick up my missed items, most likely the same food they missed sitting on the counter. Horrible service. I ordered 1 combo, a salad and 2 drinks. The worker forgot my 2 drinks and the dressing. So she gave attitude when I asked if she can please bring me my items. When I left and got home I noticed my fries weren't in the bag either. This location was too far for me to drive back to get my fries. Never going to this location again. read more

Food is good but I don't get why I have to wait 7-12 minutes for two drinks for curbside pick-up just to end up waiting 20 minutes then having go to the pick-up window just to get them and they were already made just sitting on the counter. One thing I expect when I come to a Chik-Fil-A is top tier quality customer service. This location is nothing like that. It seems to be ran by kids. There was only one cashier that was partially attentive but when he read back our order it was incorrect. I normally love chick fil a but this is the first time I had to leave. I was waiting about 15 min with no sign of the line moving faster. They didn't even open another register. I would have probably waited 1 hour or more just to order and get my food. By the way, the design looks amazing from outside but what the hell, everything is to dine outside. This Ave K and 15th West location is notorious for screwing up! From the poor customer service, the bad attitudes and treatment they give if you ask for an item to be remade properly, to the high frequency of order discrepancies, to the ridiculously slow service, to the non fresh food, this location is less like the typical Chick-Fil-A we all know and love and more like a second hand Popeyes! I've never had anything bad to say about Chick-fil-A's customer service until this new one open they're not friendly and I come here often and it just seems like I try to give employees a chance to maybe shoW politeness every time I come, and it just seems like they're just permanently the way they are lol. They look irritated. If you don't tell them your order fast enough, I wouldn't make a review if it was based off of one employee but it's several that I've seen here and they act the same way I didn't reach the menu area when I was going through the drive-through and I told the employer that was waiting for my order if I could wait so that I could see the menu also because she didn't have one on her and she said I guess or I could just kind of tell you and I told her I would prefer to see the menu so I could visually see I just thought it was rude and I felt like she was rushing me. Whatever. May I just add what I noticed AT OTHER Chick-fil-As is that the workers look very presentable and ready to work this is the first Chick-fil-A. Be advise coming to this Chick-fil-A location. I am a big Chick-fil-A fan I love the service and we usually go to Palmdale because that's the only Chick-fil-A close to us at the time. We went to the drive-through and ordered our food which is kids meal two of them substitute with fruits instead of the waffle fries as well as yogurt parfait with granola and some salad and spicy chicken sandwich. They gave us the order and they almost forgot our drinks which I had to remind them. Keep in mind we live an hour away from Lancaster Palmdale area, 30 minutes into our drive my daughter was asking if she can have her fruit that came with the kids meal I said go ahead and go get it and she said that there is no fruit in the bag so I had to stop at the side of the road to check. After checking there is no fruits or yogurt granola. We had to turn around and go back to Chick-fil-A Avenue K location. As soon as I get there there is no one to help me the lines were so long and I didn't want to have to go through the drive-through again. So what I did I walk through the drive-through window and showed my receipt to this lady and told her that some of our items are missing in this bag. She told me to go to the waiting area and she'll bring the missing orders to me, keep in mind there is no apology from the worker whatsoever at this point. when she walked over to hand me my missing orders she then proceeded to tell me that next time I shouldn't be walking at the drive-through window and that I need to go through the line and wait for somebody to help me with a very condescending voice and attitude so then I tell her do not worry I will not come back here again. Not sure what's happening with customer service but this is not Chick-fil-A. I'm sorry but I know that everybody makes mistakes and I'm OK with that and usually someone will be very apologetic when mistakes happened. it's OK if they didn't apologize if they paid for the meal. I distinctly remember I paid for that meal and expected all my orders to be in there because I paid for them. So this chick fe la absolutely 100 percent doesn't care anything about customer satisfaction what so ever there inventory manager can't even keep there inventory in stock one day there out of sauce then there out of cups then there out of grilled chicken GRILLED CHICKEN THE THING THEY SERVE 50 % of. I have never got my order right here and I've complained to about everyone that works there and they don't care they just continue the same business practices. Worst service ever need to fire the entire staff their all lazy and young minded and are worried about far more other things then the job and the care of someone elses food. This Chick fil A is just terrible and Ive been trying to ignore it but first they continuously mess up my order then proceed to get mad when I hold up the line to assure my self that everything I ordered is in fact in my bag. So today and the day prior I had the same problem I get their at 10:25 Am we all know their breakfast stops being served at 10:30. So I'm rushing to get my order in they just like to take their sweet time to get to you when the line is no where near long enough for how slow the service is. thats just how they prefer to work I guess. So I arrived and I'm waiting to place my order the first lady says to me exactly at 10:30 you can't place an order for breakfast it's over. I'm dumbfounded due to her dragging her feet to get to me so that I'm able to place my order I disregard her fire to the time and ask another employee would they mind getting me some breakfast samples mind you at this time it's around 10:35 he leaves finally gets back to me around 10:42 he's now saying they threw all the breakfast out and would I like lunch this is the second day this happens and this type of service only happens at this terrible location with the terrible workers just drove to palmdale it will be worth it and the food is fresh and the customer service is impeccable compared to the Lancaster location read more

I hate to pile on to the other bad reviews of this location, but something is amiss here. My standard order is two chicken sandwiches, 2 kale sides, two ice teas. Upon approaching the drive through line from 15th St, the road is blocked with stanchions and you have to guess whether to turn left or right. Right looks more likely as it gets you closer to the line, but you would be wrong! If you turn right, you will be taken down a parking row with no exit or anywhere to turn around. So turn left, and you will pass a looong row of cars, with an opportunity at the end to turn onto the next row coming back toward where you just came from, and the drive through line. There are plenty of people standing around waiting to take your order, but few orders to take! (For Chic Fil A fans such as myself, I suspect they all went to the Palmdale location) As for the food: sandwich way too salty. The Kale side was not fresh, and did not even fill half of the container. The unsweetened ice tea was fine. All of this for only $12.15 plus tax each! Twenty six bucks for two not very good meals. We just had a nice sit down lunch at Don Gus in Lancaster for the same price! At any rate, after 3 attempts at the new Lancaster Chick Fil A startup, YOU'RE OUT!!"
