I'll give the food a 4 star but the service a 1. After ordering via my app I drive 15 minutes to pick it up. They didn't include my sandwiches with the order - but I didn't notice til I got home. I called and the rudest woman answered and told me to come back and pick it up today (first of course insinuating I was lying)- they won't help me with anything after today. I asked if they could just credit my account and of course it was a no. Either come get the sandwiches or too bad. I get it. People screw up and when McDonald's screw up they take your name and get you your items at a later time. I will start going to Freehold- because of your rudeness over the phone. This Chick-fil-A is by far the worst. "Manager" Bill did not give me the service I've grown to love at Chick-fil-A. I arrived at the drive through with no line and waited 5 minutes for someone to take my order. Once they did they were out of a main item I always order. I went here for the first time today. My family loves it here so they dragged me along. The food was pretty decent for fast food and they have waffle fries instead of the standard French cut, which were excellent. I was pleasantly surprised with, not only the food, but the cleanliness of the restaurant. They also have a play area for kids which was hopping while I was there. Happy, smiling kids are always a joy. In all I would highly recommend stopping in if the mood strikes you. read more

After being in a hurry yesterday during breakfast hours I ordered a chicken biscuit, previously one of my favorite morning snacks. I say previously because I saved one of them for this morning and while eating it there was a HAIR in the biscuit! I called the manager today May 24th 2019 and told him about it and asked for a resolution. He rudely said that there's nothing that he would be willing to do to fix it because I "couldn't prove that I made a purchase the day before." I was blown away and gave him two other ways to resolve the issue that included simply replacing the chicken biscuit with a voucher or a credit for the same value.. this seemed extremely fair in my eyes. He said no and hopped off the phone. I can't believe how back this customer service is. As a franchise owner I would recommend replacing this manager with someone that understands the value of having happy customers. So very disappointed. I also want to add that I told him the exact time and order that I bought so he could look it up, but he wasn't willing to. read more

My first "fast food" review. I've always avoided these, but I can't help it this time. So, I'm just going to say it: I love Chick-Fil-A! I'm not even going to address the drama that surrounded the restaurant chain last summer. That's pointless now. I come here specifically for the food and appreciate the service, which is always friendly and helpful. Love chick fil a and this location is the closest to me and used to be amazing. Ever since covid the lines are insane, the inside has not opened up yet? only location i know of to not do so, they cancelled taking online orders which has caused the drive thru line to take a minimum of 40 minutes no matter what day or time you go. You download the app and try and it says to order and get in the drive thru line? What is the point of ordering online then lol. the staff is great as is the food but whoever is running this specific chick fil a is driving it into a hole. Would suggest going out of your way to Freehold Mall location or Brick. Avoid this one unless you want to wait in a line. read more

Hate to do it but have to review a fast food chain that deserves 5 stars in its class. Most fresh and close to organic, low-processed fast-food that was served by extremely conscientious, friendly and caring staff. For ten bucks I fed myself and two 10 year old girls. Staff came around asking to take finished trays and garbage AND ask if you want free drink refills. Fresh, real lemonade too. Add that they close on Sundays like back in the day. Kudos all around. I am of two minds about Chick-Fil-A. I love the food, but I feel tremendous guilt about eating it because I know some of that money spent is going to support intolerance. Just Google "Chick-Fil-A" and "god", and you can research for yourself the things I am referring to. Every Chick-Fil-A in the universe is closed on Sunday, which suddenly makes sense when you realize what's going on behind the scenes. But it's what's upfront that forces me to compromise my principles when I happen to be driving by while they're open, which fortunately isn't very often. Whether it's breakfast time, lunch, or dinner, I can't seem to help myself. There are a number of excellent choices on the menu in the morning. I am particularly fond of the Breakfast Burritos, available with either sausage or chicken. My preferred way to enjoy them is to order a side of hash browns - really little flat tater tots - break them up inside the tortilla, and slather with hot sauce before rewrapping them. There is a Chicken, Egg & Cheese on a Bagel that I also enjoy, though I wish they'd ditch the multi-grain bagel for a plain one. It can have a bit of a funky aftertaste. And of course, Chicken on a Biscuit is great way to start the day, too. Everything is always made fresh to order, so your food is always piping hot. The basic Chick-Fil-A sandwich may not sound very appealing, but it is artistry through simplicity. Fried chicken, buttered hamburger bun, pickle chips. Fantastic. If you like a little more subtance to your sandwich, you can go deluxe, adding lettuce, tomato, and american cheese. You can get mayo or catsup on the side. Bacon is also an option, and we all know what happens when you add bacon to a thing: it becomes exponentially more awesome, proportionate to the amount of bacon added. Chick-Fil-A does not skimp on the bacon. At least this one doesn't. This location can be a bit hard to find, being hidden in a parking lot that is significantly lower than the road it's next to, immediately after a major intersection. Look for the jovial fellow in the cow suit. He will not steer you wrong. Ha. No pun intended. read more

Been coming here since the day it opened, as I live two blocks from it. I've met up with so many friends, been to countless parties, visited several friends at work all at this restaurant. The staff is phenomenal when eating in and even at the drive thru. Because I have friends that work there, I don't waste much time at the drive thru window ("six polynesian sauces and a mayo, please!") Food is great and the cow is such a good sport. ;) read more

Loved Chick-fil-a since i was a teenager. The Original Chicken Sandwich with waffle fries is the way to go. They have plenty on the menu. Spicy chicken sandwiches to chicken wraps to salads. They also offer salads with chicken 3 types grilled,asian and cobb. Hand spun milkshakes perk my ears up andbthey have something new frosted lemonade. They offer Coke products if your in the mood for soda. Not priced badly at all for the quality of food they put out. Great food, Great place hands down!!!! read more

I used the app for curb side pick up. I live 15 minutes from the Howell nj location. I arrived approx 30 minutes after ordering there was about 20 cars waiting for curb side pickup it took them 1 hour and 20 minutes to get our order that was already paid for in the app. . We called customer service to just get the runaround must wait for the store to contact us..ok. it took them 3 days to send a generic email message saying it was due to the virus....yeah ok we watched cars come and go for a hour so the email was just a excuse for piss poor customer service... read more

There's nothing super special about CFA. But, it's decent fast food to me. It gets a 4/5 because the waffle fries are good and the deluxe chicken sandwich was hot and juicy. The bread is just like any other fast food bread. But, I appreciated the freshness of the tomatoes and lettuce. read more

Unfortunately, I would love to say this is a great place but it's not. The food is good but service the last few years is horrendous. The drive thru no matter the time is always slow and packed. It is just as bad if you go inside. I am not sure about most people but this is a fast food restaurant it takes way to long to get your food. The servers try to be nice but just way way to slow. Stopped here on my way home from work to grab dinner. I used to go here a few times a year, and it was always good, clean and friendly. Tonight was a different experience. The place was filthy dirty, and flies EVERYWHERE! I've heard it's under new ownership/management and it shows. I'll go the extra distance and head to the Freehold mall location. What a shame, so sad to see it go downhill so fast. I asked to speak to a manager, but none was present. Staff seemed frightened by my request, kind of sad that they had no backup and seemed "scared" by my request. Went to the Freehold location, and it was clean, a manager present, and my meal was hot and delicious! After seeing other reviews of Howell, dont think it will be around long read more

As a general rule, I don't eat fast food. My exception is Chick-Fil-A. This store has given me great service. I would recommend eating it on premise. Free refills and sandwiches don't get soft after sitting in the bag. Managers can be cranky, at least a couple years ago when I encountered one. read more

We visited the Howell Chik-Fil-A today and tried the classic chicken sandwich with the waffle fries and sweet tea. The chicken was very crispy and juicy. I also tried the Buffalo and Polynesian sauces which were a great accompaniment to the waffle fries. While waiting on line at the drive thru there was a cow that encouraged us to buy overpriced girl scout cookies and to eat more chicken. I think he was just saying that so we wouldn't get hamburgers for lunch. read more

It seems crazy to review a fast food place, but the fact is, Chick-Fil-A has FAR better customer service than most "legitimate" restaurants I've been to. No joke - their staff is terrific. I don't know who does their customer service training, but you have never seen teenagers who are so polite and helpful. Additionally, the restaurant and play area are always clean - more than I can say for other establishments in the fast food category. But what I really love about Chick-Fil-A, is how community oriented they are. From flea markets and cruz-nites on the weekends, to daddy-daughter date nights (complete with complimentary flowers and keepsake photos), this place has really connected itself to the area. If you are going to go the fast food route, you will not find a better choice than Chick-Fil-A. read more

tough review, food I gave a 4 star, service is zero. I used to go twice a month but my order is never right. Now I go once every 3 months to see if service better. I went tonight for curbside pickup due to lock down, I work 5 minutes from the mall. I waited 45 minutes and order never came out , they had dozens sitting on a large table no order or system, no one in charge except hard working high school girls who are trying to do a good job. I totally blame the employer and corporation not to have any supervision or someone in charge. This is the last time I will ever visit this location. I realize we are in extraordinary times but I knew going there service is always terrible but I wanted to give them a chance. I wish I had taken a photo of the setup. I can't believe I'm giving a fast food restaurant more than three stars. I used to eat chik-Fil-a once a week but I had to tone it down because too much chicken isn't good for you (really?). The food is always good but the real plus is the service. You have kids working there making minimum wage calling you "sir" and "my pleasure" like I'm a god damn king.
