I love Chick-fil-a but this location is terrible & employee in drive-thru was rude. My hubbys chicken sandwich was the worst he's ever had. See pic to see how thin the piece of chicken was! Would not stop at this location again! Also, the turning radius for drive-thru was extremely tight. Not good for a Ram Big Horn truck. This location needs a physical renovation as well as more training for employees and food quality control.

When you try to order a frosted soda and they won't do it but the receipt is promoting ordering a frosted drink... how misleading!!!! Also I ordered a large fruit cup. Bad customer service

Since this is a chained fast food restaurant, I am expecting the food to be on par with other locations and I am judging merely on the service and the environment. Based my experience with chick-fil-a, the food typically is within the four star range and that's my basis for rating. So the restaurant itself is relatively clean and crowded on Saturday during lunch hours. The lines are long and the cashiers are reasonably efficient. The floor is kind of messy but it's tolerable. I ordered a chick-fil-a deluxe sandwich meal set with a side salad and lemonade. The food itself is business as usual, except the cashier got my order wrong. Instead of chick-fil-a deluxe sandwich I ordered, she gave me a spicy deluxe. So that's where the -1 star came from. 3 stars.

Even though they are really busy around lunch time, they stay organized! Always super friendly and they move the line quickly.

I was worried about finding parking, but there was plenty around back and signs to get you where you need to be. I was concerned about the price at first, expecting the portions to be small... they were not, they were plentiful. (pics attached, and this was after I already started snacking) I got the lunch special with bone in Sweet Thai Coconut Chili and 8 boneless Zesty Garlic Parm. They were both outstanding. Flavor was on point for both. Server was fast, polite, and knew her stuff. Food came out the back much faster than I expected. I got the chicken sandwich it's not the same and I'm devastated. It used to be the best fried chicken sandwhich in Durham. Now it's not worth the parking and walking up the hill. It's two pre breaded and fried chicken strips now. I miss the hand breaded fried sandwich it was amazing. The fries are the same they're waffle fried crisp. EVERYTHING IS MADE FRESH! The fudge brownies even aren't what they used to be. They're still excellent but something changed. I'm disappointed! I'd rather you guys raise your prices than lower your quality. However I realize you're catering to college students not my middle class middle age self. Don't know if it's worth the parking to come back again.

So…read moresince I couldn't get a reservation on my birthday to the place I originally wanted to go, we decided to come here. There is plenty of parking on the backside of the building, paid parking out front, and be careful not to park in the apartment spaces on the side...they sounded pretty serious about towing. I had made a reservation but it was probably unnecessary as it was pretty empty when we arrived (it was about 5pm on a Saturday.) The waitress brought a bottle of water to the table and took our drink order. And I know that this place is literally call it's a Southern thing but can I mention how much I dislike drinking out of mason jars? I ordered the chicken n biscuits, my husband got the country hamburger steak plate, my BiL got wings, and my SiL got the crabcakes. We also orders charred jalapeno & sweet corn hushpuppies and frickles as an appetizer. I was VERY excited about my food. Y'all...the only thing that impressed me were the Frickles. Everything else was distinctly underwhelming. I also ordered Blackberry Betta Have My Money which was not that great. My SiL ordered a espresso martini that they said didn't come from a mix but she said it tasted like it was. The bathrooms were very clean. The decor and the vibe were great. Cute even. I really enjoyed that part of it. After dropping off our food, we never saw our waitress again unless we flagged her down for drink refills. It was especially frustrating since there was automatic gratuity added. And since the place wasn't that busy, it felt like she didn't feel the need to earn her automatic tip. Overall I was disappointed in my birthday dinner. I won't be coming back here.

Both were warm and flavorful. We had an abundance of pita bread to dip in the crap dip. The sauce with the frickles was fantastic. I ordered the Dr Pepper wings as my entree and they were fall of the bone tender. Something so different about smoked wings versus fried. I washed everything down with a Bull Durham beer and it was flavorful and a perfect pour. Parents got the smoked chicken and shrimp and grits. See the attached photos.

I came at 5:45 on a Monday (because no other places are open on Mondays!), and was one of maybe four me. In the place. The rest were moms with one or two (or more!) kids, some waiting for dad to join them after work. I ate in a covered patio that in a few months will be too hot to endure. But tonight, mid-March, it's a sunny delight. I ordered a smashburger and a Kingstown Negroni. Drae stirred my drink and out the order in, and it arrived with fries just minutes later. Juicy double patty burger, caramelized onions, cheese, salt & pepper fries. Fresh and very tasty. WiFi was fast, music was smooth but subdued. (Think Sade and Barry White dueling. Wish I wasn't alone!) Kids were everywhere, but very well-behaved and in explore mode, which I find adorable! There are outside areas covered in open or tarps, clear flexi-glass walled off areas, and true "indoor" places you can watch TV in. Everything from Top Gear to REN & Stimpy. A great way to spend an early dinner/very late lunch.

This place is great on a nice day. It's not somewhere I would typically seek out myself unless with friends (with kids) or hosting a small party (where there might be friends (with kids) attending.

This time, we found ourselves in the beautiful state of North Carolina, specifically Durham. I was in the area for a pop-up event, and after a successful day, my family and I decided to explore some local eateries. I had never been to Durham before, so it felt like the perfect opportunity to take it all in. We came across a nearby food hall in an amazing walkable area. There was even a festival happening across the street, which made the experience even better. Everyone was incredibly friendly and welcoming it honestly gave Mayberry vibes, like something straight out of The Andy Griffith Show. Naturally, we worked up an appetite and headed into the food hall, where we stumbled upon Patty Boy's. And if you know me, you know I'll never turn down a good burger. The menu had plenty of great options, but you already know my philosophy I like to keep it simple the first time. So, we ordered a junior cheeseburger with fries. Let me tell you... that burger did not disappoint. The patties were fresh, the cheese added the perfect extra flavor, and everything was made to order. We waited about ten minutes, but there were so many other spots to check out that the time flew by. Although we usually grab our food to go (especially with a two-hour drive ahead of us), we decided to eat in and I'm so glad we did. Hot and fresh was the way to go. The service was great, the food was even better, and it was the little touches that stood out. We even received a small rubber duck with our meal, which I thought was the coolest thing! I've had a lot of burgers in my day, but this one definitely ranks up there. I highly recommend this spot promise you won't be disappointed.

I got the pickle patty melt and loaded tots. The tots were amazing-fresh, well seasoned, and fresh toppings (cheese, bacon, and scallions). I did feel it was a super small portion size in relation to the price. I was traveling so I didn't get to eat my burger right away. I would say it didn't reheat well but could still tell the burger was well seasoned. I wish I would have enjoyed it fresh-no fault of the restaurant. I would definitely give it another try if I'm in the area.

Even at 1:30 am, they're friendly, quick and the food delicious! This place sets the mood in the same way Waffle House or any gas station bathroom does - classically janky....though I'll say it has had a facelift since we were last here. We went to another cookout when we touched down and left because it looked too nice and didn't have a wrong sided drive thru! As such, we came back down Nostalgias highway to our OG cookout on Hillsbrough! It was exactly what we wanted! The stand alone, dual drive thru (with walk up) set up of this place is nothing short of amazing. If you had to design a place, it might accidentally turn out like this and you'd just accept it, not realizing the brilliance that is passing food through a passenger window! Seriously, of through the drive thru on the left. The food is such a perfect example of southern burgers - it's like in-n-out that you want to come back to! Cheddar style, steak style, west style - don't matter, it's all boss level! You'd like a burger with sides of corn dog and walking taco? Got it - one of 55 shake options? Done - more hush puppies? On it! The loudspeakers have been improved upon - you used to just pretend you understood what was being said and accept what you received. Now, they repeat it back at least. Our kids scarfed it down so fast we literally went through and ordered a second time, 6 minutes later. Three burgers, nuggets, rings and the equivalent of three pints of ice cream can't be wrong! Aside from my children, I may not love a human child more than this burger joint. It's so good, any time, any days, double stamp it, touch blue make it true, no eraseys!
