I went today to try to redeem 4 of my first 100's thru dt with my friends & to begin with the people outside took everyone's order around our car except for ours. Once the young lady victoria got to our car she was super confused as to what we meant by 4 separate transactions and sent us to the umbrella. I really don't know why everyone goes crazy and loves this place. I come here only because my son likes the grilled chicken nuggets and their fruit cup. The food isn't great, their menu pretty much mimics Wendy's menu (which I also don't think is so great either), and their lines are astronomical!! They're longer than Cane's, and Cane's still gets through their line faster with only 2 people at the window, when Chick-Fil-A has 10 people!!! I waited in the line that was past The Habit, I ordered the same thing (chicken nuggets and a fruit cup), they forgot to charge the fruit cup and so I went inside, they made me stand in that huge astronomical line as well, I ordered JUST A FRUIT CUP, and I still waited for EVERYONEEEE in front of me to get their COOKED food instead of them just grabbing the fruit cup from their fridge, throwing it in the bag and handing it to me. Chick-fil-A - Mmm favorite sauce! - Fast Food Near Me - Downey, California

This was my first visit to a Chick-fil-a even though this location has been open for quite some time. I came here with my daughter to check out the PlayPlace since she needed to burn off some energy. We are vegetarians, so I had previously searched online to see what we could eat. I ordered a lemonade, waffle fries, and a fruit cup for my daughter and a southwestern salad "base" (which means no chicken and is cheaper) and a lemonade for myself. The waffle fries were alright. Nothing special. The fruit bowl was surprisingly high-quality with mandarin oranges, strawberries, and blueberries. The salad was delicious! I ordered it with the avocado lime dressing (what my online search had suggested) instead of the salsa ranch dressing that the cashier had recommended, and I found the avocado lime to be MUCH better. The lemonade is amazing. Thank goodness they have employees that regularly check in with you to see if there is anything you need because with the line to order being so long there would be no way I could get a refill. The customer service was hands down the best part of our experience. We had two ladies that regularly checked up on us, but the one who went above and beyond was Cynthia. Some boys were being mean to my daughter in the PlayPlace, and she was very upset. Cynthia came over, asked her what happened, and asked if she could refill her lemonade- if that would help make her feel better. She was very soothing to my daughter, and as she came back with my daughter's lemonade, she showed my daughter that she had also brought her two mints. She told my daughter that those mints were special for her because she was such a sweet girl, and that those other mean boys wouldn't be getting such a treat. This made my daughter smile. As we collected our things, Cynthia escorted us to the door, opened it, and wished us a nice day. The only reason I gave this location 4 stars is because there needs to be tables for adults in the kids area so they can properly supervise their children. There is a sign that says adult supervision is required, but Chick-fil-a is a restaurant- what are you supposed to do with your food while your kids are playing?? There are a few tables by the glass wall that looks into the PlayPlace, but that's it, and that's where I was sitting. But you can't hear if your child is crying, and you can't see all angles of the play area. Although my daughter had fun for the most part with regard to the actual equipment, I couldn't see her in the tunnel where the mean kids had trapped her, and I couldn't hear her crying. If I hadn't been checking on her while at the same time guarding our food and belongings OUTSIDE the PlayPlace, I wouldn't have known she was in trouble. It's a question of SAFETY versus CONVENIENCE/ACTUALLY EATING AT THE RESTAURANT. We probably won't be returning for this reason. If you don't have kids who want to play, you'll probably enjoy this place. Otherwise, you might find yourself in the same situation we did. If we do ever come here again, it'll be through the drive thru. read more

I've yet to see a day where I have a bad experience at a chick-fil-a! Service is amazing, food is just right and convenience is what I need. This location is near my house and I think one of the ladies that works there knows my kids names by heart... That is truly heartwarming... I go in with 2 kids and they always offer to get me a high chair, ask if I need anything, if I want water and even stop to talk to my kids you don't get this sort of attention everywhere... The Customer service was horrible.They took my order through the drive thru then when I was going to pay my order they said I never made a order. There is no words on how good the food is here. You can tell by the look and taste if this chicken that it is real chicken. The worker are very nice here and are almost never rude the times I have came here and are there if you need anything. Another thing is that they give you the food very fast the longest I have waited of my food was about 15 minutes, or less. This place is delicious and worth every penny. I love chick fil a and this is the closest one to me and so i always come to this location, I've always been attended right, always had great customer service, but this time did it for me literally worst Chick fil a service, this cashier rosanna that attended me needs to learn how to attend people! Horrible customer service, she looked like she was out of it, in la la land of something. I repeated my order 10x times and she still gets it wrong. I asked for 2 large meals and she charges me for 2 large drinks, 1 large fries and 1 regular size like what makes you think i want a small fries when i asked for 2 large sizes and then her co worker brings me the food as I'm paying with my debit card and i told him i got 2 large and he's like she only charged you medium, would you like pay extra for the large, like no I'm not about to pay a few more cents with my card so they don't even consider giving me a complimentary upgrade for her mess up. So whatever that happens and as she's handing us our drinks 2 out of the 3 drinks we got she gets them wrong when i repeatedly say what i wanted right before she gave it to us!!! Can never go wrong here. The chicken is sooooo good and they have so many dipping sauces to chose from. Their frosted coffee is to die for! I'm lactose intolerant so I know the risk in drinking it since it's milk based but it's so worth it.
