Was at the Danbury Mall after Christmas and the hubby was craving Chick-fil-a. I am usually not a big fan but went along. We get there and there's a huge line like 25 people. What mostly impressed me how the workers managed the crowd. There were at least 3 people taking orders on the line and by the time you got to the counter, the food was packed and ready to go. It was so fast. My spicy chicken sandwich and waffle fries were delicious. Nice and hot and crispy. The pickles in the sandwich were surprisingly good. So I might have to take a break from this location. The staff is super friendly and now that the mall food court has only 6 choices chick fil a is swamped. This time the spicy chicken sandwich tasted less fresh and was a bit cold. The chicken was tough as well. I still ate it. There were less fries in my large fries order than usual. The chicken strips were good but not as warm as unusual. Good quality has gone down here. Not sure if it's chain wide or just this location. Came From upstate New York and heard of Chick-Fil-A but first one I ever saw so decided to try it. Service was a bit slow they take orders fast but waited for almost 10 minutes for 10 nuggets fries and a peach shake and an ice coffee. Nuggets were over breaded and rubbery, waffle fries were on the cold side of warm no where close to hat, peach shake tasted like vanilla with pieces of frozen peaches in it instead of fresh peaches. This is the best Chick Fil A restaurant that I have ever eaten at. The chocolate shakes here are some of the best out there. Every single one is made up to perfection. Additionally, the service here is very fast, friendly, and willing to give you some extra condiments if you ask. The food was great and just like my other experiences. I appreciate how you always know what you are going to get. The food was hot the chicken was crispy and the bread was soft and delicious. I got the spicy chicken deluxe combo with fries and a lemonade. Their lemonade is homemade so it's a must have for me when I come. My husband got the cherry Coke which is also good. The line can be long but they did have a good number of cashier's so they move you through fast. Here's the deal... I was skeptical because this location is inside the Danbury Fair Mall and some of the other eatery options are not the best. However, I believe it's a company standard across the board to give excellent customer service because I've never had an issue here. I work in the plaza next to the mall and we order through Uber eats, DoorDash, Postmates, etc. Chick-fil-a is an option we like to get once in a while depending on our mood and current rotation schedule. This is second to none and our favorite thing to order on DoorDash because they have NEVER missed anything on our orders. Our order is always right and perfect. I'm generally not too much of a fan of Chick-Fil-A because I have no Chick-Fil-A close enough to me to really care about the brand. However, although I've gone out of my state to get to your Bloomington location and found myself heading to the Danbury Mall, after seeing the mess of long line (and only forgetting just how quick the response is with the mobile app until later) when I got off the escalator (and the order placer person's kiosk location standing just there), I really totally forgot about Chick-Fil-A. Although I went to Nathans for supper (right next door inside your mall) because they didn't have such a long line, when I wanted something else after I was done, my brother mentioned that there were good cookies - if I was to order through the app. I had the app on my phone, and although I craved another deserty item (your brownies), I actually had the ambition to order. I looked over and saw the line almost clearing, and put in the order for two brownies (not just the one, but so I didn't look dumb ordering just one - had to get two). Although the app was rather low in terms of order status information - only alerting me when the order was finished being prepared - I was able to communicate just how close I was - but being directly in back of the planter with th long table - I don't think really mattered too much. I utilized the buttons that I had present to let them know, and with other orders they were also dealing with (some apparently were other mobile orders), I did have to wait several minutes for mine - and I was okay with that. The brownies were lukewarm, but were well packed in two individual wrappers. I expected them to be somewhat warm, so I don't know what went on - but careful to anticipate a better arrival time so I neither have to wait or so that my products don't get cold just waiting. I remain skeptical that Chick-Fil-A will become a go-to spot, if there was ever one closer to me in Northern Dutchess Co., New York State (where I live). read more

What can I say about Chic Fila that everyone doesn't already know. It's the GOAT. I've always been impressed with their consistent level of service and quality and this location was no different. While I don't eat from here anymore (change in dietary restrictions), when I did order from here my go to was the spicy chicken sandwich. Beautifully cooked chicken breast with a great level of spice, further accentuated by the melty pepper jack cheese. Crisp pickles complimenting the sandwich perfectly, paired wonderfully with either ranch or chic fila sauce. I still go here with my brothers (who remain ardent fans to this day) and the quality is as great as it was a few years ago. Chic Fila, thank you for gracing my little town with your presence. Let me just reiterate: I'm not usually a fan of fast food. However, I'll make exceptions if I'm either A. Starving, or B. Having Chick-Fil-A withdrawals. So now that we're clear, I will go ahead and begin recommending this place to everyone I know that digs fast food. I've been to the Brookfield location and there's nothing wrong with it. Yeah sure it can get busy, but it's still a new establishment and that's what happens. I've never physically eaten at the one in the mall and have just gotten take-out the one other time I stopped by, so this is a new experience. I ordered the spicy chicken deluxe sandwich with bacon, waffle fries, and a drink. The cashier was super polite and directed me where I needed to be to pick my food up. My other friend who was with me got his food before I did and didn't receive a straw on his tray for his drink. The manager walked over and gave him a straw without even asking, smiled, and thanked him for eating at Chick-Fil-A. I was impressed, especially with the manager himself noticing it. The closest seat we found was way over in between the railing and the play place for kids. We dug in and everything was delicious. Within about 10 minutes, one of the Chick-Fil-A employees came over from across the mall and asked us how our food was and if we needed anything else including refills. This is a public mall and I've eaten here on numerous occasions while being employed here back in the day. I've never ONCE had someone from any food joint come over and ask how my food was. Unbelievable customer service for a fast food restaurant. Everyone else in the food court better take notes, Chick-Fil-A is going to start taking over. While waiting in line the women came over with the tablet to take my order and told me to give my name at the register. I should start out by saying that while I've been to this location many times, I haven't been to any others. I've tried a bunch of menu items, but I'm pretty stuck on the southwest salad right now. Today I went online and placed a catering order for my son's 17th birthday. After I ordered I called the restaurant to confirm.. and the manager picked right up, he had a record of my order immediately and was very reassuring that they would have the order ready and complete when I needed it. I was taken back by how accommodating he was. Right before we picked up I called and added waffle fries to the order. The manager, again, was very helpful and complied immediately.
