This McDonalds was fantastic!! I arrived with a party of three and we decided to stop here on a road trip. We ordered: quarter pounder with bacon, filet o fish, spicy deluxe mccrispy, mcchicken, and fries. I don't really order their beef but was pleasantly surprised by the quarter pounder. The sandwiches here were picture perfect, if you take a look at my burger it could have been camera-ready for a commercial. Upon entering there were some kiosks available to order from. I prefer ordering from a tablet because I can get indecisive. The tables were clean and many booths were available. They even delivered the food to us as we indicated dine-in. I haven't had that experience at my local McDonald's in a while so my party and I were pleasantly surprised. We had a great time! read more

We go to this McDonald's from time to time and it's okay. We often eat in because we don't want the car to smell like McDonald's if we carry it home and also, Mickey D's food doesn't really travel well...it's best hot off the griddle. In any event, sometimes it's a little slow but it's consistently clean and the people who work there are nice. Although not specific to this location, I don't like using their app to order ahead because they won't let you start the order until you're there, so if you're trying to order ahead to avoid waiting in line, you're out of luck. I am not aware of any way to override that. In any event, this is a decent location. read more

I went to mcdonalds after a long day and my chicken nuggets are stale im disappointed in you mcdonalds.

I don't know what came over me. I just had to have a Mac-n-Don's Supper Club hamburger. HAD TO. Now I have. It was fine, though ... not sure there were onions in there. At least I don't remember any. I don't go there for fries, but they were fine. I just remember a burger and fries being a little bit better, is all. So ... two stars. Except my wife got a four-piece chicken Happy Meal. The chicken was inedibly dry and tasteless. The creamy ranch dressing made it taste inedibly dry, tasteless, and greasy. The apple juice was even more inoffensive than apple juice from the store - no horrible polarizing apple flavor in there, just sugar and water. I dunno. I just need someone to hear this. Last week I ordered a milkco shake, half vanilla half chocolate. The girl didn't know what I meant. She asked another girl, who asked another girl. They decided to ask me "no whip cream". I repeated my order and the girl said "oh okay". I got out to my car and it was a strawberry shake. This week I went in and made the same request. I was told "no". I asked flavors do they have. She said "vanilla, chocolate and strawberry. The machine only makes on flavor at time so I can't have a half and half. So I left. Our experience here was perfect. We stopped while enroute to an airshow and used the drive-through, which was fast and efficient. The staff was friendly and helped make this a quick stop. Total time from pulling into the parking lot to leaving and being back on the road was probably less than three minutes. Our order was correct, hot and fresh. I was the passenger, so I couldn't get a good view of the building from my side of the car, but it was clean and well-maintained. There's two drive-through lanes, and both of them were active and busy. Overall a great experience. read more

I got off the highway and stopped here around 9pm on a Sunday night. This is a modern McDonalds with 2 drive-thru lanes. In addition to the 2 lanes, also, 2 windows were open alongside the building (many McDonalds won't staff them both). The wait time is pretty slow, but nowhere near as bad as the nearby McDonald's in Carmel, NY. I became frustrated that I had to wait over 10 minutes to get a $4 snack when there were only 2 cars in front of me. Unacceptable, but in fairness, I've seen worse elsewhere. The food was hot and fresh. The beverage was also fresh. The meal itself was right on par with the McDonald's brand. The first thing I assess when I approach a drive-thru is the cleanliness. The lawns and grounds were clean, and the exterior signs were all working properly. Looking inside, the employees were all hustling. In addition to the 2 window employees, I saw 3 or 4 additional employees inside. At least 6 employees on duty. That's good management. But somehow, the wait was still slow. I've never had a bad experience at the Lake Ave McDonald's. They're open 24/7 usually speedy with the drive-thru's and the food has always been good. Remember it's a McDonald's so don't compare it to some 5 star restaurant. As far as McDonald's go this one is pretty good. The staff is usually friendly, and it looks like they run a tight shift. So I've been going to McDonald's in Lake Avenue since 2008 rarely have a problem but the manager that was on the shift of 05/31/22 around 7 o'clock in the evening wasn't professional so first I order a triple cheese with lettuce and bacon also two happy meals and l A large sprite small caramel frappe two strawberry cream pies and last but not least a McChicken with Mac sauce and bacon so the guy in the register puts down a big mac with Mac sauce which I don't know why because it comes with it already and bacon so I didn't catch that mistake so my total was almost $35 and I had a coupon on my app for 50% off my order so the total came out to $17.98 when I had approached them to let them know about the mistake the manager had to come by and help the gentleman upfront she was rude she basically just wanted to give me my Mac chicken with bacon and Mac sauce and not give me my change because the big Mac is eight something and the Mac chicken is way cheaper so I needed my change she gave it to me at the end so I'm waiting to get my Mac chicken and what happens I get a plain regular McChicken had to wait even more to correct them for the second time that it's a Mac chicken with big Mac sauce and bacon my fries were getting cold from my original order and my caramel frappe was melting it's 93° out here and I want to be in an out I also tried explaining to the lady that I was there a couple days ago ordered a happy meal and I didn't receive my juice unfortunately I kept trying to call the store nobody picked up so I'm telling her this and she tells me that's impossible we always pick the phone up so long story short I didn't have the receipt and she said she can't do anything for me I don't understand what's going on in their items or missing items are wrong not cool McDonald's ! read more

I frequent the McDonalds on Lake Avenue in Danbury CT fairly often, my dog love the plain McDoubles! There is a young woman, whose name is Josselin, that does a phenomenal job. Everytime I see her, shes assisting customers asking if they need anything, whether it be helping at the self ordering kiosk, smiling and greeting you, bring trays to tables, offering to get condiments or even refills for patrons that eat in. I have have never been so impressed by a McDonalds employee. I commend her for a job well done, her hardworking work ethic and her drive for customer satisfaction, she is the ONLY reason that I return to this location. Other employees at this site could take some notes from this dedicated coworker. read more

I HATE THIS MCDONALD'S!! The cheap gas station across the street lures me, and I get suckered into visiting this HORRIBLE excuse for a McDonald's. My expectations are pretty low - it's a freaking McDonald's! BUT they always forget something - sauce or ketchup at the drive thru but for some reason they NEVER and I do mean NEVER give me the chocolate chip cookies. The one time they remembered cookies, they were the wrong kind. I HATE oatmeal raisin. So zero for four for chocolate chip cookies is bad. All those other comments about poor English are spot on. Terrible service today! The second window cashier had a very bad attitude. I had a game sticker for free fries. Why do you need to take the entire bag of food just to correct your error. Then I am told that the first window cashier will not ask for game piece. So how would a customer know whose responsibility it is to ensure receipt is accurate. All the McDonalds in the area are owned by the same Corporation. This particular location is poorly staffed, poorly managed and often makes errors in the order because the staff is English challenged. They often give you the wrong order, or the wrong items for your order, and cannor get any special order (like no pickles) in the correct order. This McDonald's has always had trouble with their drive-thru. Whether it is accuracy of orders, speed of service, or friendliness of employees, there is almost always something wrong. I never filled out a survey before because I figured how little I paid equated to the quality and speed of service, however this particular time resonated with me. No matter what business it is, what location it is, or who the customer is, there should NEVER be a customer who has to deal with inattentive and dismissive employees. You wonder why your company can't keep up with others, because even though your prices may be low, your competitors offer MUCH better service and a better experience. It's a big problem for you when people would go out of their way to pay more. Train your employees to be attentive and aware of customers, not dismissive and overall terrible. Also, fix the speed of your drive thru. There should be no problem getting a simple order in the drive thru when it isn't rush hour. The McDonald's in Boca Raton, FL is super speedy, especially during rush-lunch times. Learn from them! Without a good explanation/response, I will never eat here again! read more
