The manager's attitude when I called to complain was that of someone working in ghetto land. He was a smart-mouthed individual with no couth. Please, save yourself the disappointment and don't visit this place for quality fast food, you'll regret it. There's a reason their parking lot is always empty. Just like the restaurant up by Firestone, that didn't last more than two years, I hope this one closes as well. We pay these higher prices on food and the last thing we need is a cocky dissrespectful so-called manager with a bug up his rear end talking to you like if you were a child when you call giving him feedback about a bad experience. Wait what, am I the first to review this place?…read more In these awful times of inflation, there is a sane option: Laredo Taco is pretty damn good and the price is right. Even the drinks are inexpensive, probably cuz this eatery is an extension of a 7-Eleven. But the best part is the tacos are HUGE!!! I ordered the two tacos/two sides deal and it was wayyyyyy too much food. And that's a good thing. Cuz this other place I went to in Brookfield just won my vote for World's smallest taco. Honestly, based on your appetite, one taco might be enough. But why not live life to its fullest and gorge yourself? Before I forget, they also got one of those great salsa/hot sauce bars as well. Don't waste your hard-earned cash on those fancy & trendy Mexican restaurants. I'd rather trade in the loud mariachi band for a quiet table next to the sunglass rack. 5 stars, can't wait to go back.

I love Mexican food and we were on our way home from shopping so I thought I would give them a try. I wish I kept on driving. You walk in and all the meats are in steam table. The only meat that looked edible was the chicken. I ordered the two chicken taco dinner with two sides. I asked for double refried beans which looked like one side it was such a small portion. My husband ordered the ground beef and a chicken taco with the same small double side. The beef looked so dried up it reminded me of the Seinfeld episode when Kramer ate the hot dog at the Alex Theatre that had been there since the silent age of movies, just to prove Lloyd Braun wasn't crazy and then got violently ill. I couldn't believe he ordered it, maybe I should have his mind checked. I have to say, the tacos are a good size. By the time we got home, (a short distance away) the food was cold. We also ordered the chips and Queso. The Queso wasn't bad, but the chips were so salty that I had to brush the salt off the chips and my tongue was burning from all the salt. There were no prices on the menus nor on the menu board above the counter, just the calorie count. By the time they rang me up I was up to $26.00. The reason I gave 2 stars is because the server was very friendly and enthusiastic.

Would not recommend for large events, well for events over 65 people. I hired Pink Elephant for my…read morebaby shower and paid for 100 guests. I knew I wasn't going to have 100 guests, but I wanted to make sure my guests didn't leave hungry since the food truck was the only food provided, so I arranged and paid for 100 guests, just in case people wanted seconds. Natasha, who I'm assuming is the owner of the food truck assured me she would be able to feed 100 guests in 2 hours. Which I thought was a little wild, but whatever, it's her business, I'm assuming she must have a great system in place. I had 65 guests, not the 100 guests she thought I was having- anyway, people were waiting 2.5 hours to eat. She said it was because people were arriving late and ordering more than two tacos. But the people that had to wait 2.5 hours were numbers 25+ (who had been there before they even got there) and she never said there was a limit to the number of tacos ppl can order, so granted, people ordered more than 1 taco, even I ordered one of each! I'm paying almost $3k for tacos, I want to try these tacos! At the baby shower when she was complaining about being there longer than she anticipated, I even told her to limit people on the number of tacos, if that meant people could get their food faster because at that point, it was embarrassing, I even think a few of my aunts weren't even able to eat. She needs a WAY better system for "large" events, not sure if this was her first event serving 65 ppl but hopefully she learned how to better manage a "large" event. Also, I think she only expected to serve 40 ppl, because her system went as followed: send 8 ppl up to order every 12-15 minutes... how could you possibly serve the "100" people I paid for in two hours that way... & then she was upset and wanted to charge us more to stay longer, but didn't. Natasha also just left, she did not tell anyone she was leaving, did not collect her balance that day (We agreed to me paying her the balance that day) she just packed up her truck that was parked out front and left. No one saw her go, she just snuck out lol it was weird. However, I do want to say, at least the food was good, could you imagine waiting 2+ hours for tacos for them to be bad?! So I will give her that, the food was very good, but the service, the way she designed her ordering system needs improving. But hopefully she learned from my event and does better for the next.
