The food here is great....we went here one Saturday afternoon and they had a "limited touch" method of ordering. Outside were menus and pencils, so you specify what you want (I had tacos, rice and beans) and you can customize your order. Then you go in and pay and get a drink if you want one. Then you go outside and wait. The guy behind the counter brought our food to the car and we drove down to the Brookfield municipal park and ate at one of the picnic tables. The tacos were great, I had carnitas, carne asada and chorizo. The carnitas was my favorite. The food was nicely spiced and a bit messy. I am a big fan of this food. read more

This is an updated review. I first tried taco batchi a year or so ago via recommendation from a friend (pre-covid). We have been back several times since. However, I was wondering how they were making it work post covid. New paper checklist menu's - one for tacos, burritos, and salad or rice bowls. You complete the menu checklist in your car. Bring the menu back in, pay, and the food is brought out to you - perfect idea. I actually hope they keep the checklist menu going forward. Now to the important part - those Tacos, sauces, and tortilla chips. Both of us ordered the gringo hard shell which actually stays together while your eating. Plenty of toppings are added where you dont have to worry about half way through eating your not just left with shell and meat. Their tortilla chips I could have finished the entire bag myself. Finally that chipotle mayo so creamy and just the right about of kick. Im really hoping to convince my fiancé to let us eat their again tonight or tomorrow. read more

What an experience I had this was the worst place i've ever gotten a burrito. You would have a better experience going to a gas station. the sour cream is watered down and the rice is extremely wet. horrible food establishment. read more

Ahhhh, me and my big mouth (original review below for reference....I've been trying to stay positive on Yelp too!). No sooner did I open my big yap than Taco Bachi expanded their hours for LUNCH!!! So now I'm able to partake. 3 tacos for $10 and they are outstanding. Hopefully now you and I have a better chance of scoring some tacos! ______________________________________________ The place is NEVER OPEN. Closed two days a week and then if it is open, 4-7 PM?? How the f*** can you turn a buck in 2021 by being open 3 hours a day? Seriously, I'd be happy to give them my money but they obviously don't want it. read more

Stumbled upon this place and boy are we happy about that! Absolutely amazing! The food was out of this world. I had the tacos and my wife had the burrito, with a side of street corn of course. The service was great as well, simple paper order and when the food is ready they brought it out to us! Cool food truck vibe, Love it! So good we stopped in after to tell the staff how much we enjoyed it. Also left a review which is not my norm! Enjoy we did! read more

Damn good tacos! Like REALLY good. I was just cruising through town and pulled up my trusty yelp app looking for a snack. I scored. Amazing corn taco shells. Perfect texture and flavor. Solid fillings and a good sized serving of them at that. I got a pork, a carne asada and a fish. All were pre-cooked and just slopped into the shells, but still surprisingly tasty. I'm not gonna lie, I was quite skeptical about the fish. Then you go over to the toppings bar where everything looks fresh and there are tons of different salsas. Sliced limes as well. It was great. It was like, I'd drive 30 minutes out of my way great and I live in a town with a large Latino population. I'll be back! read more

Finally Brookfield has an authentic and amazing taco place. This is a quick stop taqueria with several homemade salsas (about 10!) I'll definitely be back soon and often The prices are also very very reasonable Service is also amazing, friendly, and extremely knowledgeable about the salsa offerings. read more

GRAY MEAT. I was so dissppointed after hearing such good things about this place. The taco meat was literally just bland flavorless ground meat, no seasoning what so ever not even salt or pepper, a strange gray color and dry as can be. The taco shells were good, and the chips and guacomole as well but the beef tacos were unedible. How do you not have good beef tacos at a taco place? Very dissapointing. We will NOT be back. read more

Not sure what everyone is raving about. Y'all act like you've never had real tacos before. Food is OK. Fine. Passable. Nice people. I would give them more credit if it weren't for the self serve bar. I just find that kind of set up pretty gross. Too much chance for contamination with the tiny tongs they have in there. Bleh. read more

Meh. It's mostly a millennial hang out. Food was okay not much flavor at all. The meat tasted weird no flavor and weird texture like it was frozen faux meat. I don't know but I won't be going back. If you love to look at a parking lot of POS Subaru, blasting crap music, and bland food... then this is the place for you. read more

The food is great, portions are good, meat is flavorful and moist. The toppings are abundant and the sauces are definitely popular and varied in heat. We'd eat there more often but $10 for 3 tacos gets to be pricey for a family of 4. After 3 tacos we still want more but $20 for 6 It's a family favorite for sure though and we will continue to go but not as often as we'd like. It's more like a treat for us when the kids aren't around. read more

We did takeout twice, with three and two couples. Excellent both times - we loved it!. ALL of the meats are excellent. I had chicken, Mexican pork (Carnitas), and marinated steak (Carne Asada). I almost couldn't choose which was best, but if I HAD to go with one, the chicken was moist and tasty. The others seemed to like the Mexican pork the best. There's a lot of toppings, which were good, fresh and varied. The first time we went there, there was guacamole, which was just about out when we got there. The second time there was no guac out at all, so we bought some, $3/half pint. Some though there was too much cilantro in the guac and it was pretty hot! My friend had the burrito twice, said it was good. Believe it or not, three tacos are a meal. All in all, I think this place is going to be a success because of the taste, freshness and quality of the Tacos. It will become a weekly stop for me. read more

If you are in the market to have tacos and/or burritos then you need to get over to Taco Bachi! After a visit here your taste buds will try to convince you that you're in Mexico! The tacos and burritos here blow away any other place I have tried in a 25 mile radius. The owners are fantastic and already have a deli business nearby called Chihuahuas , also very yummy! My favorite burrito is the beef, it's like having the most delicious hamburger ever, but with rice & beans and no thick bulky bun. Trust me, it's worth the drive from any nearby town! read more

You wouldn't expect such big flavor out of such a small spot, but these guys kill it. Best, most authentic tic tacos you're going to get anywhere in Fairfield County. I've been to Taco Bachi about 10x since they opened just a few months ago and every time they fail to disappoint! Ever type of meat they have is wonderfully done and brings out such distinct flavors in whatever your eating, and the topping bar is always loaded with goodies to mix and match with! My favorite is getting a half pork half carne asada burrito, and loading it up with all the toppings I want and having them finish it off in the press! A new MUST TRY in Brookfield! read more

I ordered from here my first time a few weeks, and was pleasantly surprised. Obviously things have changed since the pandemic, but it is always refreshing to see a business taking the matter seriously and finding clever work arounds to avoid spreading germs as much as possible. As well as that, the food was incredible! Definitely recommend and is absolutely worth the trip even if you're not in the area. read more

The next time I go I hope they have beef as well as cheese empanadas. I found the prices of what I ordered was reasonable.
