The food here is great....we went here one Saturday afternoon and they had a "limited touch" method of ordering. Outside were menus and pencils, so you specify what you want (I had tacos, rice and beans) and you can customize your order. Then you go in and pay and get a drink if you want one. Then you go outside and wait. The guy behind the counter brought our food to the car and we drove down to the Brookfield municipal park and ate at one of the picnic tables. The tacos were great, I had carnitas, carne asada and chorizo. The carnitas was my favorite. The food was nicely spiced and a bit messy. I am a big fan of this food. read more

This is an updated review. I first tried taco batchi a year or so ago via recommendation from a friend (pre-covid). We have been back several times since. However, I was wondering how they were making it work post covid. New paper checklist menu's - one for tacos, burritos, and salad or rice bowls. You complete the menu checklist in your car. Bring the menu back in, pay, and the food is brought out to you - perfect idea. I actually hope they keep the checklist menu going forward. Now to the important part - those Tacos, sauces, and tortilla chips. Both of us ordered the gringo hard shell which actually stays together while your eating. Plenty of toppings are added where you dont have to worry about half way through eating your not just left with shell and meat. Their tortilla chips I could have finished the entire bag myself. Finally that chipotle mayo so creamy and just the right about of kick. Im really hoping to convince my fiancé to let us eat their again tonight or tomorrow. read more

Damn good tacos! Like REALLY good. I was just cruising through town and pulled up my trusty yelp app looking for a snack. I scored. Amazing corn taco shells. Perfect texture and flavor. Solid fillings and a good sized serving of them at that. I got a pork, a carne asada and a fish. All were pre-cooked and just slopped into the shells, but still surprisingly tasty. I'm not gonna lie, I was quite skeptical about the fish. Then you go over to the toppings bar where everything looks fresh and there are tons of different salsas. Sliced limes as well. It was great. The taco meat was literally just bland flavorless ground meat, no seasoning what so ever not even salt or pepper, a strange gray color and dry as can be. We'd eat there more often but $10 for 3 tacos gets to be pricey for a family of 4. We did takeout twice, with three and two couples. Excellent both times - we loved it!. ALL of the meats are excellent. I had chicken, Mexican pork (Carnitas), and marinated steak (Carne Asada). I almost couldn't choose which was best, but if I HAD to go with one, the chicken was moist and tasty. The others seemed to like the Mexican pork the best. There's a lot of toppings, which were good, fresh and varied. The first time we went there, there was guacamole, which was just about out when we got there. The second time there was no guac out at all, so we bought some, $3/half pint. Some though there was too much cilantro in the guac and it was pretty hot! My friend had the burrito twice, said it was good. Believe it or not, three tacos are a meal. All in all, I think this place is going to be a success because of the taste, freshness and quality of the Tacos. It will become a weekly stop for me. read more

Ever type of meat they have is wonderfully done and brings out such distinct flavors in whatever your eating, and the topping bar is always loaded with goodies to mix and match with!
