This is not representative of a normal CFA. Consistency is unheard of here. It's convenient to our office so we occasionally order for breakfast or lunch. They are TERRIBLE at breakfast. Because it's Chick-fil-A, I'm almost certain this is one of the more popular selections at the NorthPark food court. Chick-fil-A is one of those restaurants where you can never go wrong. Even if I say that, the fact that it is a food restaurant in a mall diminishes my expectations. I'll say that, for the most part, the food is very good and I have a pleasant experience, yet there are occasions when I have semi-bad encounters. For example, the waffle fries I get can be either slightly cold and not crunchy but rather soggy, or they can be the polar opposite and be warm, crunchy, and soft. From my perspective, the waffle fries are an important element of the meal since they either make or break the meal, at least for me. Furthermore, the sandwiches and nuggets can be made the same way; you'll either get them warm or semi-cold, but the sandwiches usually come out pretty nice. The nuggets, on the other hand, can be either bad or good, in the sense that sometimes they'll be cooked to perfection, while other times they'll be cooked to a bare minimum and truly disappoint. However, the line/app is another issue that can be disappointing. I usually buy through the app to avoid the line. However, I've observed that they regularly overlook items, such as your ice cream cup or sauces, so always double-check your order and make sure you have everything you requested. For this reason, I'm not sure if it's because I'm ordering through the app, because it rarely happens when I order through the line. For me, when I'm in a hurry, it's either wait in line for a long time, as the mall can get pretty crowded, and the wait time can get up to 15 minutes, or order through the app and risk them forgetting items. Nonetheless, you must give Chick-fil-A credit for their employees. The majority of them are incredibly polite and always say the infamous line, "my pleasure," but there are a few who appear unhappy and as if they despise their jobs, which is understandable on some days, but as I previously stated, the majority of their employees are truly genuine and super friendly, so that will always be a positive aspect of Chick-fil-A. Overall, the lack of consistency and the occasional bad experiences earn this restaurant a three star rating from me. Don't get me wrong, I still think it's a good option for quick fast food, but if they could just be a little more consistent, this would be a fantastic place to eat. read more

The beauty of this Chick-Fil-A is the speed and consistency of which they deliver their food. Being in the high-volume, fast paced setting of NorthPark Center, this location has it down to an art. Out of all the Chick-Fil-A locations I've been to, this one serves the best food. Because of the high volume, it's fresh and I've never left with warm food- it's always piping hot. Now, because this location always has a line, don't let it mislead you- they are fully staffed, and the line moves very rapidly. There is a sense of urgency, organization and you can tell it's run very well. Everyone knows where to be and is diligently filling orders. They always deliver their service with a smile and without fail respond "my pleasure" to any thank you's. Truth be told, I'm not much of a chicken eater- but they have incredibly delicious mac n' cheese, and of course; magnificent waffle fries, shakes, yogurt parfait and brownies. Also, if you don't already have the Chick-Fil-A app, you should download it. You can accumulate free food rewards with purchases and can place an order ahead for pick up. When I'm shopping at NorthPark Mall, I usually stop by this location for a quick bite. It's super convenient. The lineups are pretty long but the service is excellent and they do try to bring out your order as soon as possible. The Chick-a-fil-a, as I like to hear it called, located in North Park mall is managed quite well. I was initially opposed to this fast food court being added to North Park mall and it's lovely Dallas pretentiousness. But now that the option is there I don't mind it a bit. The food was standard Chick-Fil-A which is a bit on the dry side. However, I thought service was excellent with friendly staff greeting me and serving my order promptly and with a friendly smile. What put it over the top enough for me to yelp about a fast food place was that someone walked around the courtyard area asking people if they needed more sauce, napkins or whatever. The store owner Jeff white is awful. He no longer allows customers to get their chicken nuggets well done which is a big problem because nuggets are always under cooked at this location and not browned like the menu board shows or other chick fil a locations I've eaten at. In the last 15 years I've never had a problem with asking for well done nuggets. I ate the nuggets since I was stuck in the drive through and hoped for the best. I went home and placed them under the broiler to help cook them longer. Unfortunately it still wasn't long enough for the light gold colored nuggets because half way through eating them I looked down and I had eaten half of a raw centered nugget. I am unsure if I ate any others that were raw as I working and not paying attention. I did think they tasted odd but I should have paid more attention. I got severely sick with food poisoning. My husband called to speak with him and emailed him and jeff white never responded after I sent him the photos of the raw chicken his store served me and how undercooked they appeared visually and that they weren't even browned. He still did not respond to the incident. I them reported the food poisoning and the raw chicken images and report and still heard nothing from him. Just goes to show that a customer should be allowed to have chicken cooked a little longer when it prevents raw chicken being served and getting customers very sick. Jeff stop cutting corners with time management and allow people to save guard themselves from staff and management neglecting quality control. This only hurts you in the end. None of my friends or family will be eating at this location anymore and are disgusted by this owner and his lack of caring. Chick fil a is not an inexpensive fast food joint yet I can get my nuggets well done at McDonald's lol. Very slow. They legit pull every order that in comes in. Instead of grabbing the items that are pre made out the fridge or sitting on the heat rack. For example.
