2nd worst Chick-fil-A I have ever been to in my life and I say that as someone who Chick-fil-A is right up there in my favorite fast food restaurants out there. Two biggest issues, service and food. Chick-fil-A prides itself on its customer service and with that in mind this establishment has a lot to answer for. Every person I interacted with was barely even courteous, let alone friendly or welcoming. They acted as if it was a burden to have to do their jobs. Additionally, they made numerous mistakes on my order and made the process or correcting the issues extremely conformational and needlessly difficult. The final straw though was the food. The fruit was overripe (nearly expired) and the chicken in the chicken sandwich was stringy, dry and practically inedible. It's my favorite chicken sandwich in fast food and I couldn't even finish it. Chick-fil-A is a love hate relationship for me. I love their chicken sandwiches, I love even more their delicious sauces and their waffle fries, but I dislike the forgetfulness of the staff. The spicy chicken sandwich deluxe is the one I usually order, and it's simple but super delicious, I like to order chick fila sauce on the side for it and the honey toasted bbq, and usually they forget one or the other or both, it's almost certain to happen unless I open up the package , hold up the line and dig through my bag hunting for it. The waffle fries are a medium firmness which is not bad, you can't order them extra crispy which sucks but the flavor of real potato is there like no other fast food restaurants fries in New Mexico. So good job on that. Their salads are really good too. I happen to love the southwest salad, I've tried it with different dressings and it's honestly good with many pairings. My favorite sauces there are the zesty buffalo which is a bit creamier and less pungent than most buffalo which I like, as well as the chick fila sauce (my favorite), and the honey roasted bbq (my second favorite). The lines are very long in prime dinner time when people just get off work. The key is to come before or after that time to avoid long wait times. This has to be the worst chik-fil-a in ABQ. They consistently can't get the orders right. Order filled nugs, get regular. Order regular, get grilled. Forget about ordering a side by itself. They will always forget. Milkshake and ice cream machine is always down. Who manages (or doesn't manage) this place. Corporate needs to get control of this store. Also they are so rude when they bring food to your table. Asked for ketchup and they just point to where it is. Chik-fil-a need to re-train the employees here. And replace the manager. Do yourself a favor and drive the extra mile or two to another location. Update: went back up to get to go order for my sister who was at home. A kid threw up in front of register. The poor guy taking my order tried to get someone ti clean it up. Literally everyone around him, including the shift supervisor, ignored him. It was still there when I got my to go order. Seems like this Chick-fil-A location has a lot of poor reviews. That was not my experience. Going through the drive thru at 2, and during the week, the line was short. The employees were quickly taking orders and taking payment. Disappointed they couldn't take my gift card right away. However, I was able to use it when I got to the pick up window. As I waited briefly for them to take my payment, I could see they had many hands on deck. It seemed hectic, but looked like they had it down to a science. My food was super fresh and so tasty! The food is normal, though they sometimes lapse in quality and service. What's the most disappointing is that the manager does not enforce the age and height policy for the play area. We were there and large kids were bullying the younger children, imposing "rules" and telling kids they couldn't play. My wife literally had to go in there and reprimand these children whose parents thought it was appropriate behavior. But she shouldn't have had to do this. If she had been abused by another parent we would've had no choice but to sue the establishment. read more

Gave me my table maker.. and waited for my food to be brought out. 25 minutes later, I notice door dash orders flying in and out the door, Drive thru line moving smooth. I still gave them the benefit of the doubt thinking they might be short staffed for the lobby. After another 5 minutes gone by, I walked up to the counter to ask about my order, gave my receipt to a kid and as he goes to show the receipt to the others prepping the orders. I am in the chick fil a presently, and this is the driest coldest chick fil a I've ever had. It's 1153, so core lunch time hours and I had to return my number one sandwich bc it was so dry it was peeling as I tried to bite it apart. The fries were cold, dry and overly salted like they had been in the burner for 15 mins. The only saving grace were the employees being nice. Major disappointment as I was trying to find a place to relax with my 16 month old on daddy day care today. I worked at a chick fil a for 5 years, so I know the employees are making the food too far in advance and letting it sit on rack. I ordered lunch during my lunch break via curbside order. Once I got home I looked in the bag to eat and my gluten free bun (which is an additional 1.50 onto the meal) was MOLDY. I can't get over what great service they provide. With the Coronavirus in full swing, their employees have still been cautious, extremely courteous, fast, patient and professional. Of course we love their tasty food as well. Their Spicy Chicken Sandwich is flavorful, good heat, and the pickles make it perfect. Be ready to become fully addicted to their waffle fries. We love getting mints in the restaurant and this time we asked for them at the pickup window. Love that! The food was great as always. Fresh, hot, delicious. We got all the sauces we asked for and wet wipes too. The people at this location are so great, always friendly, polite and kind. This location is very busy so you need to allow for that. Place an online drive through order and it was the slowest line I have seen at Chik Fil A. They asked me to drive around front and park. Waited 5 minutes and still no food. I went in and the store was really dirty. No one wanted to wait on me. Finally, an employee asked another employee to help me. The counters were dirty and had water leaking.
