Worst Chick-Fil-A ever! The service was very slow and they gave us no straws and forgot one of my orders. It took a whole 45 minutes out of my trip just to go through a drive thru of a fast food restaurant with only ten cars in drive thru and no one inside. Even ordering was awful! We stood in line waiting for ten minutes and by the drive thru window for 10 minutes. We watched inside as they made every other persons meal but kept us at the window causing all the other orders to be late (as I saw all the yellow and green orders on the order machine turn to yellow and ultimately to green before my very eyes). All the employees were inside laughing and having fun while I waited with ten other cars behind me in line. Whenever they gave us our food 20 minutes later, we received no apology just a no-teeth smile and a "bye". We left to get back to our trip and quickly realized we had a whole meal not in our bag and we had no straws. We had to turn around and we added and extra fifteen minutes to our time. Being from the south where Chick-Fil-As are everywhere, this is very unacceptable for Chick-Fil-A. Came to write a review about my experience with this location and it seems I'm not alone in my disappointment. Put in an online order for pickup after a long 9 hour drive from Dallas. My grilled chicken sandwich was cold, the chicken patty was extremely small (did not fit the bun), and the chicken tasted old. Additionally my fries were not filled, my lemonade was extremely sour (seems the concentrate wasn't diluted correctly I'm unsure), and the person dropping the food off was not exactly friendly. Felt like such a waste of time and money and an extreme disappointment after a long day of driving. Super pleased to see that this Chik-fil-A is similar to the other ones in town! The staff is incredibly courteous and they work fast to provide you with fresh food! The drive through looked a little daunting with the amount of cars but it went super fast! And despite all of the orders inside and in the drive through, our order was 100% right. My husband gets picky when it comes to salad dressing and sauce. We've been married for almost 5 years and it even drives me crazy! Haha! They didn't bat an eyelash with providing him with all the sauces and extra salad dressings that he wanted. All in all, it was another great Chik-Fil-A experience! Two guys outside taking orders tonight were so bad that they seemed rude. I pull up to the drive through and two guys standing there with tablets just continue talking. I roll my window down and stare at them. Eventually one of the approaches and just stares at his tablet...no communication. EVENTUALLY he starts speaking and asks for a name. I tell him Brad, and he ASKS ME TO SPELL IT! He then hits about 30 buttons on the tablet even though my name is only four letters. I repeated even louder B-R-A-D which must have snapped him out of it because he then asked for my order. After my order, I ask if I pay him but he doesn't answer. Instead he mumbles something. I ask again and he mumbles SLIGHTLY louder, "cash or card?" I hand him my card, he runs it, then walks away without saying anything! He didn't ask me about sauces to go with my nuggets. I get to the window and the girl there is SUPER nice. I had to ask for BBQ sauce, because the previous guy never asked. She handed it to me with a "my pleasure." The reason everyone loves Chic-fil-A so much is because of their service. The article in question pointed out the average drive thru wait time. Chic-fl-A beat the livin' pants off of every national fast food chain. The reason their drive thru time was so fast? A limited menu. When was the last time you drove through the drive thru at a Sonic? Holy goodness! Talk about confusing! They have literally everything you can imagine on that menu and it takes you an hour to decide what you want. Hence the painfully slow wait time in the drive thru. On top of the limited menu that speeds up the process, they really kick it up a notch with service. This particular location is really busy during the lunch hour, and when I was there on Monday, Feb. 11th, they had half a dozen employees out in the parking lot taking orders. They were braving the elements in order to lesson our inconvenience. It was just so efficient, and I was downright impressed! Oh, and the food totally rocks too! I came here for lunch on the work shift with my coworker. Her idea, not mine. Although, I don't know why I never consider it myself since I am known to order chicken sandwiches at any burger joint. These places are always super busy. Parking lot packed and a line in the drive through. This location, no different. The nice thing about Chick-fil-A, is that even with the appearance of being ridiculously busy, you find that there is no wait inside. This place is a well oiled and fully calibrated machine. Sometimes I laugh at how many people they have on staff, but I guess I shouldn't knock it because they always make my experience a good one. The staff always have a smile on their face and check on you while you eat, even offering to re-fill your drink for you! The food is is always fresh and hot too. Try to find something to complain about, they make it hard. Don't forget to get a flavored sauce with your meal, it's complimentary and they have a nice variety. Love them! They are ALWAYS courteous, friendly, polite, and treat you like a guest at 5 star resort. Can't believe fast food joint will care to open doors for you, come to check & make sure food is alright, offer refills, quick to apologize if/when there's any mistakes and offers comp coupons. One of the guys is super nice and always does this "invisible" trick my daughter LOVES it! What restaurant workers consistently says, "my pleasure"? What a discipline and standards! Love what they stand for, their openly faithful display of their Christian values, even the Christian instrumental music makes me feel right at home. Love the fact that my daughter can sing along with the music I'm sort of new to Chick-fil-a but their chicken is sooooooo delicious!! I don't like fast food too much and I definitely don't like fried food...BUT this is my exception. This is a restaurant and I tell myself their chicken sandwich or tenders are good for me! Hahaha. Thank you for not being just another fast food restaurant; thank you for your generous contributions to my church and to the community as a whole. Len has been a generous manager, and the other employees are friendly too. The model of what a fast food restaurant should be like. As far as the food, the nuggets are a bit salty but have a great flavor, the waffle fries are delicious, and the waffle potato chips make potato chips fun again. Thick-cut crunchy potato chips, not flimsy anorexic like Lay's. Unlike other fast food restaurants, this parking lot is big and spacious. Plus it belongs to just Chick-fil-A so you don't have to worry about competing with customers from other businesses for parking or deal with lots of traffic. This was one of the fanciest fast food places I have been to. Yes, I have been to other Chick-fil-A restaurants, but this one had wood paneling on the walls and some of the employees were wearing bowties. Sure, it is a newer construction, but, wow. True to Chick-fil-A standards, everyone was very polite and helpful. My son even commented on how friendly and helpful people were. He went to get a drink refill and I think it was the guy who was cleaning the tables stopped what he was doing to come help him since the people behind the counter were busy taking new orders. Our food was hot and tasty, even if the sweet tea was a little weaker than I usually like it. I recommend the new Santa Fe salad with the creamy salsa dressing. The spicy pepitas help make that one great. If I am in the area in the future and need some chicken, this place will be on the list. The only complaint I have is the odd parking lot. You must turn at the light to access the lot. Either that, or you have to come down the hill through the neighborhood to the east. read more
