Havent been to this location in a while. They completely remodeled the entire dining area. It looks really nice. Staff is always very helpful and kind. I expect nothing less at Chick fil A. My wife ordered a deluxe classic meal, she said everything was fine. I ordered chicken strips meal. The chicken was definitely overcooked and crumbly. Nothing some sauces couldn't fix though. The lemonade was way off this time though. I think they maybe had too much sugar in it so them lemon to sugar ratio was off. Overall chick fil a is always a good option for fast food. I wondered how could Chick-Fil-A could make it better; could they? Shout out the crew that keeps the ground nice and clean. Always welcoming when entering the premises. Food is greater usual but the service is EXTREMELY SLOW. This has to be the slower Chick-fil-A I've ever been to. Even when you do mobile order it still takes 15-20 mins after arriving with minimal cars on line. I mention the slow service to worker and she stated that it was the kitchen. It was nice having one closer to home but with the service being so slow it's worth going to another location. read more

With a busy Mother's Day weekend this location was right on target. Food was delicious and hot. They even allow dogs and for folks traveling that's a real plus. The best feature was Janet who traveled through the restaurant offering service to those dining in. Also Hayden. By the time a diner vacated a table he was right on the spot sanitizing ready for the next diners. I was dining alone. Janet came and asked if I was a mother? I said yes. I used to work for Chik-fil-A on University Dr. back in 2008 . I HATED the way I was fired . I wasn't let go in the usual way most companies fire you . The last day I worked there, I came in and everybody walked around me, like I didn't exist . I would speak to someone and they'd start talking to someone else, like I wasn't there . Or I would be reaching to get something and someone would snatch it up, all while ignoring me, even though we were working in such close quarters . When I went to my supervisor to ask why everyone was treating me this way, she just smirked and said, " Did you even check the schedule to see if you're supposed to be here ?" That's how I found out I was let go . I only found out the next day, from another employee who worked morning shift that that's how Chik-fil-A fires employees . They think it's more CHRISTIAN to fire you by gradually lessening your hours and ghosting you on the final day, until you get the hint . But it's really HEARTLESS AND CRUEL . I'd MUCH rather be fired to my face, like other NON-CHRISTIAN companies do, than to be treated that way . read more

Last two visits here have been disappointing as this location has not lived up to the typical chickfila standards. Employees are not uber friendly and manager is almost non-existent. My chicken filet had burnt marks on it last time and this time they put the wrong cheese on it (never asked). The cleanliness is also sub par (both bathroom and dining room). On two recent trips to DC, I've stopped in here to grab a quick lunch. While the employees are very friendly - obviously the case at all Chic-fil-A's - I've had issues both times with my orders. The first visit, I ordered the 8 piece nugget meal with fries. The nuggets were hot & big in size; however, the fries were very soggy & just warm. On the second visit, I ordered the 8 piece nuggets, but asked for cole slaw instead of the fries. When I drove away & dug into the bag, I realized I got the fries. :( Again, the nuggets were great. While the fries were hot, they were just OK. Getting in & out is pretty quick. This location is in a busy shopping area, which is perfect for their business. read more

I have been to this restaurant numerous times and the past few times I have wanted a milkshake, I have been told their machine isn't working. Come to find out, they didn't want to make the milkshakes. If I wanted this kind of issues I would definitely go to McDonald's. I can understand if I come close to closing, but that's not been the case whenever I go. The past few times I have been, this particular restaurant has definitely not been up to par. Long time chic-fil-a lover and have never ever had a negative experience until today. We we're traveling 3 hours home for thanksgiving, towing a trailer. We were unable to fit into the drive-thru and were told that if we wanted to order we couldn't do so inside and had to walk to the middle of the car lines to order at the stand between menu boards. stopped at chick fil a on gate city blvd. for a quick dinner for the family last night around 7:00 PM. the drive in was busy, as usual, and a young lady taking orders was having issues with her computer. she was trying to be friendly but had a few nasty customers that I dont think anyone could have satisfied. times are tough and we all need to be kinder and more patient. at least these young folks are working and not sitting home on their computers. read more
