First of all the sandwich wasn't bad, but there was nothing on it like mayo or any kind of sauce. Not sure if it is standard or you have to ask. I was in the drive through, and no one working there asked me if I wanted anything on it. I ended up putting mayo on when I got home. The other thing is they only offer white meat. For being breast, it was actually OK, but since they specialize in chicken, you'd think they would have more options. If it is normal for no sauces on it, I will pass next time. I call back right away after got home, the owner told me please go back and pick up the missed item or go pick up next time. I ask please just cancel the items they missed and the owner reject. When I finally got around to trying to redeem the free sandwich vouchers at another Chik-Fil-A, I discovered that 3 of them were for breakfast only (it was dinner time), and the fourth one was for a specific sandwich that we didn't want. When I chuckled and told a staff member at the other Chik-Fil-A why I found the worthless vouchers so comical, that employee told me about his/her own unpleasant encounter at the Bothell chain. Among the worst service I've ever had at any restaurant, ever, and they managed to hide an extra little bad-service "Easter Egg" into the encounter. It's kind of comical in hindsight. NOT WORTH THE MONEY, OR THEY HYPE!!! We waited months for this one to open with much anticipation. I didn't go during the Grand Opening as my daughter did. She brought home her left overs and ooh their famous sauce. The chicken seemed really great. So I was interested in going, after the newness wore off. So after a few weeks, it was around Christmas that I took my son. For 2 meals it was $32.00 and small ones I might add, as I dropped to the floor in shock!!! Crap, we could've went to Red Robin's or somewhere else for better food!!! Oh well, we were here, the order was made, I was a little excited about what I remembered tasting from my daughters Meal. So my son when to play in this really cool play area, and I had to sit outside( no tables in the play area) Tables were extremely dirty, and I had to clean them up. Food arrived and quite a mix of emotions, hand spun milkshakes, tasted wonderful! The waffle fries, you just have to enjoy them. I don't care for them. The chicken tenders taste like fish, they were small and not worth the money, the chicken nuggets also fishy taste. Amazing! I learned how to order on my phone and it was super easy to figure out. You order what you want and then place order. Then when you show up you hit "im here" and they make the order fresh! This is very much a family place where the kids can play and stock up on Mac & cheese. The staff is very friendly and accommodating. I'm usually a big Chick-fil-A fan but I recently had a bad experience here. Went through the drive through and the girl taking the orders look like she was having the worst day ever! Which I get we all have bad days but go through the basic motions. With an attitude she ask what can I get you.... ummm can I see the menu oooo. I put in my order didn't ask what type of chicken I wanted so I assumed the salad I ordered only came with breaded chicken well that wasn't the case. Ended up not getting what I expected because this employee couldn't give me my options. The sad thing is that there were probably 5 people in the drive through WHICH for a chick-fil-a is very short. My experience at Chick-fil-A in Bothell, WA was truly a nightmare. The customer service is terrible and apparently, the devices they use outside the restaurant to speed up the payment process in the drive-through do not work. I placed my order with the first girl who was in the driveway line, she told me that her device was not working properly and sent me to do my check out with the boy who was only a few steps away from her. This guy just printed my receipt(apparently). I picked up my food at the window and went to my office. Two days later I was checking my bank statement, I realized that Chick-fil-A double-charged my food. I went to the store and took a copy of my bank's screen, and the transaction detail was showed that the transaction had been duplicated, and I showed it to the manager in charge at that moment. These employees and store manager, after 2 weeks of asking about the cancellation of the double charge, told me to put a dispute in the bank !! OMG! completely outside the basic standards of "Customer Service". This shows how miserable and greedy the company is (remember that an employee is a reflection of your service policies). The state of WA is one of the states where customer service is first class, where trust in your word as a customer comes first. Unfortunately, CFA is poor in this chapter. The education, principles, myopia, and ignorance of the local culture of this franchise are really poor. I don't think I'm the only person who has had this bad experience at this CFA branch in Bothell, WA, but maybe I'm the only one who put it on a public site. Hopefully, (although I doubt it), the owners can read the reviews and improve their customer service policies, which is one of the worst I've ever seen. I have a Master's Degree in Marketing and I am speaking based on my knowledge and experience in this field. read more

Chicken is always on point... WHEN you actually get the correct order. Been there a few times and service is a hit or miss. When it's good it's what you'd expect. When it's bad you're sitting there with your mouth wide open in disbelief. Been there a handful of times and I have to say half the time they either get my order wrong, given mine or someone in my party's food to someone else. Latest was an order was taken, guy delivering food must have been new because he has no idea what he was doing. Gave my food to a few people before I told him that it mine, Took my buddies color order cup, didn't bring him his food, and when he inquired they didn't have the soup anymore (soup pot was not turned on so soup was cold, so they couldn't serve it). Said they would give him a partial refund. Refund never came, we had to remind them again before it was done. Shouldn't be this difficult. I get it's a fast food place, what do you expect right?! Was leery to go to this location based on all the negative reviews, but turns out that I had nothing to worry about. We met up with some friends from our of state here that are die hard CFA fans, and we all had a great experience. The food is as expected. Nobody's order was screwed up. There is a playground inside for the kids to play in. The only thing that I would say as a negative is the service isn't quite what you would expect from a CFA in terms of cheery friendliness. I have had similar observations at other chain restaurants that I love from out of state, but the local work force isn't friendly enough to get out of their comfort zone and provide the experience you have come to expect from experiences you've had out of state. I used to think it was a Seattle/East Side problem and that the people here just weren't friendly and outgoing (that's definitely part of it), but the CFA in Bellevue has proven that you can, in fact, replicate that amazing customer service experience in Washington. It's not that the workers at this one were unfriendly, but they weren't what you would expect from a CFA. read more

Rather then fixing the problem I always see this one manager I think his name is Kareem always yelling at the workers but not trying to help the angry customers. I don't understand why he would yell only to put more stress on them making it worse overall And my orders are always wrong they are useless I think it's due to the lack of good management. But this young lady manager named desirae always helps the customers. And it seems to be always understaffed. My minor was looking for Part Time work. So She got hired at this location. She's only worked two weeks since they opened. And that was only Monday, and Saturday. They haven't scheduled her since. As a teen that's trying to save some money for College, Car Insurance, and Gas, I don't think it's right. She shows up on time, she's friendly, did everything they asked her to do, has a smile on her face, and has a drive to work. Why hire someone if you never schedule her? And for that I can't give you more stars. And when I do eat at Chick-fil A, my order is messed up, waiting along time for food, and I tell them my name, and when I get to window it's someone else's order. I observed the situation for a few minutes so I might talk to the parts of the children who were instigating the behavior but the parents could not be found. My husband and I went here this weekend (Actually went to Lynnwood location, not Bothel). We had been once before when they first opened and it was good, but it's hard to judge a place on their first month after opening. The food was very good, but what impressed me most was the customer service. I have never been in a fast food place before and received such friendly and great customer service. They had a large staff on hand and everyone was busy. They had workers on the floor offering refills, taking empty trays, just inquiring how your lunch was. Very disappointed- extremely SLOW "service". We did an online order for pickup and arrived at the Bothell store to wait for the order. Sat there for over 20 minutes in the parking lot and watched people drive in, sit for a few minutes, get their order, and drive away. The drive thru was backed way up but even ALL of those cars cycled through faster. They FINALLY brought the order out to the car and the fries were so cold they felt like they just came out of the fridge. The chicken was just barely warm. When I commented on the twenty minute wait the excuse I received (and yes it felt like a total excuse) was "oh your order just popped up on the screen two minutes ago. Well, if that were true wouldn't the food be HOT instead of feeling like it had sat on the counter for about 15 minutes? The Lynnwood location is much better - I would recommend the drive to Lynnwood (196th). Don't waste your time on the Bothell location. I've eaten at several Chic fil as and the one in Canyon Park is just like all of the others - food is a good value for the money, staff is friendly and attentive.
