You have not had a Chick-fil-A this good and you are missing out. This Chick-fil-A is so scrumdiddlyumptious. I go here every week and it's always the best.

Came here on the Saturday night waited 15 minutes for my order. When ordered arrived to my table everything was cold. Bun wasn't even warm. Bacon and Fridays was slightly warm. I brought my order back to the cashiers counter. No apologies were offered. New order was made but only fries was hot everything else was still cold. I'm not coming back to Chick Fill A for a cold $14 meal

Spicy Chicken Sandwich

Not really impressed with Chick-fil-A. The spicy chicken sandwich was no competition for some of the other chains efforts - less flavor and less heat. The order was screwed up for the salad, we got the wrong toppings, roasted peppers instead of nuts.

Came here because I received a free voucher for an original chicken sandwich. I ordered the original chicken sandwich and the spicy chicken deluxe. Both tasted great and both were made correctly. I went through the drive-thru and the wait was not that long.

Stopped by this location today around 8p- ish .. their app wasn't working. (Never had a problem with it before) but not a big issue. I used their drive thru and there were only 3 cars prior to me, which was perfect. I ordered an 8 pc. Nugget, Mac & cheese and tortilla soup. I enjoy their Polynesian sauce. Yum! Employees were kind & my order came out great. They were able to scan my reward QR code so I could get my points, which made me happy. But they had no idea what was going on with the app. It is a bit tricky coming out of this restaurant if you're going left.

The only thing that makes me feel like I can't eat this on a weekly basis, is the oiliness that collects from the chicken? Opening at 9 am on Saturday, this location of the famous Filipino chicken chain provides their…read morecomplete menu even for breakfast. It has been open for less than a year at their only Oregon location here at Hillsboro. On our last day in Portland, my wife, her mom, and I stopped in for fried chicken on our way to the airport. We were all jolly when we left. I've really come to appreciate the consistency of Jollibee's chicken fried chicken. Unlike some of their competitor's, where the chicken breading might be coming off because it has been sitting under a heat lamp too long, their chickenjoy breading is crispy and their meat juicy. All of us had already eaten breakfast at the hotel we had been staying at, so weren't particularly hungry. Thus, just got a 3 pc Cjoy combo meal ($18.49, no tax) with 3 pieces of spicy, dark meat chicken (2 drums, one thigh), a biscuit (fluffy and tasty), two sides (mash potatoes and fries) and fountain drink. It also comes with a cup of brown gravy, meant to be used as dip for the fried chicken. Brown gravy with fried chicken has become something I seek out now. The fries are very similar to McDonald's and the mashed potatoes to KFC. In both cases, that is a good thing. I got a pager and it went off about 10 minutes afterwards, so got up to bring the chicken back. They have a self serve soda fountain. It is expensive though for a fast food chain, with no value-type menu available yet. Fil-Ams are loyal to this chain, and seem to be OK with the slightly higher price. It will be interesting if they ever choose to expand, what they would do to draw in non-Filipinos.

Also, I asked for the half-and-half, but for some reason got all original wings, which was still really good but the spicy as far superior so I was a little disappointed. On top of that, my order was 15 minutes later when I got a text to pick up my order cause it was ready.

El Jefe Grill (Spanish for "the boss") isn't just another Mexican place for you to ignore, this is the real deal for street tacos and their signature fresh, mesquite grilled chicken. El Jefe opens at 8 am to tempt the breakfast crowd with giant burritos filled with bacon, sausage or chorizo. Come back for lunch and try the Taqueria side of the menu, all house made with fresh, quality ingredients, diverse fillings (birria, chicken, lengua, carnitas, al pastor (my personal fave) and even tripa). Along with flavorful salsas at the amazing salsa bar, El Jefe's preparation is simple and authentic. Our first visit we ordered the Whole Chicken Meal combo ($24): a whole perfectly seasoned and grilled chicken (cut up after grilling) with two sides and a pile of corn tortillas. We chose whole pinto beans & guacamole and chips. The chicken was fresh and we got one just off the grill. Juicy, tender, with perfectly charred skin. The whole beans were good but needed some seasoning, as did the guacamole. Plus we had enough for leftovers the next day. You order at the counter from the menu up on the wall. The place is small with a few tables inside but the outside seating area is covered and has heaters. I noted that the plastic panels can be removed for summertime when the weather is perfect for sitting outside. Everything is clean. Staff is knowledgeable and friendly. There's a small merch area where you can get an El Jefe T-shirt, travel mug or ball cap. Entrance is level, ADA accessible with no stairs or steps and your doggos are welcome in the outdoor area. Parking is easy and right outside the door. Definitely going to repeat a visit.

Prices - super reasonable - I can rationalize this instead of eating at home any day (thank you!)! Food was good! My husband got a chicken burrito; but with no rice or pico de gallo (he has the cilantro glitch) he said it was a bit dry. But I think that's his situation, not a general rule. I got the chicken tacos - they have all the sides and salsas you could ask for. YUM!!!! Beans and rice as a side - great! A two taco plate with rice and beans for $8. I'll do that any day of the week! I'd pass on the chips and guacamole in the future. Not needed. Thanks for a great lunch! And - we had zero samples at Costco and bought zero items we don't need!!

The owner is a (I think) a Japanese fellow and I believe everyone who works here is family. There's often a young girl at the counter who I suppose is his grand daughter. She is very sweet and very bubbly. You walk in and get a big smile and an enthusiastic hello. I only go now an then but she treats me like I am a regular she sees every day. I go up to the counter and she knows what I order... always chicken teriyaki. I don't have to say a thing. She rings me up and a few minutes later I have a hot, tasty meal in front of me. There are a few "rice bowl" type businesses in Cedar Mill and they are all good. But Kokos is the best! I'd encourage my fellow Yelpers to check them out if they haven't already. The prices are very fair especially for what you get. A filling, tasty, healthy meal. I don't know if they do this for everyone but the owner is always there and sometimes works the counter. He gives me the veterans discount which knocks a little off the usual, already low price. Plus I get double the meat so now it's a very inexpensive lunch in a container that is just packed with food. Hence the reason for this review refresh. I don't think they make much of a profit and being in the mall I'm sure their overhead is high. The folks there work very hard and likely don't get paid much. Dunno if they are native Americans or immigrants but they are living the American dream. I'm sure one day all that hard work will pay off and they will be very successful. But given how nice they are to me I'm sure they lose money every time I show up for lunch. So I very much appreciate their kindness and generosity. They don't make much money but they generate a lot of goodwill.... wanted to pay it forward in some small way by posting this glowing and well deserved five star review. I hope Kokos will be here for a long time. It's one of the few restaurants I can still afford to patronize. A nice meal that someone else cooks for me has become a rare treat in my life. So THANKS!
