My nephew told me to go try here after I realized Bubble n Tea was closed on Mondays. Took my two little kids after school a run from Happy Valley to Cedar Hills and was impressed with ChiCha with tasty drinks. I prefer the taiwanese style boba handcrafted beverages, so this place hit the spot to make my drive worthwhile without regret.

Hailing from Taiwan, ChiCha San Chen brings high quality ingredients together in delicious harmony. The tea quality is among the best in the city and drinks are brewed to order. The high mountain pouchong pairs particularly well with fruit flavors and the dong ding oolong is a great medium body balance to milk teas. Though the menu isn't expansive, they are focused on quality over quantity. Menu highlights include: * High Mountain Oolong with Passion Fruit * Dong Ding Tea Latte * Taro Latte While the standard menu is great, seasonal offerings like the summer peach series can be standouts. Even with many bubble tea choices in the area, ChiCha San Chen stands above most in almost every regard. Definitely worth many return visits!

Very artsy boba spot at Cedar Hill Crossing. They've definitely given boba their own unique touch, and I LOVE their drink holders with the twine handle, such a fun touch. I ordered the high mountain Pouchong tea with mango, and it was great. The boba was a little less firm than I'd prefer, but it was super fresh, which is a big plus.

ChiCha San Chen now has a location in Oregon and it is in the Beaverton area! This spot is located in a mall right next to Powell's bookstore. To get here, there is a parking lot with a good amount of parking spots. Inside, they have the same menu to go along with the modern and spacious setup as most of their other locations. This one however does not have a wait, which was a huge plus! I ended up getting the High Mountain Orange Pouchong Tea and wifey got the Dong Ding Oolong Tea with Fresh Milk. All of the staff here are friendly and welcoming. ChiCha San Chen welcome to Oregon!

Parking is plentiful and easy to find. The interior was so fragrant and nice. Ordering is done on a self serve kiosk. Dong ding oolong tea latte (5/5): so creamy. The boba was soft and chewy. The tea was so fragrant and the right sweetness. I opted for less sweet. Tap to pay is accepted. Portions are a little small but the quality is top notch. Overall, ChiCha San Chen is a top tier boba shop. Drinks are super high quality and rich.

Located next to a branch of Powell Books, ChiCha San Chen is a great stop to get milk tea before browsing. When we visited on a Saturday afternoon, the place was buzzing, with all tables taken, a number of people waiting for drinks, but no line to order (note: this location is a larger one and it's not nearly as busy as the one I visit most often up in Bellevue). They are busy but very efficient, pumping out drinks from four different specialized teaspresso spouts. We opted to only get one drink this visit since it was getting a little too late in the day for additional caffeine. Dong Ding Oolong w/ Cream, Perfect Sugar, Less Ice w/ Boba ($7.50) - This tea has strong, deep earthy flavors from the heavily oxidized tea leaves. It otherwise has an extremely creamy mouthfeel, very pleasant to sip on slowly. Less ice actually might not be enough - the ice melts before completely cooling the drink down. It's cool enough, but not ice-cold. Perfect sweetness is around 50% sweet compared to other shops, which is good for me. It's a good soft pleasant sweetness, not harsh in any way at all. The boba is pretty consistent with other locations (some are a little firmer, some a little softer, but the spread isn't very large with the worst rating I've given a 4, best a 5, and the typical being 4.5). The pearls are large and chewy with great bounce, albeit a little too firm for my tastes. It's probably partially due to not being marinated in as strong of a sweetener as top tier boba. Still very good. Milk Tea Rating: 5/5 Boba Rating: 4.5/5 Overall this Chicha San Chen is very consistent with other locations. It's a premium priced boba shop, but I think the extra money spent is worth the quality jump. Bathrooms - They have a bathroom code displayed at the counter but I couldn't find one in store. Instead, since this is in a mall, there are larger bathrooms just a minute or two walk down the hall.

I was surprised when I looked up "boba shops" in Portland to not only find a ChiCha, but a ChiCha without a huge crowd or line to wait in! I'm a Bay Area transplant and let me tell you....I dared not to go to the ChiCha in Cupertino because I valued my time and sanity. So ChiCha San Chen in Beaverton was my very first time there! And it definitely lives up to the hype. VERY tea forward drinks, the entire place smells deliciously fragrant with a pleasant aroma. Employees are super nice and usually offer a sample of a fruit tea or milk tea. My default is the Dong Ding Oolong Tea Latte with boba at perfect sweetness and no ice. The boba is always soft, sweet, and chewy - just perfect. I'm also a huge fan of the High Mountain Pouchong Tea with Mango on a warmer day! Why not 5 stars? I REALLYYY wish they had a loyalty program, and I wish their drinks were larger-sized. At nearly $7 a cup, I'd appreciate either of those features that some of my favorite tea shops seem to offer. I'll still happily patronize ChiCha though!

Very high-quality feel to this boba place. They spend a lot of time making each drink and making sure it's perfect. I ordered the bubble milk tea which was delicious but despite getting 100% sweetness it's not very sweet and doesn't have strong flavor, so if you're more into a mild tea flavor this is for you. I wouldn't study or do work here because it is often very busy with people walking through and a bit over-stimulating since its floor plan is one big long rectangle basically.

Finally got to try this boba spot! It's located in the Cedar Hills crossing shopping center. It's right near the movie theater. There are two entrances to the boba cafe. Walking in, I was taken back by the aesthetic. It had a clean, contemporary botanical vibe. The decor had circular plant engravings and a teapot array. There is a tablet to order off of and someone to take your order. There are display tvs with the menu and a booklet at the counter. I asked the employee what she recommend. She said green tea with crème. I added boba to it, coming out to $7.60. It did not take long for it to be ready. The drink came with a little string to carry. I loved my drink, it tasted so good. Best boba flavor I ever had.

Taro Milk Tea and Cassia Black Tea with honey and boba

This is my favorite boba spot in the area. Since the loose leaf teas are freshly brewed to order with a teasspresso machine, you have a wait a few minutes longer than other places. The menu includes green and black teas with a separate taro section and customizable options. I usually order the Taro Milk Tea (5 stars) with a black tea base. It includes taro paste that captures its true flavor rather than the sweeter and more purple versions elsewhere. The texture of the taro balls remind me of mochi. I also like the Orange High Mountain Pouchong Tea (5 stars) with boba. This combination highlighted the orange flavor more than the subtle green tea flavor. The Mango Green Tea (4 stars) with boba had a nice floral flavor. My husband's go to order is the Cassia Black Tea (4 stars) with honey and boba. The staff knows their menu well and can make recommendations if you are not sure. They usually offer a featured tea to sample. They keep the space clean and consistently provided 4 star service.

In a hot summer day, a cup of cold drink helps to keep hydrated and the fruit tea is making me feel refreshed. The shop uses a self-ordered machine for customers to place orders. You can pickup your drink when they call your number or name.

A haiku review: Sadly a two star Thick sludge lies at the bottom Taro lacks color The "perfect" sweetness, Tastes like there is no sugar Chunky and grainy Ordered for a sweet Yet flavor's giving health beverage Drink was a bit warm

There are two kiosks for easy ordering. We walked in just a couple of minutes after they opened on a Monday and were the first customers inside. House Blend Pearl Milk Tea, 10% Sweet, 30% Ice w/ Boba ($6.25) - I'll start by saying that 10% is not nearly enough for this drink, totally unlike the Lynnwood location where anything over 10% sweet is cloyingly sweet for me. I ended up asking for a small cup of syrup on the side and titrated the drink until I thought it was sweet enough. My guess is that it took until around 50% sweet. With that out of the way, the flavor is identical to what I've had before. Rich malty taste with plenty of body. It's a very solid milk tea. This hechalou only has sugar syrup soaked boba, not a choice of honey or brown sugar boba as in Lynnwood. My guess is this is one of the reasons why the sweetness level is so different. Probably honey and/or brown sugar soak adds more sweetness to the drink than whatever soak they use here. The boba is a little firmer than Lynnwood and isn't as flavorful. Still miles ahead of most boba shops in the US though. Milk Tea Rating: 4.5/5 Boba Rating: 4.5/5 Osmanthus Oolong Milk Tea, 10% Sweet, 30% Ice w/ Boba ($7.05) - Again, this one isn't sweet enough and I had to add more sugar. The drink itself is strongly flowery, again very consistent with the other location. It's a very solid drink. Milk Tea Rating: 4.5/5 This location of Hechalou still serves some top tier drinks. I'll just have to remember the next time I visited to get 50% sweet rather than 10%. Bathrooms - Single unisex room.

The matcha flavor is very earthy and leans more bitter than sweet, which I personally enjoyed. However, if you're not a fan of strong earthy matcha flavors, you may want to try a different waffle option instead. The tea was really good as well. I ordered mine with regular boba, but I've heard their jelly is actually the highlight, so I'll definitely have to try that next time. The cafe seems really popular with families and is also a great spot to hang out with friends. If you prefer not to order at the counter, they also have kiosks available for self-ordering.

I fell in love with boba tea almost 15 years ago when I taught at The Transfiguration School on Confucius Plz and since then, I try having it nearly everywhere I go. So when my daughter suggested we come here after a non-stop day of coffee table window shopping for her apartment during my Easter Break '24, this was the pause we seriously needed. Sharetea has an edgy and raw layout with concrete floors, cement-looking wall tiles and other industrial style touches. This is the place to chitchat with friends, family- like my daughter and I did- or even get a tea solo. But do know that when the queue is big, don't despair- it flows. In fact, when we were here, timing was on our side because it seems as if Sharetea rented(?) a small space upfront to a mini crotchet accessory pop-up shop run by a local artisan. I was loving it because as my kid and I waited for our drinks, I purchased 2 crotchet flower hair pins nicely priced. As far as our drinks go, our usual go-to flavors were insanely delicious.
