Service was excellent. We came here after a birthday hike for a meal. I'm vegan and my mom isn't but she raved about the food. We had the Jacknbox dupe tacos and a mushroom melt. It was delicious and we were stuffed! I also had a cucumber aquas frescos which was lightly sweetened and so refreshing. We shared a piece of tres leches cake which was devine. My hubby and kiddies surprised me for Mommas Day by taking me here. First, it completely passes the vibe check. It's fun, superhero atmosphere gave me some uplifting feels. The service was great. She was friendly and made some good recommendations. Okay. The food had mixed reviews from my familia. I had the mushroom patty melt and for reals....it was so freaking good. It was a lil messy due to the gooey cheese, but since I have had dairy in years...it brought some happy tears to my eyes to be able to eat something like this again. Flavor was spot on and I was bummed when I finish because I wanted it to last longer. My son who is also dairy free had the chili burger and he absolutely loved it. The tres leches cake - I will.be dreaming about that baby for weeks!! The rest of my family are meat/dairy eaters, so they said the food was okay. The only thing that was not the best was the carne asada specialty nachos. Unfortunately it is extremely difficult to get meat to resemble carne asada and my son was not having it. I tasted it as well and the texture was not the best. Very chewy. Other than that meal - it was delicious. Well, I've heard about this place and wanted to check it out since my niece owns a vegan grubbery restaurant in West Palm Beach called La Chica Vegana so if you're ever in that area be sure abd check her out. I've had my eyes and interest on this place for a while, finally made my move and feel complete. Heavily impressed by the food, the Cali Dreamin' burger hit home. We got one as impossible and one beyond (no lettuce) - both with fries. Similar in taste for the burgers, decently seasoned fries, priced ok for the plate. Also got a side of the Mac N Cheese in their cashew cheese. That improved my whole afternoon. I'd like to try one of their burritos next and see how they put those together. Chicana is our favorite place to go. If this place ever closed I would genuinely be distraught. It's so hard to find amazing Mexican food that is vegan and this place is IT. Not to mention all of the other amazing stuff they offer. The chicken sandwich they have right now is absolutely to die for. I hope it makes its way into the permanent menu, it's that good. Chicana Vegana is quite a find. The mexgogi tacos are flavorful and complex. Cheerful service and great are make it a fun place to dine on or take out. If they would get rid of the seed oils and move to olive, coconut, or avocado they would be a regular stop and fully 5 stars. read more

Plenty of seating. Parking is easy. The variety on thee u is good. I chose nachos -protein was carnitas. Flavor was good the ooziness of cheese was good. I added more salsa. Also the Salsas are in house made. I also ordered the mexogolgi taco. That was Delish the sweetness and texture of the meat mimicked meat close. The balance was great. First time trying this while I was in Fullerton waiting on the train. I've heard of vegan spots with a similar name so I nearly skipped over them until I checked out their menu. They have chili cheese! If you've been vegan/vegetarian long enough, you know 'animal style' burger/fries are common, while plant-based chili cheese is more rare. So that immediately caught my attention and warranted a try. The decor and ambiance of this place is nice. They have patio/outdoor seating around the corner and a handful of tables and chairs and tables inside. A nice sized, clean restroom. This isn't a big place, but it's very efficient in that they clearly make the most of everything they do have so it doesn't feel lacking in any way. I had to order the things that I feel really show the measure of a vegan restaurant-mac n cheese, jr cheeseburger, chili cheeseburger, chili cheese fries and the basic breakfast sandwich. I wanna know that your cheeseburger is actually cheesy, same with the mac. Also, how is the cheese, does it have an aftertaste? Is it spot on? Does the breakfast sandwich remind me of the egg McMuffin I grew up loving-I know, I know, we shouldn't be comparing. mac-more soupy than creamy (like Panera) but has a distinguishable taste that is unique to this spot. I enjoyed it. jr cheeseburger-this is juicy. Not bad, just not what I was expecting, not my fav Chili cheeseburger and fries- The chili is on point. The fries are also perfect, nearly made me wish I had a separate order of regular fries to enjoy on their own. I would order both again and add extra cheese. That is what I felt was missing, not enough taste of cheese whether on the jr cheeseburger, or with the chili cheese to balance out the chili. Mexmuffin sandwich-worked for me. I'd ask for grape jelly next time if they have it. Customer service I didn't have an issue with as I ordered online and I think they were training their cashier. Overall, this place is small but mighty. I live about an hour away but would gladly make the drive because this place has a unique menu, what they do they do well enough and I think I heard they have a rewards system (I may be wrong) and I want to order loads more. read more

Loooved this spot! Found myself in Fullerton for the day and couldn't resist stopping at this cute and fun vegan restaurant! I ordered the asada fries and the Cali dreamin burger and wow!! So so delicious!! The burger was bursting with flavor and the fries were cooked just right with all of the most flavorful ingredients on top. I also ordered a small caesar salad, because who can resist!? And that was just as good as everything else! Even my fiancé loved his Wild West burger! They even have horchata for the pup to sip on! First time trying the breakfast burrito I bought the OG breakfast burrito. It was amazing spectacular damn it was good. I ordered it to go and ate it on the road and even 15 to 20 minutes later it was still hot. Love the chipotle salsa. All I can say is this is my favorite breakfast burrito from all the vegan ones I've tried. you can't go wrong with the decorations here. It has a good feel. We were in the area for the first time on Saturday. I looked up all the vegan spots nearby and Chicana Vegana's tres leches cake caught my eye immediately. Glad I listened to my eyes, the cake was exactly as I expected and the rest of our order was too. Plenty of parking around, even though it's a very busy and active location. Nice vibe all around. My 5 yr old daughter loved the art on the walls, she felt like a superhero herself. Very good Vegan restaurant, the place is very clean, and the food is amazing. This isn't just for vegans, it's for anyone that enjoys good mex & american food. The only flaw (for me only) seems to be the beans and the spices they use. I dislike the herb they use, wish the beans were cooked with salt only and no other herbs.
