Deep dish pizza with pepperoni and black olives.

Love ordering from here. Wings were spicy hot and ranch dressing was not bad. Pizza was the best! The crust was buttery. The pizza sauce was perfect. The BBQ beef was tasty The BBQ sauce is tangy. The delivery driver was friendly. It was much cheaper than expected.

OMG!! I love CPA! It's my first stop every time I come to Chicago and it never fails. The best pizza by far. Freshest ingredients and Midwest cheese that I just can't get in L.A. Definitely recommend this spot if you're ever in in my home town. The service is great and you'll want to end the meal with either a brownie or chocolate chunk cookie!!!

Not too bad! Ordered deliver, came pretty quick. The pizza was pretty good too. I didn't like the crust too much and there definitely wasn't enough sauce but it was pretty average. I don't think I'll be ordering from here again but it really wasn't horrible.

Food is good, but ever since Melanie left, the service has suffered. Also, the manager is an idiot. They got my last order wrong.

The pizza is fantastic with a perfectly cooked crust, and the vodka rigatoni is one of my favorite dishes--rich, creamy, and full of flavor. We've also appreciated the variety of daily specials, which always give us a reason to try something new. If you're looking for great casual Italian food, this is definitely the place to go. The food is consistently excellent, the atmosphere is welcoming, and it's the kind of local restaurant you'll find yourself coming back to again and again. Highly recommend!

Italian food is our most favorite cuisine. Many Italian restaurants are fancy high price place restaurants. We were excited to find a casual Italian restaurant where the emphasis is on serving delicious food rather than having a fancy setting. The fried zucchini with homemade ranch dressing was very good. Be sure to ask for additional parmesan cheese to sprinkle on it. The rigatoni with vodka sauce was very good. I had the Buratta salad with red pepper strips and balsamic glaze. I would order this again. One minor point. The salad greens were about 50% spinach leaves and then the other 50% was mixed lettuce. For me, that was too much spinach. Their balsamic dressing was perfect for this salad. I wish we lived closer to this restaurant. I would come here very.often.

The suburbs don't usually inspire much confidence when someone tells you they're taking you out for…read morepizza. More often than not, you're looking at another tavern-cut pie, a dozen televisions screaming sports highlights, and a menu designed by committee. Safe. Predictable. Forgettable. Then there's Woodfire. I ended up here with my family celebrating my son's second birthday and was immediately reminded that every now and then, hidden among the endless strip malls and chain restaurants of the Chicago suburbs, you'll stumble across a place that actually gives a damn. The Vodka Pizza arrived looking almost too good to touch. Almost. Hot Calabrian vodka sauce. Fresh mozzarella. Shallot. Pepperoni. Ricotta. Basil. A combination that sounds familiar enough until that first bite lands and the heat punches through. Not the fake, watered-down, suburban version of spicy that restaurants use to avoid frightening anyone. This pizza has conviction. It has backbone. The Calabrian peppers make their presence known immediately and refuse to apologize for it. Good. Food should have an opinion. The crust, charred, blistered, beautifully imperfect, comes from house-made dough cooked in a wood-fired oven that sits like the beating heart of the restaurant. Every pie carries those little marks of fire that remind you an actual human being made it. Not a conveyor belt. Not a timer. Fire. Flour. Skill. And speaking of things that deserve respect, let's talk about the bar. Kevin has become something of a local legend in Dundee. The kind of bartender whose name gets mentioned before the cocktail list. The kind of guy who understands that making drinks isn't about pouring alcohol into a glass. It's hospitality, theater, craftsmanship, and just enough mischief to keep things interesting. Still chasing the heat from the pizza, I ordered the Spicy Flamingo. A dangerous drink. Sweet enough to invite you in. Spicy enough to keep you paying attention. The kind of cocktail that disappears faster than you intended and leaves you contemplating a second before the first one is gone. Around us, bussers moved through the dining room like a pit crew at Daytona. Tables were cleaned before they looked dirty. Empty glasses vanished. New guests were seated. The machine never stopped moving. Then there's Chef Mason. It's obvious someone in that kitchen understands the difference between cooking food and feeding people. There's technique here. Knowledge. Discipline. But thankfully none of the self-important nonsense that infects so many restaurants once they start believing their own press. Woodfire isn't trying to change your life. It's not trying to educate you. It's not trying to be the coolest restaurant in the room. Like Ferris Bueller, it understands that life moves pretty fast. So instead of chasing trends, it focuses on making exceptional handmade pizza, memorable pasta, serious cocktails, and creating a place where people actually want to spend an evening. In a world full of restaurants desperately trying to be something, Woodfire succeeds by simply being exactly what it is. And that's a hell of a lot rarer than it should be.

Woodfire fits naturally into the heart of Dundee -- relaxed, welcoming, and easy to enjoy. The…read morepizza is the highlight, bringing a fun, flavorful approach that works well for both casual nights out and group dinners. The pasta and appetizers are solid across the board, and the drinks round out the experience nicely. White Cottage has great food at reasonable prices, and I have always appreciated the quality and…read morevalue they provide. However, listening carefully to customers is just as important as serving great food! I recently called to make a simple change to a catering order, requesting that the potatoes be replaced with green beans. I specifically repeated, "No potatoes, please. Replace the potatoes with green beans." Unfortunately, my request was not handled correctly, and I was charged an additional $30 for a tray of green beans instead of having the original side substituted. As a result, my students ended up eating the same sides they had the previous day, and I incurred an additional $30 charge that I never requested or authorized. This situation could have easily been avoided if the employee had taken the time to listen carefully and repeat the updated order back to me for confirmation. My suggestion to the White Cottage team is simple: Please listen carefully, repeat orders back to customers, and confirm any additional charges before processing changes. I truly enjoy your food and appreciate your affordable pricing, but customer service and clear communication are essential, especially when handling catering orders. I hope this feedback helps improve the ordering experience moving forward.

The South Elgin location is located off Randall Rd. We went on a Friday night to take advantage of their Happy Hour drink specials. Beers 3.25 and Martinis 5.25. They also have a wine special. Our server (Sage) was super friendly and did not rush us even tho they were pretty busy. (And loud) We had their cheese fries as an appetizer and they were fresh and not greasy at all. My wife had the 10 inch GF Supreme pizza and I had the 12 inch Sausage Pizza. Both were loaded with cheese and had good flavor. There was more than enough for leftovers. Prices are very reasonable. With another location in St. Charles,Riverside Pizza and Pub is definitely worth a place to checkout when in the Western suburbs.

His service was great and he was eventually assisted by another server. -Wife said ribs were really good. -The kids demolished their spaghetti. -My italian beef was.....look, you just can't get a good italian beef around here. But it was okay. -The pizza....sorry, also only okay (V&V is still the best tavern style pizza in this whole area). All that's fine, this place is definitely somewhere you wanna belly up to the bar and watch a game or chill on the patio with friends. THE PROBLEM: On their website and a lot of other "kids eat free" sites, they list Sundays as kids eat free. In this economy, I appreciate that and we'll usually hit these places up. When our check came and we saw the kids meals charged, we asked and were told, "yeah they haven't updated the website in years." I didn't really want to make a big stink out of them still not honoring the deal because my man was having a tough time, so we tipped accordingly and agreed not to go back. A shame because since moving here 5 years ago, we really want to support local businesses and after finally trying Dannys, the food isn't good enough to bring us back. Having said that, they have a really great beer selection so maybe I'll head back solo or with a buddy to watch the game. But family nights and/or dinner? I'm out!

$40 for THIS? Twice. Never again…read more Let me be very clear I paid $40 for this pizza. FORTY DOLLARS. And this is what showed up at my door, AGAIN. Cheese slid completely off, toppings everywhere, looking like it was kicked down the street before delivery. Check my photos. This isn't an exaggeration. This is the SECOND time this has happened. Same restaurant. Same disaster. Same result. When I called to get this addressed, the manager got on the phone and had the audacity to be dismissive, rude, and deflect blame onto the delivery app instead of taking any responsibility whatsoever. No apology. No refund. No basic customer service. Nothing. Just attitude and excuses. $40 is real money. People work hard for that. To spend it on food that looks like this AND be treated like your complaint doesn't matter is beyond disrespectful. Whoever is managing this place needs to be replaced immediately because the food quality AND the customer service are both failing, and clearly nothing is being done about it. Do yourself a favor and spend your $40 somewhere that actually respects your business. Never. Again. Photos are time stamped
