Our office probably orders from there twice a month. Pizza is great, beef is great and sandwiches are great, but we normally end up with salads. The salads are huge, and so worth the money. The chicken is always moist, and tasty. The toppings are always fresh, and the ranch is amazing. Today, i called, and the gentleman that answered the phone was so cheery, and actually made me laugh. Yes this pizza rocks. Really flavorful, awesome crust, good sauce and they use enough. Extensive menu with plenty of great italian food plus a killer burger too. I am a pizza expert and in fact own a pizza place and this is as good as mine, yes I eat at other pizza joints too because I love pizza. And in like to spread the love. My wife and I love this place. It's one of our favorites to go out and eat at due to their good food and good prices. They have a pizza deal that's awesome and keeps us coming back (med 1 topping pizza, 2 salads or soup, and 2 soft drinks for 20 bucks) Can't beat that! Just make sure you ask for 'easy sauce' if you don't like sauce loaded on your pizza. The new location is very cozy and the big booths are very comfortable to relax and enjoy a great meal. Terrible customer service. Always messing up orders and that female manager is terrible at handling situations. They charge extra for crushed peppers and parmesan and they don't infom you that you are being charged. They don't deserve my business and my pizza loving self will take it somewhere else. read more

Normally we order carryout from this place but decided to eat in this time. The dining area is small with 4 booths and a handful of tables but it is clean. There was only one waitress for the dining room, but it wasn't a big deal since it wasn't busy. We decided to order pizza (one cheese and one sausage, onion, jalapeno). Pizza came out after a reasonable wait time and tasted great. The crust was crisp, the sauce flavorful, and the toppings plenty. My wife and I usually order our pizza from CPA and believe it to be quite good. The other night we ordered a pan pizza and an Italian beef with sweet peppers from CPA in Round Lake. After it was delivered and we opened our order and found the Italian beef was actually BBQ beef, yes it had a sweet red sauce that tasted just like BBQ sauce. On another note, the menu states the Italian beef sandwich is piled high with meat, guess what, there was not enough meat to even cover the roll. My wife called the store and got absolutely nowhere with the person on the phone. My wife then asked to speak with a manager and that was to no avail. We were told that the vegetables (sweet peppers) are cooked in a red sauce, which is a ketchup base. That to me is BBQ sauce and no one can convince me otherwise. We got nowhere with the manager either, I honestly believe I was sent the BBQ beef sandwich (by mistake) and not the Italian beef which was ordered. There was no attempt to correct the problem or offer a credit, just a hang up. Guess what? CPA is not the only pizza store in this area and they will NEVER see another order from my family. If you are looking for some good home made pizza then look no further. I used to work at this place and I can tell you that each pizza is made fresh and with care. The owner is super friendly and the new location feels nice and cozy to dine in. The biggest downside is the appetizers. Personally I think they are all bad and should be steered cleared from, but this is a pizza joint and they got that nailed down. read more

This review is for the lunch Buffett. They score much better for delivery We arrived, there were about 7 people in the place already. Not exactly packed. The salad bar had no green salad. The soup had no spoons available (had to drink it out of the cup). The main draw, the pizza buffett, had three small pieces of pizza on it. The service was slow. When we saw our server about 20 minutes in, she We asked about there being no pizza and she said she thinks some was in the oven. We're coming up on 30 minutes this point, and no more pizza. Meager salad, soup without a spoon and breadsticks are lunch. Unable to wait any longer and needing to return to work, we had to hunt down our server, who vanished again and eventually went to the cashier up front to pay. I do not like to write BAD reviews, but I feel the time is NOW. While the pizza might be good the delivery service STINKS - IT IS PITIFUL!! 5 times, I repeat 5 times, I have tried to set up an automatic delivery and billing system with the CPA in Elgin. Each and every time the restaurant "blows" it, forgets it, no delivery, can't find the building, etc. CPA is very apologetic. A system is set up AGAIN and AGAIN no deliveries. I have had many conversations with management and still the NO SERVICE persists. The deliveries were to be sent to my brother in a nursing home and he BLAMES ME for the lack of delivery. I had to feed 80 people yesterday for lunch and I was lucky to be able to have Randy's help throughout the entire process. I changed my mind as to what I wanted to order probably at least 3 times and he was great! Always friendly and very helpful. Had never heard of this place before walking in, so I was hesitant to try it. Good thing I did. The service was superb, and the pizza slice was bigger than my plate. Just ordered for the first time from here and it will be the last. First off said 45 minutes for delivery and it took a little over an hour. Then the driver calls and can't find my house. They don't have a map in that place or better yet the driver doesn't have a smart phone to use gps. He would rather call and disturb me. Then the pizza arrives and its compketely floppy soggy mess. The sauce went way over the edges leaving no crust whatsoever. A wet noodle has more structure to it than a slice of this soggy mess. I called just to ask to be credited for the missing sausage yet they credited me for the whole Ziti dinner, even though I asked them to only credit me for the sausage! I received a CPA menu in the mail late last week and decided to give you a try last week. I could not be more disappointed. First, your website does not take your coupons that are attached to your menu. Second, I placed my order online and did not receive the email confirmation but the website gave me a confirmation number so i just went with it. An hour later when my order has not arrived (and my children were whining that they were starving) I was not really all that alarmed being the website gave me a 40-45 minute window and it was wet and raining outside. One hour and 15 minutes later your RUDE delivery driver called stating that he was lost. I attempted to get him turned around in the right direction but he hung up on me. I proceed to call CPA and ask to speak to the manager on duty. The gentleman I spoke with apologized and offered to give me credit. Today my account has been debited- no credit posted and I had to rewarm the COLD pizza yesterday. I attempted to email via your website and guess what that does not work either!! My husband & I have ordered from CPA in the past & LOVE the pizza. Our favorite is The Family with the double dough crust. The major downside is the price - it is SO expensive and we can order a VERY good pizza from Geno Nottolini's just around the corner for about 2/3 the cost (depending on the size - Geno's offers their Ultimate 20" for $29 where the 18" of The Family at CPA is $29 - smaller & with one less ingredient) BUT since I just accepted a new position today with a decent pay increase, we decided to stay in & celebrate with CPA. I had received a special "10% off" coupon via email last week and decided it was excellent timing - so we placed an order for a salad, a large The Family pizza (with double crust & adding tomatoes), a 2-liter of Coke, and some breadsticks (a total of $47.74 - including the $3.00 delivery & $3.79 tax). I let the representative know that I had a coupon for 10% off (bringing the total to about $45 with delivery & tax) and offered to provide the code but that my printer wasn't working. She said that there was no way that they could accept my coupon & that I needed "to find a way to print out the coupon." Yeah. Really?? There was no exception and maybe it was silly to cancel my entire order for just $3.00, but I felt that it was extremely rude. Do you go home (or to the library or wherever) to print out a lousy coupon you received online? Who requires physical coupons in 2015? The grocery store. Well, I guess we'll be ordering from Geno Nottolini's tonight. They have a 10% off coupon and a $3.00 off coupon that I can choose from - depending upon whichever one works for me (& I don't have to print it out!).
