More detail: After reading reviews and reaching out in the beginning, I heard back from Daryl virtually immediately, and he was very helpful in determining next steps. I appreciated that he rightly focused on evaluating the recurring flooding and mold growth by encouraging me to firstly address the root of the issue, otherwise any work done regarding mold would merely be temporary. So, after "Tetris-ing" some other needed steps to fall into place, I reached back out and the process began. Vance came out to my home and did his initial evaluation, and while I had let the situation get out of hand and was visibly struggling with dealing with the situation, he noticed this and was both realistic and reassuring in his interactions with me. This was a common theme throughout, and after multiple days of mold remediation and removal, I was thoroughly impressed with how Vance, Manny, and co. were in every aspect of this project. This applies to their efficacy in completing the job effectively, which is not a walk in the park, as well as in their ability to communicate as noted above. (With regard to value: I honestly don't get tons of quotes for this kind of thing as a pastime, so I don't have much to compare it to. What I will say is that I tend to have a reasonably accurate Spidey-Sense™ for pricing of a whole bunch of stuff in general, and everything always felt very reasonably priced for the physically and mentally-demanding work entrusted to the crew.) Because of RRR, I got to say goodbye to the mold, and I would recommend them wholeheartedly to anyone. Used RRR twice of the course of a few weeks for separate incidents. The first time a toilet…read moreoverflowed from my upstairs into our vent and then dripped to the below ceiling. The cleanup crew was out within 24 hours and had the issue mitigated. Vance was awesome and very friendly. The crew to fix the damage was out the start of the next week and repaired the same day (I forgot the gentleman's name but also very friendly).. A few weeks later a neighbors fridge water line failed causing water to leak into my kitchen. I called the same team who fixed my bathroom, this time they were out within 3 hours to assess damage. The next day a crew was out to mitigate, with repair morning after. When you have to do this work it's very stressful, especially when you lose part of your kitchen for a time. But the RRR crew was great to work with, patient with my questions, and accommodating to requests (including wearing masks as I had a 2-week old newborn at home). I've used another service (CWF) and did not have the same experience at all.

I scheduled an appointment and had a nice gentlemen named Diego come out. Due to mold we had an environmental study performed by an expert firm, he wanted a copy so I emailed it to him. There is significant damage and Diego also was suggesting other services such as drywall removal repair etc. I told him to get me the quote for the mold removal as that was urgent and I had already been told that I should not use areas of my home due to the mold. when he left he said he'd get me a quote by the end of the week. End of the week came and went, I waited another week thinking ok maybe they wanted to read the environmental report. NOTHING. So I called a left a voicemail, no return call, I sent Diego a email at his ecoclean address, NOTHING. SO they came out and wasted my valuable time when response is urgent due to mold, even if they called back at this point I dont trust their services. Even if they are not qualified to do the work, how hard is it to return a call and say this is out of our area of expertise. Very unprofessional.

I was never told my built-ins would be completely removed, I only discovered it after the fact. Had I known, I could have arranged for proper removal, but instead they were torn out in a way that left them unsalvageable, costing me thousands to replace. Afterward, the company pointed to the notes fine print rather than acknowledging the lack of communication. If you use them, insist on a clearly explained scope of work. If you rely on professionals to help you navigate confusing home repairs, like myself, these aren't your guys. I only reached out to Adam directly later, after another contractor told me the closet could have been saved and that the removal was "unnecessarily destructive." Whether that's true or not, I'll never know. because I wasn't given the chance to find out. To clarify, the note about the built-ins wasn't hidden in "fine print," but it was only mentioned once in the "Other Notes" section. It was never discussed verbally, by email, or over the phone, and it wasn't included in the detailed action items. I don't think a single mention buried in a notes section qualifies as meaningful disclosure, especially when no one pointed it out or explained its implications. Perhaps Adam does. Lastly, the other points raised, like the quality of the closet materials, water damage, or insurance support, are not relevant to my concern.
