First I will tell you they are professionals, they take their work serious. The way I found this company is through my AI app. It rated this company first of the top five companies it had suggested. I called the company for information about their service, after our conversation I was satisfied that this was the company that was going to remove the mold and asbestos from my daughter's newly purchased house. We called the company to get an estimate on 800 sq ft of asbestos tile removal. We asked Bluestone to come out and look at an area an inspector identified as "possible asbestos". As it turned out, there was no asbestos to be found. So while we did not contract them for removal, the process to book them for an estimate was seamless, and the two gentleman that came out to look were on time, professional, and friendly. I had asbestos tiles with this nasty, impossible to budge black asbestos mastic adhering them to my basement floor. My plan was to encase the asbestos tiles under some ceramic tiles, but unfortunately I've had seepage in my foundation, so I scrapped that idea in lieu of removing the asbestos tiles and mastic completely and doing a simple concrete and epoxy basement floor. It was not that easy to find an abatement company and I had to make a lot of calls. Bluestone was professional and experienced and inspired confidence through the whole process. Ron Miller was my estimator and he was on time and knew his stuff. I obtained 3 estimates and Bluestone came in the lowest. Another company was also able to complete the work in one day, however they were a lot more expensive. A third company was a little more expensive than Bluestone and there was a 3 week waiting period. That company was a one-man shop and it would have taken him several days to do the job. I know my job was on the more difficult side due to the cement-like mastic. Additionally, my house is a construction zone with no working bathroom, but none of this was a problem for Bluestone. They told me they routinely abate homes with no running water or electricity. They are experts. Their team was able to remediate my entire basement which is quite large in less than one day. There was no damage to the drywall we had just installed. Everything was cleaned beautifully. They have several abatement teams and will be able to do your job quickly. Bought a foreclosed house whom the company who performed the mold remediation originally did not 100% do there job so I had to call several mold companies to came over and give out an estimate. I hired this company to remove asbestos tiles from my house. They came and gave me an estimate. I was told i only need to remove the kitchen cabinets and they will take care of the rest. When they came to do the job they dislocated the banister because some of the tile went an inch under. If they had told me before i would've removed it carefully myself, just like the cabinets, so it doesn't get damaged in the process. They also did not call me while working to ask me how they want me to proceed with it. After talking with their office and sending them pictures, they still did not want to take anything off the price so i can pay my flooring guy to fix it. They just said your flooring guy can fix it. Of course he can. But for every extra job he does, i have to pay. When i asked them to get the upstairs air checked, i paid them extra. As they should, for something they messed up. I don't understand how they can be so unreasonable. read more
