The team did a awesome job using some state of the art ceramics. The ceramic coat on the paint creates a deep lustrous shine. I have had black cars before and none had the deep gloss of my GV60 with Gtechniq Crystal Serum. The finish repels water and dirt. Super easy to clean and then dry with a leaf blower. Like RainX, the coating on the windows sheds water with little need for wipers. What I was very pleasantly surprised by is how effective the ceramic tinting of windows and windshield turned out. It is not just hype. This stuff really blocks the heat. If you hate getting into a hot car in the summer, this is your solution. I was suspicious of putting it on the windshield, but the ceramic tint does not impair visibility in any way and blocks the infrared as advertised. To comply with Chicago regulations I did 50% on the front windows. Once again blocks the heat but not the view along with sufficient privacy when viewed from the exterior. Not cheap, but a worthy investment on an expensive vehicle. I highly recommend. read more

I recently got my MYP tinted by Chicago Auto Pros and came out great! It was a great experience and smooth process. Dom was responsive and super helpful with answering all the questions I had. I debated between the window tints and he offered some great recommendations and insight to help me with my choice. The job took longer than expected but they were communicative and let me know they were a bit short staffed that day. They gave me an update on the status and estimated completion time. Price is probably a bit higher than some others but worth it for the professionalism and attention to detail they had. I struggled a bit with this review. I had my service here over 6 months ago and wanted to wait until my own emotions cooled before evaluating this company. I brought my 2021 BMW m340i here shortly after purchase for tints, PPF, and ceramic coating. This was a pretty expensive and time consuming amount of work and following my research, Chicago Auto Pros was the best option in the area. I worked with Ron, who was very clear and professional in giving me estimates and information during the buying process. After taking the car in for the work, I was initially sent update videos on the work every couple days as it progressed and everything looked good. My initial estimate was 9 days I believe. I dropped off the car on a Saturday and was informed that the work would be completed the following Monday. Towards the end of the week I stopped receiving many updates and was informed that the work would be completed the following Wednesday. Here's where it gets interesting. My pick up date was moved once again to Thursday. I received a call that day and was told that a lamp had fallen from the ceiling and dented the door. To be completely transparent, this was a brand new car with less than 100 miles so I was very upset. Ron was very apologetic and gracious and explained that they were going to take the car to the best luxury body shop in the area to resolve the problem, at the shops expense. This work meant that they had to redo the ceramic coating and the work wouldn't be done for another week. Obviously this whole situation sucks for them and myself. I asked about a discount both over the phone and through email and ultimately only received a 5% discount. I was told that they couldn't offer more due to the expense of the repairs. This irked me as I feel that the shop should have insurance for such scenarios and damage to a brand new car, with added delays of another week, should warrant additional accommodation and compensation. When I finally picked up the car, everyone at the shop was very apologetic and kind. The work was excellent. I have one small bubble on the rear window near the defrost lines, but otherwise the work is very good. The PPF has cured wonderfully and I've enjoyed the hyrdophobic nature of the ceramic coating. My only issue that causes me to leave 4 stars instead of 5 is the way the problem was handled. I believe I should have received a much larger discount than 5%. I'd expect when something like this happens for them to use their insurance and and sacrifice their margin. It was disappointing to hear them use the argument that the cost of their negligence effected the discount i would receive as a customer. Also I don't think lights randomly fall off the ceiling on cars but that's pure speculation. All in all, the repairs were perfect and the work was very well done. If I were to get another car done with the same service in the future I would still seriously consider these guys. However, I couldn't ultimately leave 5 stars here due to the issues I had and the way it was handled. I'm somewhat torn on 4 but I really respect this business and enjoy their content on YouTube and their obvious passion for the work. Still, everyone makes mistakes and it's important how they are handled. All in all this is a very good business and I hope my review is helpful for evaluating how they operate going forward. read more

I drove my Red Tesla Model S straight to them upon delivery in 2017. They first inspected the factory finish and corrected imperfections and buffed out swirls. I had them apply an XPEL Ultimate full body wrap plus Modesta BC-04 coating on entire exterior, except the wheels, which are coated with high temperature Modesta BC-06. I consider myself EXTREMELY OCD when it comes to my car, but Jason definitely took it to another level :P After having full frontal Xpel installed at their Glen Ellyn location, I went to Glenview to have my 2015 M3 (fresh from European Delivery) prepped for Opti-Gloss. He took care of some faint swirls on the B-pillars and imperfections the car picked up (that I didn't even see!) while I toured around Munich and autobahn. His level of accuracy, attention to detail, and carefulness was exceptional. Furthermore, Jason aims to please the customer. Because the entire job was close to 4 hours, he was more than gracious enough to let me borrow his personal car while I ran errands. Talk about customer service =D !! But the grand finale was when I returned. As I pulled into their shop I saw my car glimmering in the sun; his absolutely wonderful job easily surpassed the factory level paint finish when I originally saw my car at the Welt! I had my windows tinted originally at abt but after the install I had issues with squeaking noises and the tints getting scratched. After doing some research I found out my car had really tight weather stripping and the only way of doing the tints would be to add a felt liner and to take off the door panels.....abt didn't do that. Found out these guys did and now I don't have any issues!!! I was so happy I also got ceramic coating done too!! These guys do great work and care about your car!! These guys are top notch. I threw a lot of work at them and they executed perfectly. I brought in a very special vehicle, my 2020 GT500. So it was important I found a place that I knew I could trust that has experience handling these special types of vehicles. After extensive research and asking around, Chicago auto Pros in glenview was the clear choice. I had window tints done, full vehicle PPF and ceramic coating put on. Quite a large job and I couldn't be happier. The paint correction they conducted was outstanding, every little imperfection was removed and the paint is flawless. You can't see a single seam or line with the PPF, you cant even tell it's there. The car shines and looks better than the day I picked it up at the dealership. If you're looking for the cheapest place, these guys probably aren't it, but if you're looking for the best place that will do the best quality work, these guys are it. The process beginning to end in getting my Tesla M3 windows tinted was very positive. After submitting a request for a quote I received a phone call the next morning that was more of a consultation than a sales call. After finally taking delivery of my car, I immediately scheduled an appointment to tint the side, back and windshield of my new car. I am extremely happy with how the windows turned out. I did however have a slight issue at pickup. I was informed that the cameras stopped working. Having the car for only three days, I was very concerned and had several questions. The team at Chicago Auto Pros were very responsive to all my questions and assured me it happens from time to time and it should be an easy fix. It did end up being and easy fix and was taken care of at an already scheduled mobile appointment.
