The team did a awesome job using some state of the art ceramics. The ceramic coat on the paint creates a deep lustrous shine. I have had black cars before and none had the deep gloss of my GV60 with Gtechniq Crystal Serum. The finish repels water and dirt. Super easy to clean and then dry with a leaf blower. Like RainX, the coating on the windows sheds water with little need for wipers. What I was very pleasantly surprised by is how effective the ceramic tinting of windows and windshield turned out. It is not just hype. This stuff really blocks the heat. If you hate getting into a hot car in the summer, this is your solution. I was suspicious of putting it on the windshield, but the ceramic tint does not impair visibility in any way and blocks the infrared as advertised. To comply with Chicago regulations I did 50% on the front windows. Once again blocks the heat but not the view along with sufficient privacy when viewed from the exterior. Not cheap, but a worthy investment on an expensive vehicle. I highly recommend. read more

scammers. Owes me money for a job cancelled. Said they would reimburse me and never did. Good talkers

I was looking forward to being impressed after reading some reviews. I just had 2 cars done (inside and out) at their Glenview spot. The first car they did not do the touch ups they said and the engine bay was left all oily. I had to wait while the fixed/addressed this. We talked about this should have been addressed before I got there. I was hesitant to leave the second car but thought they would take extra care after the issues with the 1st car. I was wrong. I picked up the second car and saw lots of missed spots and I had to again wait until they finished. Overall, very disappointed with the poor or lack of quality control and lack of detail orientation and passion to do the job right especially considering the price i paid. I will never go back, ever. read more

Had an awesome experience at Chicago Auto Pros! Took my 2025 Civic in for window tint and ceramic coating--Dom was super helpful and took care of everything from start to finish. The ceramic tints not only look great, but they make a huge difference in keeping the interior cooler, especially on sunny days. It's noticeable how much less heat builds up in the car now. (the same goes for holding the heat on those cold winter days) The ceramic coating also came out flawless--super glossy and really makes the paint pop. Great quality work, great communication. Highly recommend! read more

I recently got my MYP tinted by Chicago Auto Pros and came out great! It was a great experience and smooth process. Dom was responsive and super helpful with answering all the questions I had. I debated between the window tints and he offered some great recommendations and insight to help me with my choice. The job took longer than expected but they were communicative and let me know they were a bit short staffed that day. They gave me an update on the status and estimated completion time. Price is probably a bit higher than some others but worth it for the professionalism and attention to detail they had. Highly recommended and will be back for any other detailing work for my car! read more

I struggled a bit with this review. I had my service here over 6 months ago and wanted to wait until my own emotions cooled before evaluating this company. I brought my 2021 BMW m340i here shortly after purchase for tints, PPF, and ceramic coating. This was a pretty expensive and time consuming amount of work and following my research, Chicago Auto Pros was the best option in the area. I worked with Ron, who was very clear and professional in giving me estimates and information during the buying process. After taking the car in for the work, I was initially sent update videos on the work every couple days as it progressed and everything looked good. My initial estimate was 9 days I believe. I dropped off the car on a Saturday and was informed that the work would be completed the following Monday. Towards the end of the week I stopped receiving many updates and was informed that the work would be completed the following Wednesday. Here's where it gets interesting. My pick up date was moved once again to Thursday. I received a call that day and was told that a lamp had fallen from the ceiling and dented the door. To be completely transparent, this was a brand new car with less than 100 miles so I was very upset. Ron was very apologetic and gracious and explained that they were going to take the car to the best luxury body shop in the area to resolve the problem, at the shops expense. This work meant that they had to redo the ceramic coating and the work wouldn't be done for another week. Obviously this whole situation sucks for them and myself. I asked about a discount both over the phone and through email and ultimately only received a 5% discount. I was told that they couldn't offer more due to the expense of the repairs. This irked me as I feel that the shop should have insurance for such scenarios and damage to a brand new car, with added delays of another week, should warrant additional accommodation and compensation. When I finally picked up the car, everyone at the shop was very apologetic and kind. The work was excellent. I have one small bubble on the rear window near the defrost lines, but otherwise the work is very good. The PPF has cured wonderfully and I've enjoyed the hyrdophobic nature of the ceramic coating. My only issue that causes me to leave 4 stars instead of 5 is the way the problem was handled. I believe I should have received a much larger discount than 5%. I'd expect when something like this happens for them to use their insurance and and sacrifice their margin. It was disappointing to hear them use the argument that the cost of their negligence effected the discount i would receive as a customer. Also I don't think lights randomly fall off the ceiling on cars but that's pure speculation. All in all, the repairs were perfect and the work was very well done. If I were to get another car done with the same service in the future I would still seriously consider these guys. However, I couldn't ultimately leave 5 stars here due to the issues I had and the way it was handled. I'm somewhat torn on 4 but I really respect this business and enjoy their content on YouTube and their obvious passion for the work. Still, everyone makes mistakes and it's important how they are handled. All in all this is a very good business and I hope my review is helpful for evaluating how they operate going forward. read more

Very friendly, knowledgeable, & conscientious owner and staff. Truly pros at paint correction, detailing, window tinting, body wraps, & coatings. I drove my Red Tesla Model S straight to them upon delivery in 2017. They first inspected the factory finish and corrected imperfections and buffed out swirls. I had them apply an XPEL Ultimate full body wrap plus Modesta BC-04 coating on entire exterior, except the wheels, which are coated with high temperature Modesta BC-06. I have over 40,000 miles to date, including six ~2,000 mile road trips and my car looks better than new. read more

This is by far the most professional and polished auto detailing shop in Chicagoland. These guys are serious about offering high-quality products packaged with precision install. I brought my 2022 Tesla Model 3 Performance for blackout/tinting and was blown away by their workmanship and attention to detail. I got a call back within 12 hours of my initial email inquiring about various services and the sales rep. was very patient and knowledgeable while explaining the different products/offerings/prices. All pricing is offered up-front with general estimates for each service listed on their website - no surprise extra charges after work is completed. The staff at Chicago Auto Pros were great. I just purchased a new vehicle and wanted my windows tinted. We reviewed the different types of tints available and we decided on the one that best fit my needs and budget. On the day of my appointment they finished the the install within the estimated time. Nothing speaks of craftsmanship and perfection more than Chicago Auto Pros-Glenview. I consider myself EXTREMELY OCD when it comes to my car, but Jason definitely took it to another level :P After having full frontal Xpel installed at their Glen Ellyn location, I went to Glenview to have my 2015 M3 (fresh from European Delivery) prepped for Opti-Gloss. He took care of some faint swirls on the B-pillars and imperfections the car picked up (that I didn't even see!) while I toured around Munich and autobahn. His level of accuracy, attention to detail, and carefulness was exceptional. Furthermore, Jason aims to please the customer. Because the entire job was close to 4 hours, he was more than gracious enough to let me borrow his personal car while I ran errands. Talk about customer service =D !! But the grand finale was when I returned. As I pulled into their shop I saw my car glimmering in the sun; his absolutely wonderful job easily surpassed the factory level paint finish when I originally saw my car at the Welt! Their exceptional quality, detail, and awesome customer service has earned a very loyal customer. For as long as I remain here in the area, I will definitely be visiting Chicago Auto Pros again and again :) read more

If you have not heard of Chicago Auto Pro's then you do not know what you are missing. A detailing establishment based in Glenview and Glen Ellyn, Illinois. I visited the one in Glenview since it was easier to get to from my home. I have been watching their YouTube channel for sometime and have friends who have been to their Glen Ellyn location for work. I have always been a car enthusiast (I am on my 24th car and am in my 50's). I have always done my own work but this time I figured I let the guys at CAPs do some work for me. Tinted windows and a film-treated windshield is what I had done. The guys here did a phenomenal job on everything. Once they were done with the work, car went for a quick clean-up. I am so sad there was a light rain that day... I wanted to showcase their work. To those of you looking for a detailing business providing additional services, CAPs is your spot. Call early because they are booked for a reason. Reasonable pricing for their services. And if you think they charge too much, you need to do your research and what you get for the money. Not just the final result but the reputation and follow-up you get once you're all done. Thank you to everyone at CAPs!!! Keep up the great work - both in detailing, films, tints, etc... Oh ya, and the videos? Ya, keep those going too - great channel! read more

I had my windows tinted originally at abt but after the install I had issues with squeaking noises and the tints getting scratched. After doing some research I found out my car had really tight weather stripping and the only way of doing the tints would be to add a felt liner and to take off the door panels.....abt didn't do that. Found out these guys did and now I don't have any issues!!! I was so happy I also got ceramic coating done too!! These guys do great work and care about your car!! Came back here with my daily vehicle to get a paint correction job done as it had holograms, swirls and definitely some scratches from the prior owner. Was greeted by Greg whom has always been courteous and professional. Met Oscar who would be doing my front tint later on this month, and a few of the workers they would be handling my vehicle. A few hours later.. The job was done. Beyond impressed and to say showroom quality is an understatement. It looks better than brand new! Price, quality and time management - usually you can only pick two. But with these guys (and gals) they do the best in all department. There's a reason why I always come back here and each time, it only gets better. Do you remember the person that finished in second place? Neither does anybody else. Come in first. Go to Chicago Auto Pros. See you all again in a few weeks for XPEL and tint. Keep up the fantastic work! - Jeff read more

I appreciate the time they took to answer my questions. I found them on YouTube and was impressed with their quality of service.

I had my car ceramic coated about a week ago (ceramic coating is new to me) with the entry level Modesta BC08 coating. Chicago Auto Pros were terrific to work with. They reviewed and explained everything to me in detail both before and after completing the job. I was hesitant to have the car coated due to my unfamiliarity with the process. They also finished ahead of schedule. (Under promise over deliver?) The car (red Model 3) looks fabulous. Very shiny and gloss, the color really "pops". The 6 week old car clearly looks better than the day I picked it up. Glad I had the car coated. Now I hope it holds up as advertised. They did a great job and I'll go back. read more

A few friends recommended I consider protecting the finish on my car with film and a ceramic treatment. They also urged me to work with Chicago Auto Pros. That was good advice. Ron and AJ guided me through the process to select the right items for me. They were great at scheduling and kept me completely in the loop as they worked on my car. The results are glorious. Got my Camry's windows tinted earlier with Ron at Chicago Auto Pros. They look FANTASTIC!! I highly recommend them for tints!

These guys are top notch. I threw a lot of work at them and they executed perfectly. I brought in a very special vehicle, my 2020 GT500. So it was important I found a place that I knew I could trust that has experience handling these special types of vehicles. After extensive research and asking around, Chicago auto Pros in glenview was the clear choice. I had window tints done, full vehicle PPF and ceramic coating put on. Quite a large job and I couldn't be happier. The paint correction they conducted was outstanding, every little imperfection was removed and the paint is flawless. You can't see a single seam or line with the PPF, you cant even tell it's there. The car shines and looks better than the day I picked it up at the dealership. If you're looking for the cheapest place, these guys probably aren't it, but if you're looking for the best place that will do the best quality work, these guys are it. Ron, AJ, thank you both for your help and information during the process. Everybody who worked on the car, we didn't get to meet, but thank you so much, you did outstanding work. The only thing I was disappointed in is I was hoping my car would be on an episode with Jason on their YouTube channel. I guess I'll just have to settle for outstanding work. Thanks again guys!! read more
