I waited too long between car washes. In the interim, dirt and tree sap became caked in, and I picked up a few scratches. They did a great job, both inside and out, and the car looks brand new. Based on my experience, I can't recommend them highly enough. read more

The detailing work itself was excellent -- our SUV looks MUCH better and it's clear a lot of time went into the job. However, the overall experience was disappointing because of how the pricing and communication were handled. We booked an interior detail online at $185 and specifically selected the "extra dirty" option because we knew the vehicle had heavy dog hair and would require extra work. We fully expected an upcharge. What we didn't expect was to be told at dropoff that the price would now be $600 after comments about it being "the dirtiest car" they had ever seen. We understand severe pet hair removal takes more time and labor, and we aren't disputing the extra work. Our issue was the lack of clear expectations beforehand. If a vehicle disclosed as "extra dirty" can end up costing more than TRIPLE the quoted amount, that should be communicated more transparently before the appointment or through a clearer pricing structure online. At the time of drop off, there was a line of cars waiting to be checked in, so we felt put on the spot and didn't have time to process such a dramatic price, so we left it (admittedly, maybe we shouldn't have). When we raised concerns about the final price at pickup, there was no willingness to discuss any adjustment. Again, the final quality of the detail was very good. But customer experience also includes the level of professionalism, transparency, and how concerns are handled when expectations (final cost) change so significantly. If you have an "extra dirty" car, my advice is to get a few quotes up front. We certainly wish we had done that! read more

So sadly the detail they did on my car was great -the reason these guys are getting a 1 rating is because they should have been there till 7 PM. I got there at 5:00 pm and they had left for the day.... skies were sunny so they couldn't have the rain excuse but basically they left me without a car in an industrial park by myself and I had to Uber home and then Uber back the next day. And when I complained about it, he offered to refund me the Uber but then when I told him I live 30 minutes from there he basically seemed like he didn't believe me and gave it to me begrudgingly. Frustrated with that experience I tried to contact the owner 4 different times in the week and got no answer at all. Unfortunately this kind of service means I will never go there again -even though the guys that washed my car did a good job and I left them a tip though I'm sure the guy at the desk never gave it to them . read more

This place is a joke under new ownership. These guys don't have a clue on what they're doing. They're always understaffed overpriced. Qualities is no good. There's no value there. These people should close the doors. They have no idea what they're doing. Do not go there. It's awful. read more

Went there yesterday for my second wash under the new owners. For the second time, they did a FIVE STAR ***** job. read more

After my 2016 Chevy Tahoe LTZ, slate blue/gray color, was accidentally sprayed by a painter using spray varnish, my windows and paint were coated. Looking through my windshield seemed like I had parked under a sappy tree for a week! The Chevy dealer suggested I contact Aqualux Auto Spa in Glenview. I called Aqualux requesting a quote and spoke with the Manager, Gio, who suggested I stop in for a detailed look. After my visit, I learned of other services I wanted, and we scheduled 2 days for: removing the varnish overspray, cleaning and prepping the entire exterior including chrome and wheels, application of Ceramic coating and complete interior cleaning. The result was excellent, perfect and beyond expectations. Every inch of this massive truck had been cleaned. Between the doors, under the doors, all nooks and crannies, carpets, leather, every interior surface including glove boxes and in-door cup holders, etc. The overspray was removed from the windows and paint. The entire vehicle looked better than the day I purchased this car 9 years ago and truly, it now has a mirror finish. Finally, I looked under the hood and I was amazed to see that the engine compartment looked like the car just rolled off the assembly line. Great job! Thank you! read more

Look no further. I've been to every hand car wash in a 20 mile radius and this place blew.my.mind.

I just took my car from a dirty road trip to them and they made my car like new. I highly recommend them!

Got the platinum wash. They didn't get all the soap off the car when they rinsed it and they didn't clean the rims. After watching them not clean the rims the guy told me he used soap and clean the rims which he did not. And instead of cleaning the rims the proper way they came out and cleaned them with glass cleaner. Half the windshield was left dirty because they couldn't reach the center of it nor did they try. They one shined 3 out of 4 tires and only cleaned 3 of the 4 floor mat. The most disappointing thing is that I was the only customer there and they did such a terrible job. read more

The team was very nice and accommodating. They did a really good job on my car it looked almost brand new! Was originally told it would take a couple hours which I had no problem with but they finished around 1hr 1hr 15min so it was really cool for the detailed work they did! Will definitely be back read more

Made an appointment for a full detail on my SUV. Dropped it off at the time of my appointment. I was told the car would be ready by 2pm. Had not heard back from them and called at 4pm where they stated they were still not finished with it. Fast forward to a few days later when I realized that they had not put my 3rd row WeatherTech mats back in my car. (I found this out when I put my third row up... it had been left down by Aqualux). I immediately called them and asked for them to locate my WeatherTech mat. They replied that it had been thrown away. Why would you throw something away instead of calling your clients and verifying if they were missing it? This is a large piece worth about $100. We have called multiple times asking them to refund us $100 or replace the item. Their response is to offer a credit for a car wash. Why would I want to bring my car back to them after they lost/tossed my floor mats? Do not recommend. read more

Full service car wash is a quick wipe and quick dry with no attention to detail or basic cleaning of vehicle. I've tried to give this hand car wash numerous opportunities to get it right, but this is enough. Customers are looking to get a clean car at a reasonable price. The price is fair but does not equal the job. read more
