Umbra did my tinting for three cars previously and my parents smart car. I set a Saturday appointment for a new car in May 2025. I never payed close attention to the appointment text. The day of week and date of month didn't match. When I arrived on the Saturday morning the owner showed me I was set for a different Saturday. Without any hesitation he got all four guys in the shop to start working immediately to get the job done in front of others. He knew I was a hour drive away from home. Today was my first visit in 10 years. I'm Super happy with the work. I took my brand new Tesla Model X in for window tints. During the initial consultation, the guy let me know that they also do partial/full wraps. I was happy to learn that. I'll certainly be giving them my business for that. Regarding my tints, Umbre isn't the cheapest but they aren't the most expensive either. They do great work. I only did the front windows, as the other windows are factory-tinted. They told me it's cost $250 for the mid-grade service. They only charge for the quality of the tint, not the level of tint. They offer a lifetime warranty on all services. And they under-promised and over-delivered, as I got out 40 minutes sooner than expected. I highly recommend this business. read more

I called several tint/ppf shops near me for my new Model X and Umbra was the clear winner! Other shops automatically give you a quote based on best products so I thought XR Plus was the standard. When I spoke with Nino, he explains that XR Black (mid-tier) is actually better to match OEM rear window tint because XR Plus has a bluish tint. The tint installation turned out ok but whoever performed the tint left numerous scratches on both rear taillights. Maybe the guy that performed the work was wearing a huge cowboy buckle belt or something. Nino would never do this so I know it was one of his employees that did the work. Needless to say, I am very disappointed with the quality of work and the level of service from Umbra. But due to budgeting, I just went for side window only tints (it's a Tesla so I thought the back window wasn't necessary). The crew over there are like surgeons, such outstanding attention to detail and professionalism, I was so impressed with the execution. They spent so much time meticulously washing the car in preparation to make sure there were no contaminants on the paint, all to ensure the best adhesion of the film. About 7 years ago I decided to apply window tint to my new vehicle. The car was brand sparkling new, thus I was looking for a shop that could get job done correctly with quality materials. My car is not a Ferrari; but I try to treat it like one. The guys at Umbra do the same. I just had all four windows plus the rear tinted for a very reasonable price, and the experience was stellar. Care was taken to keep the car clean, they have a comfortable lobby to wait in, I was asked if I wanted Starbucks while there, and they even offered me a loaner for the wait - for a tint job! It doesn't get much better than that. Three weeks post tint, everything has cured, and the job is just about flawless. I get right up against the window searching for bubbles, lint, dust, etc., but just can't find any. And the cut is clean across the tops of the windows. It looks really sharp. I needed to tint my car and I had no idea where to go. I yelped best window tinting in the area and umbra came up and so many others. What's different about Umbra is their 5 star ratings and this is why I think umbra has over a 140 5 star reviews: 1) The guy is super professional and at the same time he's an artist. Everything is perfected to the millimeter by a laser cutting instrument! You won't leave with one bubble or scratch on your tint or window. 2) punctuality; I made an appointment at 8am and he started with my car at 8 even though he had a different customer. He said 2 hours the job was done in 2 hours. 3) the place is clean and the owner has an open door policy where you can stand and watch your car being worked on. 4) I have no clue about tints and windows so the owner spent some time to educate me on picking the right ones that fit my needs. 5) last but not least the owner makes your car feel like a million bucks after he's done with it I would definitely rate this place 5 stars and I will refer all my neighbors, friends and family back here.
