This salon is for me. Sparkling white, with all new equipment, spotlessly cleaan, and a friendly staff who never rushes their customers. No mob scene customers shouting into cell phones either! It's a place to close your eyes, take a breath, sit back, relax, and just treat yourself. If you're getting a pedi, I totally recommend a foot massage! I discovered Chic Nails a couple of years ago and I'm so glad I did. I've had manicures and pedicures by everyone who works there and they all do a fantastic job! I've visited Chic nails twice now. Both times my nails looked great And the ladies were kind. However, there is clearly a time management issue at this place. I had a 10:30 appointment last Saturday for a dip manicure. I added a lacquer pedicure when asked since they said they had time. I spent 2 and a half hours on a beautiful Saturday in this salon and most of it was wait time with my nails wrapped while a customer with a later appointment got service. They also fit in a walk-in while I waited. One of the manicurists was involved in a very intricate design painting on one customers nails. I watched her work on it for over two hours while others of us sat and waited and waited and waited. My first visit was also about 2 hours and I left without a pedicure, so I don't think this was a one time thing. read more

When I left the salon, I was very happy. I got a gel manicure and it turned out great. However, the next day I was traveling and the color on two of the nails peeled off. This has continued to happen, rendering my $28 manicure useless after just one day. Loved the service, but beware that the gel manicure may not last (could be she didn't fully cap the tip of the nail on each layer). Sad that I don't live there, or I'd go back to have them fix it. read more

I think this salon has only just started using the new SNS/ dip powder and she didn't really know how to do it. She put gel polish as the top coat and it flakes off. Whole manicure only lasted a week :( read more

For the second time now, I made an appointment and was kept waiting. The first time was nearly a 45 minute wait (I had an appointment with Vanessa who had someone in her chair when I arrived) while Phi sashayed up and down the salon until she condescended to do my fill herself after I mentioned the delay repeatedly. Today was the 2nd instance. I again had an appointment and when I arrived (on time) both Phi and Vanessa were in the middle of pedi's. After waiting 10 minutes and it being obvious that neither woman was close to finishing...I left. I phoned back later and Phi wanted to argue with me that she "never keeps her clients waiting more than 30 minutes." Yeah, not when I have an advance appointment. No "sorry for the wait", nothing. I'll probably find another salon with techs that appreciate the business. read more

This place might be okay if they didn't discriminate against those with disabilities. Don't go in a wheel chair, or any other assistive device, because they will tell you to park it up front and walk back. If you can't walk your S.O.L. because they will refuse service and tell you to leave. i went in having a seemingly simple design in mind (quite literally some white lines), and the nail tech said it was was "too complicated". i was a disappointed because it seems simple, im guessing she just didn't have the tools to do it. i settled for colored french tips. the shaping wasn't the best, and they started lifting a few days after i got them. the service was nice and the nail tech was very friendly, just the nails themselves weren't that great. i would go if i wanted a pedicure or and manicure. read more

1/2 star! I was rudely greeted & was just pointed at & grunted sit chair #5! I was left with my feet soaking for over a 1/2 hr, then while she was starting another pedicure told me 5 more minutes! I told them I could not wait, got up & brought my business elsewhere. If I was greeted in a kind manner & told they were running behind, I would have stayed. While the staff is polite, and the salon clean, the wait is EXCEPTIONALLY long. It's not that they're a very busy salon, they simply do not schedule correctly and accept walk ins over previously made appointments. The last 3 visits I waited more than an hour for my appt. The last visit they were so busy that Phi was rushed and wasnt able to do the full set as scheduled....my nails didn't come out as nice as the previous times. I've tried walking in and for some reason have to wait longer so there's really no other option. I was excited to find them at first but now I'm just disappointed. If you go, avoid nights, weekends and holidays -- the wait is insane. Jason (pedicures) on the other hand, is BEYOND AMAZING. He is polite, gentle and does an exceptional job. Though he's always overscheduled (not his doing) and constantly snapped at by Phi, his work and attitude are wonderful. I give Jason 5 starts for sure... read more
