Chibogan is delicious I would say the only negative and I mean only negative is there's nowhere to sit. Staff is really nice and they are great talk to. It's a really nice place but again no where to sit . Absolutely worth the visit. Please don't go so there's more for me

My first time trying Chibogan! I stopped by after a dentist appointment and decided to check it out because it was in the same plaza. I love Filipino food, but unfortunately, there aren't many Filipino spots around, so I'm really glad I came across this spot. This isn't a sit-down restaurant, but a small and cozy spot that focuses on pick-up and catering. They offer party trays, individual meals, daily combo meals, and desserts. I ordered the oxtail combo meal, which came with two egg rolls, pancit noodles, two cups of rice, and a drink for $17.21 after tax. The food came out fast, and the lady inside was sweet. I didn't know what to expect, but the oxtail was flavorful. This was my first time trying a non-Korean oxtail dish, but it was a good experience. I do wish the portion were a bit larger. The pancit and egg rolls were pretty good, and everything tasted fresh. Overall, a solid experience and definitely worth checking out if you're craving Filipino comfort food. I'm looking forward to coming back to try more of their menu!

Ordered here a few times before from Trays of lumpia for a holiday or for a party to share with friends , today I ordered the Lechon combo plate and a small order of Palabok. The lechon was juicy and lots of flavor not dry and the skin was crunchy not chewy . The Palabok could use more sauce to add more flavor, and the Pancit less salty, overall , still one of the best for Filipino dishes around the Nortwest Suburbs ,friendly staff and lots of parking,

This place offers counter service and friendly assistance when; making Filipino food selections. I tried both the pork and chicken barbecue sticks which were delicious, I had the namesake Chibogan pork roll, their soecialty, chopped, It's like lechon kawali but even better and tastier. The food is fresh, hot, made to order. Ask for the lechon chopped! Also had the garlic fried rice and pancit and everything tasted great! I will be back to try other things like palabok and pompano and sinigang!!

    So sad.

We ordered take out yesterday, palabok and pansit. We were very disappointed with the pansit. Noodles are crushed, you could hardly see any meat, it's very dark with seasoning, you could only see carrots definitely far from what they have on their online pictures. What is more disappointing was that we think this is the same with what they include in their combo meals. We never had a pansit like this. Very disappointed. Will not order again.

    Chicken skewer combo

I randomly stumbled upon this place. I love Filipino food so I decided to give it a try. I'm so glad I did. The food is absolutely delicious and made fresh to order. I ordered their chicken skewer combo and everything was prepared so well. The woman behind the counter was very friendly and helpful. I had to wait just a short amount of time for my food. I would definitely recommend anyone to give this place a try. Happy to have a wonderful Filipino restaurant in Mount Prospect!

Finally, another Filipino restaurant in the NW suburbs. This is legit, legit Filipino cuisine, done well, authentic, delicious. The family that owns Chibogan is awesome, friendly, caring, and I wish them all of the luck to keep this gem around. There many, many Asian restaurants in the area, but very few focus on Filipino food, and even fewer are good enough to be a regular go-to for me and my family. I'm not going to detail every dish I've had, because there are many. I can tell you that since my mother passed away, since my Filipino cooking skills are spare, Chibogan IS the place we go to to fill that empty spot (and Mom would've approved). If you've never had Filipino food before, do yourself a favor and go to Chibogan and get yourself a combo plate. You won't regret it. Bayanihan!!

Oxtails....if you've never tried these..don't! The price of this cut keeps rising and we don't need anyone else discovering them.

I've picked up from here 3 times so far. This place is fire! Not every day you come across truly high quality Filipino food portioned and priced right. Errbody in there is cool, and I'm in and out quick. I've received a super satisfying amount of crunchy ass lechon skin and juicy lechon on EVERY visit. This place is a great value in this day and age. That's what's up.

A great addition to the area...an authentic Filipino take out restaurant. The place is family owned and we had the pleasure of speaking with the owner and her daughter while we waited for our order. We tried a combo meal with pork and chicken skewers, pancit, egg rolls and rice. The portion was very generous. The flavors were very good and the skewers were very tender. The egg rolls were mini, but were flavorful. The pancit was excellent. They are only take out and do not have plans to offer seating, but it definitely stop in and support a local business.

Today, I'm craving for lechon belly and I just don't want to eat pork it has to be somehow healthy. So I went to Asian grocery grab some bokchoy, cucumber, fish cake and pickled radish. Pork belly never fail!!! So tasty and tender! Pairs perfectly with my vegetable sides! Oh and I also make some egg drop soup with fish balls! It was a hit! The whole fam loved it!

I've never been to Pinoy Grill but he has and said it was good. It took me 1 second to pick as I wanted Chicken BBQ. It comes with two chicken bbq on stick marinated in citrus juice, soy sauce, garlic and onions. The combo comes with 2 lumpia egg-rolls, pancit and rice. The bbq was made to order which is great as it won't be dry. The marinade was good and had that nice char/caramelized sauce. The size was not bad and the amount of rice and pancit was perfect. The lumpia was your typical size and very crunchy. As mentioned, it was made to order but the food came pretty quickly. We ate in and the other customers were enjoying their food. The place is cozy. Overall, very good. I wanted to get dessert but decided to pass this time but I'm sure I'll be back and when I do, I'll get some dessert.

So, there are not a lot of Filipino restaurants in the Woodridge area, so I was astonished to see wave after wave of Filipinos coming out of nowhere. I don't even see that many when I go to the local Filipino restaurants or small shops lol. I think we waited about 20 mins to get to the window. We ordered the pork adobo combo, one fried siopao, and lumpia. The fried siopao is a perfect 5 out of 5. It was crispy, soft when you opened it up, and the meat was very flavorful. The lumpias were crunchy and not heavy. The pork adobo combo was a bit disappointing. Some of the meat could have been a bit more tender, I don't like chewy meat. The pancit was just mid. It wasn't as tasty as some of the other ones I've had. I would have liked it if they used garlic rice or had the option for that. Overall rating is still 4 out of 5.

Once we walked in, you can certainly tell that it's a mole and pop restaurant. We waited for about 10 minutes before anyone greeted us despite walking in and out of the kitchen and making eye contact with us. After a while we just peeped our head in and asked if we could sit anywhere. One of the mom's or grandma's helped us order and brought out our foods pretty quickly. We ordered a bit of a few items so that we could take it home for dinner the next day. We ordered the sisig - which is seared pork belly with an egg, sinigang which I tend to describe as a sweet and sour soup, and pork adobo. We also decided to try the specialty siopao of which they were selling like hot cakes while we were there. The sisig ended up being my husband's favorite but what won my heart was the sinigang. I'm used to eating it with a lot more veggies, and orka.. but the flavors were incredible plus the soup on a cold day was just what was needed. The pork adobo was a bit salty, and the siopao was a bit underdone. The flavors were great but nothing that I would go out of my way to order. All in all, when in the area I'd love to come back and enjoy the food. :)

After a long day of walking, talking, and imagining his future, we were more than ready for a comforting dinner. Tita Mia's has been a staple for us ever since a very good friend introduced it to our family a couple of years ago, and it has become a non‑negotiable stop every time we're in town. The moment you step inside, you're greeted by their inviting pastry area, an instant mood‑setter that hints at the good meal ahead. As we walked further in, the ambiance washed over me with a wave of nostalgia. Everything about the space, the décor, the warmth, the familiar scents, reminds me of home in Manila. It's the kind of place that makes you feel like you're about to enjoy a true Filipino dinner, not just a restaurant meal. Since it wasn't too busy, we were seated right away and our server took our order promptly. Service was quick and friendly, which we always appreciate after a long day. We ordered some of our favorites: Kare-Kare, sisig, and lumpiang gulay. Each entrée comes with rice, so there was no need to order extra. The food arrived fast and piping hot. Their Kare-Kare is exceptional, rich, creamy, and full of that deep peanut flavor that instantly brought me back to my mom's cooking. The sisig came out sizzling just the way it should, perfectly cooked and not overly salty like versions I've had elsewhere. And the lumpiang gulay was freshly fried, crisp, and absolutely perfect when dipped in vinegar and paired with rice. By the end of the meal, we were happily stuffed, with enough leftovers to take home. Tita Mia's continues to be one of those places that feels like a warm hug, consistent, comforting, and deeply satisfying. We'll always make it a point to come back, and I highly recommend it to anyone craving authentic Filipino flavors.
