This restaurant replaced the old restaurant that used to be My My Chicken or something like that. It's located next to Woori Village. Enormous parking lot. There were plenty of tables to eat at. You walk in, find a table, and then you order at the register. They have more selections at the counter or you can look on their website. Their menu is very extensive. The small bowls, silverware, napkins, etc are all self-serve. It's a mom and pop shop, I believe the husband is in the kitchen cooking, and the wife handles the front. The wife was very pleasant and helpful. We got a good amount of items for two people. The wings had a lot of meat on them, so I took pictures to support my review. Prices were standard. Overall, it's a 4.5 for me but since they're a newly opened mom and pop shop, I'll round it to 5. -fried thin crust rice - 3 - these tasted more like snacks so I think $6 might be too much. My gf wanted this so I didn't look up the pictures beforehand. -cheese balls - 5 piece - 5/5 - I love that cheese pull when you bite into it. The cheese balls were hot and had a soft texture. It's kind of like a Korean version of mozzarella sticks, except they're round and have a powdered cheese exterior. -k-golden fried chicken wings - 8 pieces - 5/5 - crispy skin, succulent meat, adequate amount of meat on the flats and drums. -sweet chili chicken wings - 8 pieces - 5/5 - not spicy, very mild kick. Sufficient amount of meat and juicy on the inside.

This is another option for fans of Korean fried chicken, located off Milwaukee Avenue and Golf. There is plenty of parking and they opened a few months ago, and the restaurant is bright and clean with large screens playing K-pop videos and multicolor hexagon LED lights. I ordered the Korean golden chicken, which comes with a side of pickled radish. They offered me a few sauces, I selected soy garlic and spicy honey lemon. Sauces cost additional but they offered to me free because it was my first visit. I also ordered fries. As I sat waiting for my order, I was watching a slide show of the other appetizing menu options glide by. The chicken arrived hot and golden. The outer shell was crunchy and crispy and not at all greasy. I dipped in the sauces -- I enjoyed the honey lemon. The crinkle French fries were amazingly light and crispy -- although a little heavy handed on the salt-- and a very generous portion. I enjoyed the chicken which had that amazing crunch. I usually order plain and I will have to try another flavor in a future visit. Service was very friendly and hospitable. This restaurant has a fun and lively setting -- I was the only customer one weekday afternoon -- so bring your appetite and some friends. 4.5 stars -- I deducted 1/2 star because the fries were over salted-- but I could easily see this as 5 stars on another occasion.

This weekend we got to check out @chibabchicken for the first time and are SOO happy we did! Chibab Chicken offers a variety of Korean dishes on their menu - our favorites being their Korean fried chicken, rose tteokbokki, cheese balls, and bulgogi kimchi fried rice! For fried chicken we tried two boneless 8-piece sets: honey lemon (MUST TRY!!) and the K-classic spicy chicken (not too spicy!). We would totally go back again - next time I want to try their soy garlic (galbi) chicken, K-corn dog, and budae jjigae The vibes inside are great (colorful!) and we received our food very quickly! There are also takeout containers, utensils (traditional and chopsticks) readily available for you to grab if needed as you finish up your meal. If you're ever in the Niles area, definitely give Chibab Chicken a try!!

I am so glad that Korean fried chicken is taking over the world. Sign me up to try every single wing flavor at this new place! I walked in out of the cold and warmed up immediately, a good sign. I'd walked past Mymy before (the name of the place at this location before this one) and never tried it, if it had been this inviting maybe I would have. I love what they've done with this space. The neon lights, the bright color palettes, the Korean mascots, and every inch of the place is clean. I was greeted from the counter as I entered and asked if I would be dining in. I said yes and they asked me to sit anywhere I'd like. I grabbed a seat and they brought me a full menu and a water jug for my table. However when your ready to order they take your order at the counter. This place is walking the line between self service and full service, maybe it all depends on how busy they are but I can say I was very pleased with the service I received. They have a case of beverages to choose from as well, which includes a few alcoholic options. I was torn on which wings to get, lots of tasty sounding options here. Then I saw "honey mustard cheese" and there was no turning back. I've had a lot of Korean fried chicken but I've never seen this flavor combo before. I also went ahead and treated myself to their cheese balls. As I waited for my food I was brought some utensils. A bowl for collecting my wing bones and a pair of small tongs to grab them with to cut back on mess. A very nice upscale touch. My wings came out first and they looked perfect. I dug right in and, yep, they were perfect. I really love this flavor combination, why haven't I seen this everywhere? They don't over sauce their wings which I appreciate. They were cooked just right and the crunch in the batter never wavered. I did have a minor issue of getting more drums than flats which is a pet peeve of mine, simply because I prefer the flats but it does make sense to get an even number of both. Soon after my wings landed, out came my cheese balls... the picture is misleading, these things were massive! Giant fried dough filled with, I'm guessing mozzarella. Then coated with cheese powder. They were too hot to eat at first, watch out for that. These things are an amazing textural experience. It's crunchy, doughy, melty, cheesy, and chewy at the same time. They also seemed to have sugar coating which is where the flavor went south for me, I would skip that sugar and maybe add a little more seasoning. About halfway through my meal a woman (I'm thinking she's the owner) came out and asked me how I was enjoying my food, and would I like some complimentary pickled radish and jalapeños? Absolutely I would. I'm used to getting pickled radish at Korean fried chicken places, but the jalapeño is new and welcome. I'm guessing again but I think they were soaked in Soy Sauce? I loved that. So it looks like a clean up after yourself sort of situation, but the woman again came back out and told me not to bother, she'd take care of it. As I grabbed my coat and put on my hat she waived at me happily from behind the counter and said "be careful out there, it's slippery!" I was really blown away by the service honestly. Such hospitality, from the moment I walked in I was greeted by smiles with a friendly and helpful attitude. They seem so happy to have customers and for people to enjoy themselves, I'll be hoping they last much longer than that last place. A side note, but the bathroom was nice and clean which is always a plus. I'll be back to try more very soon.

Soy Garlic (Galbi )Chicken, Boneless, 16 large pcs

Enjoyed the following: K-Golden Fried Chicken (wings) 16 pcs Soy Garlic (Galbi) Chicken (boneless) 16 pcs Both choices are incredible. Having a variety is always great. Depends on if you want your fried chicken coated in sauce. Note that the boneless chicken comes in very large generous pieces, so you do get a lot more meat compared to the wings. Both are delicious & maintain their crunch even as leftovers & eaten cold. Warms up great in the air fryer for 3 mins. The soy garlic is spicy & sweet, so it doesn't quite align with the description but is nevertheless delicious. Overall: Most definitely worth the calories & even delicious as a cold leftover or 3 mins in the air fryer... IF there are leftovers!

**3.5 Stars** Tried this place for the first time yesterday. We ordered online through Uber Eats since they have BOGO free offers on some menu items as well as some other slightly discounted menu items. We got the BOGO deals for the K-Golden Fried Chicken and the Gold Cheese Chicken as well as a Rose Tteokbokki (this one is not a BOGO deal but still $2 less than the menu price). My wife went to pick it up after work so I can't comment on service or restaurant space, but the order was ready on time. They cut some venting holes on the lids of the chicken takeout boxes so the chicken wouldn't get soggy during transit. The chicken itself is decently sized and pretty juicy. There was a good crunch to the chicken skin so their venting holes worked pretty well. The Gold Cheese Chicken tasted good, though maybe a little sweeter than others I've tried. The K-Golden Fried Chicken doesn't have any sauce but I still expected it to have some sort of flavor, though it didn't really. Good crunch, pretty juicy, but lacking flavor. We also got a Rose Tteokbokki except this didn't really have any rose flavor to it. It looked and tasted like regular tteokbokki, so it's hard to say if this is how it normally is, or if they just gave us regular tteokbokki on accident. There are still a few other menu items I want to try so I'm likely to come back and maybe even dine in next to get the full experience. This place is definitely worth a try, especially with the Uber Eats deals they have right now (don't know how long they'll be available though). They use multiple online ordering platforms but I didn't check to see if the others had their own deals as well.

Decided to check this place out with a friend after seeing an ad. They have unique flavors! Staff was friendly and welcoming and food arrived quickly. We ordered the Soy Garlic Wings and Honey Lemon Wings. I wasn't too fond of the Honey Lemon ones but the Soy Garlic ones are always a safe bet.

had such an amazing time today for mother's day! this is my 2nd visit here and love the fried chicken here.. i had to have my family try it! food: soy garlic chicken- so perfect. perfect crunch, perfect taste bigbowl tteokbokki+side ramen (rabokki): i wish the sauce was less watery but still tastes great! i love that the fried seaweed, mandu, and egg are included! fish cake soup udon: my kiddo loved this and i love the fish cakes. so comforting service: the service was awesome. it looks like everything is self serve with bowls: cups , utensils. and even takeout containers at the designated stations but the lady comes over and sets everything up anyway. for mother's day. they also offered free 6 piece fried chicken!! prices are so reasonable, food so good, service awesome... nothing but positive things to say about this place! can't wait to come back!

Fast causal spot with great wings. We tried the soy garlic wings and a spicy kkang sauce . It wasn't that spicy for us. Everything Was sure crispy and my family liked everything. The side of pickled daikon and jalapeño was a refreshing tough. The shrimp fried rice was simple but tasty.

I love when the sides keep coming and actually taste fresh, and these definitely did. The grill experience was the highlight. Watching the marinated beef sizzle over the charcoal while it caramelized and crisped at the edges? Elite. The meat was tender, juicy, and packed with flavor -- especially dipped into the sesame oil sauce or that savory soy-based sauce with scallions. Every bite wrapped in lettuce with garlic and sauce was chef's kiss. And the yukhoe (beef tartare) was beautifully presented -- layered with avocado, topped with a glossy egg yolk and garlic slices. It was fresh, rich, and buttery with just the right amount of seasoning. Mixing it all together made it creamy and flavorful without being overpowering. Overall, Jin Soo delivers on quality meat, great sides, and that interactive KBBQ vibe that makes the meal feel like an experience. The meat was good. Especially the non-marinated beef with the special matcha salt. NOT AYCE. Banchan (side dishes) were good and authentic. I would come again but not necessarily a WOW I MUST come again. If that makes sense. Decent KBBQ joint.

The appetizers were a highlight, unique and bursting with flavor from a perfect spice blend. Not too spicy at all, just the right amount of kick to keep things exciting. The grill was a touch oilier than I'm used to (probably to keep the meat from sticking), but it bother me slightly although most people would probably enjoy it. Fun times all around- great drinks and singing karaoke!!…read moreEasy to order drink menu but wish there were some more options. We didn't try any food since we came from a late dinner but I could see how it would add to the ambience. Dropped a star due to confusion/miscommunication with staff when we were directed to our room. We were a group of 10 that booked a small room but were seated in the large room. Since we were celebrating a birthday, we didn't think anything of it. When we went to pay, we realized that it was not a complimentary upgrade and were charged for the large room ($20 more per hr). We ordered the following - prices were a bit high overall: - kimchi fried rice: the cheese made this nice and savory and this was the best bang for your buck because of the portion - galbi: pretty tasty but small pieces - chicken feet stew: this came out cold so we had to send it back- they had forgotten to bring out the portable burner that comes with the dish. Otherwise this was very spicy (which I liked) and a big portion - bossam: my favorite dish. Lots of sides that came with the pork belly, which was great because none of the other dishes came with banchan or kimchi. Rice is usually an extra cost, but the server gave it to us complementary during this visit. I'm glad I tried a lot of dishes and had tasty Korean bar food! I'd recommend giving it a try.

I recently stopped by with my boyfriend while passing through the area, and Korean soup hits differently when it's freaking cold outside. I ordered the "mix" soup (seollungtang with meat and tendon), and it came out boiling just the way it should be. The bowl includes thin flour noodles, tender meat and tendon, and is topped with green onions. It also comes out with kkakdugi (diced radish kimchi), regular kimchi, a dipping sauce for the meat, and salt to season the soup to your liking. All of that plus a Diet Coke came out to $33.99 for both of us. In this economy? That's a solid deal. The lady and the man working behind the counter are always sweet, which is a plus. The food was comforting and much needed. I'm so thankful this place still exists and is standing strong even after Assi is gone.
