I love this place and have been coming here as long as I can remember. My dad loves their pizza with extra cheese and the antipasto salad as well. I'm a huge fan of their spaghetti and meatsauce with one meatball. Lunch or dinner with their rolls are delicious. Service is always solid and the food is too. There's no place quite like Chi Chi's! Growing up in Santa Clarita where they have 2 locations, I've been frequenting this place for about 20+ years and I'll continue to come back. I order the same things every. single. time. My usual is: Their amazing Antipasto Salad w dressing on the side. Large Shells w Meat Sauce and a Large Spicy Cheese Pizza. So.. I'll admit I'm going to be biased on this review... My family has been going here since before I was born.. growing up as a Ninja turtles fan.. this was my cowabunga Pizza joint. It carries the nostalgia and the family feeling. In my opinion you can have anything from the antipasto salad to the dinner rolls going all the way to the pizza, fried chicken or the pastas and be Happy. Covid life: Chi Chi's is another restaurant in my archive that is doing all they can to keep going in this time. They're all being a safest possible and maintaining delivery status. As always stay safe be respectful and have some good food. The service: you can tell the occasionally get busy with the increasing delivery orders. It did take a little longer to get my food but it was worth the wait. Since I was a kid this food is maintained it's deliciousness but you can tell when they change up something like the cheese. Or at least I can.. lol but Chi Chi's still delivers on all levels. The food: I don't do this often but let me order for you.. lol You're going to want to go for the antipasto salad with their house Italian dressing... You're going to get some rolls with that and your butter, then you get to get yourself an order of the clams with white linguine sauce.. when you get that add some red chili pepper flakes to it and you're golden. Then finish it off with a medium or large pepperoni pizza.. of course you can't go wrong with any pizza at this point but this will do. Also if you dip the rolls into the dressing it's superb. I've also had the spaghetti and meatballs here, The fried chicken is delicious, their potatoes are crispy and delightful lol it's not like I've been going here my whole life or anything lol. My friends and I stopped by here over the weekend to grab lunch to catch up. Finding parking here can be tricky depending on when you come because it can get busy and the parking spots is not that wide. The place is kind of old school so it doesn't look modern inside. We got seated right away when we walked in and they brought out the hot bread for us. I got the combo wings, I asked our waiter which one was popular and he told me the traditional and golden wings. So I pick both to try it out and I would say the traditional is way better. I thought the wings were just like the Costco hot wings so if I was to come back, I wouldn't order it again. My friends got their pepperoni pizza and caesar salad. They put a lot of chesse on their pizza but they enjoyed it. Food memories are funny things. Sometimes they can be pleasant; other times not so much. It has been at least one decade since I've eaten at Chi Chi's... almost two. Last night was "date night" with my blushing bride and our idea of a date lately has been takeout pizza and a bottle of wine. Tonight it was a Chi Chi's pizza with assorted vegetables, and a very expensive bottle of wine. I was a bit surprised (but not disappointed) that the pizza arrived in a very nondescript white pizza box. Not much of a way to impress the neighbors either as they see it coming into the house or, later, in the trash... assuming I don't throw it into the mulch pile. The look of the pizza was very familiar. A bubbly crust with lots of cheese, sufficient toppings, and a perfect amount of char. The taste... was unmistakably Chi Chi's pizza. Very yummy... one of the best, if not the best in my estimation, pizza we've had in our recent tour of local pizzerias. It must be a good product (and business) to survive for so long and maintain the same great quality! Sorry... ate too fast to get a picture. Use your imagination, or get your own. :) read more

Came here to meet family for lunch. Old style place but clean and the service was good. I wanted the fried chicken (broasted here) and opted for the chicken tenders off appetizer menu for $12.95. Four big pieces so no issue there. We shared a family salad and my wife got the whole wheat rigatoni. She said this was pretty good, but she also said it wasn't something that she would crave. Came here for dinner on Saturday night around 9pm and were seated right away. The interior of this place gives me Olive Garden/Mimi's cafe vibes. It was our first time trying this place so we decided to order an appetizer, a pasta and a pizza. We got the cheesy garlic bread as our appetizer and loved it! You have the option of marinara or meat sauce to go with it so we asked for both. I also asked for a side of their Alfredo sauce to try. The meat sauce was amazing! The other 2 were bland and nothing special. For our pasta we opted for the lasagna. It was delicious! In my opinion it was more cheesy then meaty which I don't mind. We ordered a large pizza which is 14in and comes with 12 slices. The slices aren't that big. I would say it was the perfect size for 4 people. We got half double cheese and half pepperoni, mushrooms and onions. I had previously read on Yelp to ask for the toppings on top of the cheese, which we did. I always prefer my toppings on top, otherwise they just stay soggy. The pizza was good. It wasn't amazing, but it was good. I do think it was slightly undercooked. The bottom of the pizza was very wet and was causing the bread to become soggy. Overall, it's a decent place. I think it's a great option for a family dinner. They have a variety of options that any toppings would suffice and to pair with a great pizza would be their antipasta salad which is Crisp Romaine, Peperoni, Salami, Salad Cheese, Tomatoes, Onion, Peperoncini, Garbanzos and Italian dressing. I have been coming literally my entire life. My mom was a waitress here while she was pregnant with me, thats how long my family and I have been coming here. This place use to be amazing. Great bread, great pizza, great service. Unfortunately, this place looks and feels like it hasnt had a "deep clean" since the 80's. Everytime I come here now its always something. Whether its dried up crusted cheese on the silver ware, dirty cups, dirty ripped up booths, dirty floors, and freakin dirty high chairs that are NEVER cleaned. The last straw was when my 4 year old contracted Hand, Foot, Mouth disease after sitting in their dirty highchair. The wait for our food took an extremely long time so I knocked down one star. I know it's COVID but it even took a longggg time to bring out the dessert. They didn't time our pizzas to come out at the same time as our other dishes so it was a bit on the cooler side when we started eating it. Other than that- the pizza was great!! I love the food here, but last time I ordered take out from this place I was very disappointed. I ordered the Ravioli Ravioli half meat sauce and half cream sauce, and they gave me Ravioli all meat sauce. So I called them to notify that it was incorrect and what I wanted and drove back over there to get the correct order and when I got home and looked in bag, it was just cream sauce with no Ravioli. I called the manager Ricky that was on duty and explained the situation and at this point they were closing and he stated he would let corporate know and to call back tomorrow. When I phoned back they said they could give me a large pizza and suggested with cream sauce. See photos below... At this point I think they are deliberately making joke about cream sauce. On Saturday evening June 21, 2025, my family and I had a horrible experience with the Server at the bar section, Tom, the food was delicious but the service from this particular individual was heartless, racist, and bias. Me, my wife, and my three children arrived at approximately 8pm. When we walked in, the Dodger game was on and my son wanted to watch the game while we ate so we requested to be seated where we can watch the game, so a female server (name unknown) sat us down near the bar, which I was absolutely fine with. I told my wife that I would use the restroom, so I did. When I went to use the restroom, my wife stated that Tom was yelling and belittling the unknown female server in front of other customers and the rest of the staff that was around. When he was finished degrading this poor girl, my wife stated he came over to our table and asked rudely "what do you want to drink", instead of politely introducing himself and asking politely what she wanted to drink. Me not knowing what was going on, finished using the restroom and sat at the table and ordered regularly like a normal Saturday evening. While we were eating, I could sense an unpleasant tension from the server, he was just staring at us from the bar as if he was angry because we were there and would not hurry up and leave (very uncomfortable feeling). I still didn't know what had occurred when I was in the restroom because my wife did not mention it to me until we got home. So, we continue eating and are enjoying ourselves as a family while watching the Dodger game and this guy is still at the bar by himself with no customers at the bar continuously staring at us, luckily, I had my back towards him, or I would've mentioned something to him. It's about 9:38pm and Tom turns off the TVs that were playing the Dodger game as if trying to send us a message. Me not thinking anything of it because I still didn't know what had happen prior to using the restroom and I didn't know what time Chi's Chi's pizza closed, so I paid my bill and still left this scumbag a tip and left the restaurant peacefully. My wife then told me everything that had happened when we got home and I became furious, if the restaurant would've still been open, I would've gone to report this to the manager. I called the very next day and spoke to the manager (Fernan) and let him know my awful experience with this server. He stated he would address this issue with the server. I still have my receipt and the time says it was 9:42pm and the manger Fernan mentioned to me over the phone that Chi Chi's restaurant closes at 10pm and that Tom shouldn't have done that. If I would've witnessed this behavior or my wife would've told me what had happened while we were at the restaurant, I would've not have gave Chi Chi's pizza my business, my hard earned money and let alone not gave this scumbag a tip, I would've got up with my family and took my business somewhere else. I am reaching out to you, Corporate, so you know what time of employee you have working for your Northridge, CA location. I am also reaching out to you so that this does not occur to another family walking into that restaurant. I really love the food from Chi Chi's pizza, it's better than Olive Garden and never had issues going to this location except for this night. I really hope sending this email to you resolves this individual's behavior, I'm sure it's not the first complaint from customers and employees he works with. Disgusting how that poor co-worker was humiliated like that and how we were treated, I can only imagine what else goes on with that individual working there. The pasta is made in-house. You get a choice of: Spaghetti, Springs, Shells, Rigatoni, Orecchiette (Semolina blend, no egg), WW Rigatoni (whole wheat, no egg). I ordered the orecchiette with the original meat sauce. I was trying to keep it as healthy, I'm not sure if I'm liking the texture of the wheat orecchiette. They cooked it too al dente and it took me a while to chew up my dish. The meat sauce was alright. I wished it tasted more meatier. Hubby ordered the clam linguini which was lacking the clam sauce taste. The rest of the group ordered pizza. Overall, it's a good place for larger groups and family for gatherings. Located in a plaza on Tampa & Nordoff. Parking was not an issue. The restaurant reminds me of Buca Di Bepo. They give you a lot of food so you might want to get the half order unless you want to bring home leftovers. The Spaghetti with meat sauce was still pretty good even though it was about an hour before I started to eat it. My only complaint is that they charged me $4.25 for just one Italian Sausage. For this price, they should have given me 2. But I have to say, the sausage was pretty good and has a kick. We ordered the cheese ravioli with pink sauce.
