This spot is such a hidden gem tucked away in the CVS parking lot. They're known for their pastas, especially the lasagna, and it really doesn't disappoint. We've been back a few times, and everything we've tried has been solid. The lasagna combo is definitely worth it: it comes with garlic bread and a salad. For about $13, it's plenty to feed you and even a small child if you don't feel like cooking dinner. The only drawback for me is the garlic bread....It's hit or miss, and I'm not a fan of the sesame seeds on the bun. It just doesn't fit the Italian vibe of the meals. We also tried the veggie pizza topped with fried chicken, and surprisingly, it was really good. The Alfredo pasta was tasty, but on the day we ordered it the sauce was way too runny. Alfredo should have a little thickness, but this was so thin it felt like eating pho instead. A little more Parmesan or thickening would've taken it up a notch. My partner ordered the pastrami sandwich, which was delicious flavor-wise but very skimpy on the meat. For almost $13, it should be loaded, but this one barely covered half the bread. Honestly, I wouldn't recommend the pastrami, it's not worth the price. What keeps us coming back, though, is the friendly staff. They always try to accommodate requests like extra sauce or peppers, and that kind of customer service goes a long way. The restaurant is also clean, which is a plus. Aside from the sesame seed bread, the disappointing pastrami, and the one-off Alfredo mishap, LA Lasagna is a great casual spot. Their lasagna and pasta dishes alone make it worth a visit. read more

The quality is good and prices are reasonable, the salads are large enough for two and the Lasagna is well made. I wanted to serve my friends something delicious for movie night and I think I found my new spot for small gathering catering! At first I thought the family meal was not going to be enough for 7 of us but it was more than enough. The pizza was sooo good and filling. Today we decided to order the fried zucchini along with our usual pizza/salad order. What a huge disappointment!!! $6.99 for a tiny styrofoam cup of soggy little zucchini!
