Great pizza and all meat lasagne...great prices my go to for good sausage pizza and lasagne

We order from here a lot for delivery (Postmates). Food is always consistent. Portions are good. (Sometimes other restaurants will get stingy with the delivery orders, but they are not like that). Great Pizza at a great price. Delivery is fast and food is hot. So far we have tried large pepperoni and extra cheese (Yum), chicken parm entree and eggplant parm entree. Both received very good reviews. The wings were not great to be honest. Meatball sub is big and very good! Pastrami Sandwich has good flavor, but a bit light on the Pastrami. Side of meatballs with mozzarella melted on top was yummy. The cold cut sandwich is also really good. I've ordered from there a few time and it has been consistently good. I was ordering from Pizza Cookery, but the last couple of times they let me down on pizza and their cold cut and meatball sandwiches don't compare to LA. read more

When I lived in Reseda I would order from them once or twice a month - was a little too far for a quick meal. Now I live 1/2 block away - and it is my go to place. Everything from pasta to pizza to sandwiches - all excellent. I'll even walk over there just to get a fresh, cold, crisp salad. read more

I just picked up a sandwich, basic turkey and provolone. Delicious by the way. However what really stood out was the excellent customer service. Sadly my pizza today didn't live up to LA Lasagna's typical standards. I have ordered here many times before and always enjoyed my pizza- not today. The crust was extremely thick compared to normal and there was the smallest amount of sauce I've ever seen on a pizza (see photo). I've gotten pizzas in the past where the crust is thicker on 1 side or a little uneven and it hasn't been an issue. The crust today was at least twice as thick and with no sauce, the pizza was just chewy. Since this is so unlike the pizzas I have had in the past, I called and told them I didn't want to leave a negative review on yelp, but felt they needed to know that the pizza was not good. Their response was "okay". I wasn't looking for anything by calling- I had already paid for my pizza -but an apology or even a recognition of my complaint would have been considerate. Now I feel a negative review is warranted. I was looking forward to my pizza this evening, but am left feeling disappointed and like I wasted my money. read more

Fantastic NY Pizza - Brooklyn style. A lot of places claim to have Brooklyn style pizza but this spot does it to perfection. I don't give many 5 star reviews but this pizza absolutely deserves it, 100%. If I had one critique it would be the meat lasagna was slightly not balanced, it could use a couple more layers of the noodles (especially since they are thin) to go with the abundant beef and sausage mixture. First impressions are very important no matter where you go or do. I stood at the counter an the employee didn't even acknowledge me. I was looking at the menu and the lunch specials. I finally asked him, is your spaghetti good and he replied yes. Being Italian, I wanted to try it. It wasn't bad, however they need to stain the water more out of the pasta.The sauce was a little watery,as for the meatballs, eh. So for the service,sorry no stars. I'll give you my reasons. Meat Lasagna & Ricotta Cheese Combo for $8 w/ tax. 1) Meat Lasagna - beef, ground sausage, ricotta cheese, marinara sauce. It actually tasted better than some of the lasagna at nicer Italian restaurants. 2) Garlic Bread - Baked sesame bread. DELICIOUS. 3) Salad - standard. nothing special. Mostaccioli with Marinara Sauce (w/ garlic bread) $6 - Essentially, it's penne pasta with marinara. - Very simple dish, but it's good. You can save even more money by buying the ingredients and spend like 5-10 minutes cooking it. Service: The staff are friendly and are quick with deliveries. Parking: Very small lot. LA Lasagna had good portions for what they sell. I had the lasagna and my boyfriend had their spaghetti. We were excited that they were so close to our house and that they also deliver! We took our order to go and came home. After eating some bite I realized that I had high hopes for the lasagna but it tasted like a mediocre lasagna with nothing special to note. One and done for us. Dear Hubby was especially unhappy with the food, saying it was mediocre at best. The neighborhood and tiny parking lot did not make a good first impression. Parking lot was tight, so much so that you could imagine coming away with dented doors. We ended up parking in back and walking around the building on cracked and dirty pavement. Inside, the dining room was spotless - so plus points for that! The decor it quite dated, but they do keep it clean. The gentleman at the counter seemed to be unhappy to be there, which was not helpful to the experience. Used a $5 off $25 coupon found on their website, which was a nice bonus. Their prices are very fair for reasonably sized portions. Unfortunately, the garlic bread didn't bring much garlic flavor. The lasagna was comfort-food worthy to me, but DH wasn't impressed. I could understand why they do a lot of take out and delivery. Adored Grandson was okay with the spaghetti with meatballs, but not raving about the taste, either. He did find it filling. Invited us to taste his dish. The sauce was unremarkable. The meatballs were dense and firm. He took most of it home as it was a large portion for him. Just didn't win us over. read more

I selected the (Meat and Ricotta) Lasagna, garlic bread and salad combo with a small sprite and lemon blueberry dessert; I HIGHLY recommend LA Lasagna Co., as they hit the nail on the head. My salad is hearty, the order was correct, my lasagna was SO saucy (yum!), the garlic bread was perfectly buttered, and the blueberry lemon dessert was DEFINITELY something to write home about ! It's not what it used to be. This place used to be great but the last few times the food has been disappointing. The pizza was so undercooked and greasy the topping slide off and we had to cook it longer or eat it with a knife and fork. The meatloaf was a tiny piece probably 3 inches by 2 inches hidden under a bunch of several cups of sauce and cheese. I gave up trying to find the pasta and gave it to the dog on top of his dry food.
