I needed a caffeine jolt this morning and remembered Chevron had coffee. I walked over and they had 3 machine with multiple options to choose from. I brought my own cup so had to ask the cashier for help and she was told me what to do. I love that they had pump creamers and sweeteners as well as individually wrapped. Good Chevron station, tends to have more competitive prices than other gas stations on Geary or nearby on Divis or California. The tip-off gas prices are good is you see taxis and Lyft filling up here every time you drive by. 10 pumps mean that you can fill up and get out quickly and there's a small convenience store to grab coffee, donuts, a soda - or a lottery ticket. Cashiers are always very pleasant, yet another reason it's easy to stop at this Chevron. read more

This is a review for the Extra Mile here. Up until the writing of this review I frequented this location probably 2 times a week for about a month. Earlier this week, I attempted to purchase some food. The attendant rang me up, but at the time, they said that my card was rejected as their system stated a duplicate change. ** This was odd, as they also said that my transaction did not go through. ** Since they told me this, I put the food back. I also need to state that I did not have my phone on me at the time, therefore I was unable to check my account to see if the transaction did do through. Upon my return home, I checked my account balance, and the transaction did go through. Basically, I paid for something, but I did not receive any of the food because the attendant said the transaction was denied. But, at the same time, that subsequent attempts to retry the purchase was denied because their records showed "duplicate". As a regular customer , most of my interactions were with the same staff. Therefore , I am very troubled that the attendant whom I know by name, is the same person who is now telling me that he doesn't believe that my card was in fact, charged. I need to make it clear that I did call them the next business day (to report that the charge did go through, and that they should offer me a refund. Over the phone, I asked if showing them the charge on my account would be enough to get a refund, the attendant said, "Sure, bring it in to show me, I'll refund you." I did that, and I was told, "I can't be sure that the transaction went through." I replied, "Sir, this is the address of this location, '3675 Geary Blvd.', here is the charge amount. Here is the time of the transaction." The attendant had the gall to say," This is NOT personal, I can't verify that you were charged." At this point, I suggested that the attendant pull the store's records, BUT APPARENTLY, THAT IS IMPOSSIBLE he put, since they, "Only go back one day." I recommended at this point, as a final way to get something for my payment, I suggested that I get the food that I already paid for. The attendant said, " If you get the food, then [the store] would come up short [that basically, the store would lose money for unpaid goods]. I cannot be sure that the payment went through." (This, DESPITE THE FACT THAT I SHOWED HIM THAT IT DID). I knew that the time speaking with the attendant was a waste of time . This attendant with whom had previously been so willing to help over the phone, was now being, n my opinion, totally unhelpful. I left shortly after. I am very suspicious of this location. I do believe that the attendant was being disingenuous for telling me over the phone that I would receive a refund, only to have traveled to the location to be denied the refund IF HE HAD said over the phone, that a refund would be impossible over the phone, that would be one thing. But since I wasted my time going there, this is truly insulting. Previous reviewers stated that they were victims of fuel fraud. As I do now have firsthand experience with being charged for goods not received, I can no longer support this business. read more

A friend of mine was taking me home and needed gas. We stopped by another gas station first and unfortunately it was closed. Found this Chevron down the street and luckily, it was open. We were here on Saturday, May 5th around 2am. I have no idea how much gas actually cost here as I wasn't paying attention, but it's nice to know there's a gas station on Geary open this late. Especially if you are in desperate need of some fuel. The station was well lit and never felt shady or unsafe. So that's a plus late at night. We quickly filled up the car and left. Convenient if you're on Geary going home to the richmond in the middle of the night. read more

I would give zero starts if i could! Today i attempted to get gas in my car i had a 10$ bill and i start pumping and after i'm done i turn my car back on and the gas didn't even fill! Ideal location with an awesome addition of an Extra Mile! It was my first time here today and I was totally feeling it. Such a big gas station and regardless of the super pricey gas prices, the fully stocked Extra Mile really makes things worth it. A very convenient location if you're passing Geary and in dire need of filling up your car or just picking up a quick drink or snack. Lots of room for cars and usually pretty good with accommodating lots of big cars and trucks that go in and out. Staff is very friendly and super good at helping out with any questions or concerns. read more

Considering this Chevron is in SF they've managed to keep their prices to a respectable level. Other gas stations around the city just seem to want the last few dollars in your wallet. Clean restrooms. Huge area around the pumps for those not so good drivers. The Extra Mile store though is pretty small and cramped, but they do sell a lot of hot food that don't look like they've been sitting there for hours on end. I just got gas here after having my light turn on for quite some time now... Yes I AM BROKE! This place actually just remodeled not that long ago. It's a pretty nice gas station. Come to this location whenever I pass by which is rarely. Came here more when parking wasn't as bad as it is now. I came back here when I had to go to CPMC NICU and some of the pumps were broken. I came back recently due to traffic on Park Presidio on a Sunday and this time the reader was broken. Yes, I'm writing a review based on my bathroom experience. The low star rating is not due to cleanliness, because it wasn't bad at all. There's another reason for it. A key is needed to access the unisex restroom located outside. Apparently there is more than one key, because while I was still inside a man unlocked the door. I go here for cheap coffee, candy bars and nachos. They sell a billion brands of cheap cigarettes, there's always dudes getting a carton of Newport Reds on sale. Store always clean and well stocked. Bathrooms are clean and they have a baby changing station. And they sell Lotto and Lottery. Someone won over $250K there on Fantasy 5 a few months ago. But the best part is the staff. Everyone there is super friendly, and my 7 month old is in love with them all, giving them huge smiles during every visit. Woohoo! As good as it gets! Indeed. read more

Best Chevron Station by far in San Francisco. Gas prices are uncontrollable yet their prices are always around the average in San Francisco and not sky high like other select gas stations (example: Shell four blocks away on California, at least $0.30 more!). It's is a very clean gas station. It was remodeled and still looks fantastic. I have yet to be harassed by a homeless man which shows how safe, clean, and well maintained this station is. The mini mart was remodeled as well, a significant upgrade compared to the way it was before during my middle school years. It's relatively large, spacious, and can say greatest Gad Station in San Francisco based on Quality, Location, and the appearance (do you really prefer cheaper gas from places like Valero, AM PM where it's also cheap gas?). read more

Clean location and bathrooms. This is one of the best gas station shops ive been to. The coffee and food counter has an extremely large selection and they always have some sort of promo either for coffee and pastries or king sized peanut butter lovers reeses cups!! Those are my absolute favorite. I love reese's peanut butter. But not the one they sell in the jars--that one tastes just like regular peanut butter--pure disappointment. I went in to this gas station today and when I walked in, one lady follow me the soda machine and watched me as I was getting a drink. When I approached the counter 4 ladies was standing around looking at me laughing and talking in their own language and made me felt very uncomfortable. While I am rarely in this neighborhood nor drive a lot, the service inside the "Extra Mile" convenience store is dreadful. The air/water station was the scene of an irate local who exclaimed that "it never works" and the number if pumps that were out if service does not adequately compensate for the convenience of a 24 hour station. read more

Danger to all diabetics who grab a cup of coffee here! Went to grab a large self pour coffee. There are 2 cream dispensers. 1 is for not-sweetened half and half and the other is for this overly sweet syrupy white artificially vanilla flavored goop. You place your paper coffee cup beneath either's spout and push the fill button until you have a desired amount of half and half or the other. I pushed for a 1/5 cup of half and half and walked home 2 blocks. I'm type 2, so I did not add sugar. When I tasted the coffee it was at a perfect temperature for gulping or guzzling it. I often let it cool to be just cool enough for that. After 3 gulps I pulled the cup from my face and spewed what was in my mouth out. It was disgustingly sweet and had that artificial after taste. I dumped the rest of it. The next day, I went to grab another coffee. This time, I pressed the button clearly labeled "half and half" into my empty paper cup for just enough to sample taste it. The one that clearly had the regular half and half label has that syrupy, artificial, vanilla crap in it still. I told the clerk about it. He rolled his eyes, shrugged his shoulders and gave out an almost silent moan. Signaling, (Well, what you want ME to do about it?). I went ahead and poured my coffee without any half and half and placed a lid on it. I repeated telling him of the vanilla crap being in the half and half dispenser, this time with another customer in the store. He still did not care but this time even laughed at me. I was not loud or demanding. I was merely reporting it. So, this time I said, "I'm diabetic. I came here yesterday and this stuff was like this yesterday and I ruined my coffee because of it and had to dump it out after drinking 2 large gulps of it. I'm not asking for a free replacement. I cannot eat sugar and I could've have gone into a coma if I was type 1 diabetic instead of type 2. Someone can get seriously injured if you don't fix this." He just said, "Don't put any in your coffee then." I said, "I won't because I now know. But, yesterday I did not and that is dangerous for any diabetic coming here for coffee. You want me to call the health department and tell them you have a sweetened cream in a dispenser for unsweetend half and half?" He then said, "Go ahead!" This clearly shows that this jerk doesn't care if a diabetic comes through their doors and unknowingly risks his/her life by grabbing a cup of coffee there. This clerk was Philipino, about 50 years of age, wore glasses and had a thick, dark (no gray) mop of black hair. He was thinly built and about 5'-6" tall. I only put in his description so that the owner can identify who I'm pointing out. Up to this day, this clerk was always cordial and polite. I go here for coffee and LOTO tix almost daily. credit card fraud happening here! i stopped in last night to fill up and the attendant handed my ATM card back saying is was declined. Impossible I thought I just used is minutes before. When I check my statement, thee unauthorized transactions were processed at the gas stations for $150.00 each. My card # had been stolen!!! When I called to alert them they said Manager is out until Monday, and I never herd back from them. Thankfully B of A handled it. But be aware & pay with cash if you can. read more

You will not have access to those funds for at least 4 business days. This happened to me on Saturday, August 13, 2011. I purchased $23.19 of gasoline. This station charged the amount of my purchase ($23.19) to my account PLUS another $126.00 pre-authorization amount. So....the reason we spent an hour here, sitting in the car is because we were waiting for my friend to get back to SF and we were in desperate need of a bathroom and couldn't wait an hour. Up comes Chevron on our GPS, so we ended up hanging out here for an hour. hahaha I have to agree with fellow yelper Derek N. Chevron was the perfect stop for us two girls. I've been coming here because it's clean, near my work, well stocked, and easy to access pumps (there are lots of them!). This week, though, when I used my only credit card, this station (pump) didn't ask for my zip code. I'm very careful about security, and because the Chevron near my home does ask for my zip code, I'll go to that one instead. When I inquired about the change in asking for zip code and my concern about safety, I was told by the attendant inside that the station is very safe (instead of getting an explanation of the change or an acknowledgment that my concern might be justified). read more

Management appears to me very attentive to details. This station is extremely clean. The mini-mart is large and well-stocked, comparable to a 7-11. The staff all smile and welcome their customers - very impressive customer service, all looking sharp and in uniform, old school Filipino hospitality. Primo location and reasonable prices. GREAT coffee. Bring your car mug. $.99 for refill of premium java. Marivic.has a $1M smile and angelic singing voice! She's the main attraction. read more

As consumers we can't do much about the price of gas. What we can do is buy it from places like this! It is always clean and the staff are unbelievably nice. Their shelves aren't always stocked but at least what they do have is fresh and not from the 70's (like most gas station shops). I bought gas yesterday, Jan. 7, 2012, at this station $20.05 usng my debit card. When I checked my bank transactions online, I found out that they have charged my card another $126.00. I called my bank, and they told me that chevron has been doing this, and the $126 is expected to be dropped off from the transactions in about 7 days. If they don't, me & my bank will of course dispute it. Chevron has no right to do this to my personal account for whatever reason they have. From now on, I will buy gas somewhere else. read more

Pick me up Cab started out as a great cab company they were inexpensive and very Hospitable then they Rager rates from $6to seven dollars and then $100 I want spent 40 minutes in the back of the cab Wollard cab driver picked up and delivered other passengers the last time I use them I had to wait 45 minutes in the hot sun!
