I love the sign that says something like CASH KEEPS GAS PRICES LOW. I love it because I refuse to be guilt-tripped into paying with cash, so I always pay with a credit card. If the place is really that concerned about the credit-card fees, it should charge less per gallon for people paying with cash. The guys here are usually really quick (no longer than 30 minutes) but I usually come in the mornings so I can't speak for later in the day. Today I actually had 3 other cars in front of me but it still didn't take more than 30 mins. I really appreciate the guy running the smog checks today. He was hustling, running back and fourth when he really don't need to but it's awesome to see him taking his job seriously and wanting to get customers in and out to go about their days. As soon as a customer pulls up, he grabbed a clipboard and ran over to them. When customers were on their phones while sitting in the waiting area, the employee came over to let them know it's ready instead of yelling out their names. Just little things to made it a pleasant experience. Taraval also has a few coffee shops in the area so you could also go hang out somewhere and check back in later!
