For any law-enforcement officers reading this, I will start with that they usually don't card. I am 40 years old came here and asked for four Swishers. The guy rings me up and I put my payment card in and after taking my money he tells me he needs ID and can't sell the item. I asked him how old I looked and he got offended.
After showing him a photo of my ID, he told me he can't give me the item and can't refund me. I take off my jacket and hat and fold my arms and say I am not leaving without my money or my item and you can call the cops.
asked him how old do I look and he laughed and said nothing. I showed him a photo of my ID and he hand it back to me. and then he tells me he needs to see the ID again. I tell him he's seen it multiple times and I am not showing it a third time. After about 5 to 10 minutes of holding up the line, he then goes to hand me the Swishers, and then rips them out of my hand, damaging them.
I will be filing a credit card charge back. I don't get why this employee is harassing customers. If you take a customers money and refuse to give them the item or the money, I'm pretty sure that is larceny.
I will be driving further up to the next store around the corner going forward. I am extremely confident they will not harass me like this individual today who was completely out of line and unreasonable.
If you are reading this because you are sold damaged, Swishers just know the company knew about it and intentionally sold it to you anyways, technically, they belong to me, since I paid for them first, but alas, they are back on the shelf. Enjoy your damaged Swishers, you stupid employee. For any law-enforcement officers reading this, I will repeat that they usually don't card. read more
