I went inside to grab a few drinks while my son pumped his gas and it is small inside. There are signs advising that the restrooms are for customers only and they are serious about it. A young man was buying a soda so he could use the facilities, so I waited until my son came inside and let him grab a drink as well because I knew he needed to go. I really hate that. Like, just because we bought $50 in gas and another $20 in drinks and snacks that makes us worthy of the bathroom? Let people go to the bathroom! I understand that businesses are allowed their policies, I just find it plutocratic, exploitative and demeaning. Or their are people who know the value of a nickel. So they appreciate the 5 cent cheaper per gallon Royal usually offers for the same grad e of gas. If you pay cash, all the better, as it will be cheaper again. But don't use a debit card. They charge $0.50 for that privilege, so you won;t realize any savings until your 11th gallon. $60 tanks of gas means no more latte's at the Starbuck's next door.

She then stated if I don't leave within five minutes she will call the Walnut Creek Police. I informed her that my vehicle is inoperable and I am awaiting a tow truck arrival and the time of arrival is out of my hands. She repeatedly stated that she would call the Walnut Creek Police as she's only giving me twenty minutes more. My response was: " Call the police!" I have three receipts showing that I am a customer who made multiple store purchases. I then asked her: " what if you were stranded with an inoperable car, or better yet, what if your mother, father or other loved one were stranded, would you be ok if the situation were reversed?" She was an East African female who then walked away! I am in total disbelief that she would even make such a threat to me, especially since I am a Black American male stranded here in Walnut Creek, California as it's approaching 7:15pm!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Suggestions: please have compassion and understanding for a customer whose vehicle is inoperable.
