Over the years Chesterfield Auto Parts has been a Blessing for me and many people that know I will…read moredo my best to help them keep their vehicles on the road in the insanely overpriced Auto Repair World! On July 31st of this year an elderly friend of mine needed a tail lamp repair for State Inspection. I found a defective socket and called around to all of the part stores with no luck. Called the Dealership next and a lamp socket was available... When you purchase the complete lamp assembly for $417.00! Checked the inventory for CAP and located two possible vehicles at the Genito location. Made my way to the Genito yard and was checked in by Steve. He was very pleasant to deal with when he instructed me where to find the two vehicles that may get my friend out of the bind She was in... And again Chesterfield Auto Parts saved the day! Found exactly what I was looking for. Thanked The Lord and headed to check out... I went back to see Steve and he tallied up what I had for purchase and it was just a few dollars! Exactly what I was hoping for! So I reached for my wallet and it was Missing!!! My world fell apart real quick and Steve handed me my wallet... I left it laying there at check in and Thankfully Steve saw it....... Wasn't much cash in it but there was other things that would have been Stressful to replace including credit cards! I Still Can't Thank This Man Enough! Without saying... If Steve hadn't noticed what I had done, not only would I have let my friend down I wouldn't have had enough gas to get Home! I want Management to know that I'm greatful for all of the things that Chesterfield Auto Parts has made possible over the years and I'm especially greatful for your Employees that show Integrity when they show up for work! Great Job Steve, Keep Up The Good Work And I Will Keep Coming Back! Thomas G.....

I stopped by to get help (by Home Depot's recommendation) in finding the right clip for my bumper…read more I didn't know the type of clip I needed, so I asked the gentleman behind the counter for help. He proceeded to ask me what kind of clip I needed. I told him I didn't know. Then he said he couldn't help me until I knew what I needed. I wasn't allowed to try any on my bumper piece that I brought in either. He said I'd have to buy the clips, then I wasn't allowed to return them if they didn't fit. He was very rude with the way he talked to me. I went down the street to Advanced Auto Parts and the guy helped me, even opened up packages to try different clips to see what would fit. I do not recommend this Napa store due to the unhelpful nature of their associates.

(I had discovered it was low when my transmission started to slip.) My regular mechanic said he was backed up for days, so I was on my own. His encyclopedic knowledge of cars was impressive, as well as his enthusiasm for problem solving. He quickly figured out the best way to address the issue without getting transmission fluid all over the place. Because I'm a Realtor, I was very grateful to have my car back up to speed so quickly. We had the hitch, but not the necessary lighting required for a trailer rental. Although we had an appointment to install the lighting at a Richmond location of the trailer rental company--at considerable cost-- while stopping to visit friends, we were told the kit was not available and could not be located at any other store along the 95 corridor at this venue, but we would most likely get lucky if we made various stops at their locations along the way. We called Southside Hitch the next morning, hoping that they would be able to help, but figured we would pay for our lack of planning. We were told to come on out, they were sure they could accommodate us! And they did! Within 30 minutes, we had a lighting kit installed at a fraction of the cost of the quote from the trailer rental company. It has taken me awhile, but I just want to thank Southside Hitch for being such an honest, reputable, and helpful company. We are so happy we called you! Thank you so very much!
