I went into the store to return to return $21 of items (2 small wall shelves and a pack of craft…read morepaint brushes). I missed their 30 day return policy by 1 day. I explained that my husband had fallen and was hospitalized and asked if they could override to return so I didn't have to get a merchandise credit. I was told no by the manager Carolyn when I know that is just not true. The cash wrap where I was doing my return ran out of gift cards so the cashier had the nerve to ask me if I could go to another register to get her a gift card so she could process the return. Absolutely not! I have had issues with Ray being rude as well. I will take my money elsewhere. Oh, and let me tell you about the night I saw a rat running around in the area between the 2 sets of doors. Obviously this place is dirty if rats are inside! Management is rude and has no compassion for others hard times!

The store had lots and lots of sales more so for those that wear sizes small and medium and sizes 0 to size 10. While they did have a few sales in the plus sizes the deals were definitely in the misses section but definitely if you are in the area stop by. Men if you are shopping for your woman you should definitely surprise her or that fine someone with something cute without harming your pockets. Ladies you're destined find something that you like and perhaps something you wouldn't mind picking up for a friend because the deals are fantastic. I only shop the sale racks. Yes racks...plural!! On occasion I may shop for regular priced items. But even still the store is worth a visit to see it all from shoes to jewelry. It's kind of a Hidden Gem...it's not off the main street so you definitely have to be looking for it to see it because it's in the cut. Not off a busy street nor in a heavy populated shopping center. This store isn't crowded at all. I like this location…read more.. While this isn't my go to location, this is one of my favorite locations. This store seems to carry items that most Dollar Tree's do not. Perhaps the selection is better, larger store, I am not sure, but I love it here! Great finds every single time! A bag of now & later candy (5 packs) only $1 and you get like 20 in a bag, talk about a steal! Granted, it's been a few months and I haven't seen the bag in here lately. The only downside, if it's a major holiday such as, Valentines Day, the balloons may run out, but rest assure this store pretty much keeps items in stock and the store is very tidy. The lines move smoothly on any given day. The parking doesn't tend to be an issue, but be careful crossing the street to get to the store, it's a very busy parking lot. Alongside this store, you will find, Roses, eateries nearby include: KFC, McDonald's and cannot forget about 7-eleven. If you are in the area, give this store a second look. Every now and then they'll have a few clearance items in each department ranging from $3 to $10. I've been lucky a few times to find a wide brim hat for only $5, a purse under $10 and clothes for my 10 year old that she loves. The associates are helpful even though they seem to always be stocking and rearranging the store when I visit. I've noticed they also sell shoes for girls and ladies along with accessories such as: jewelry, belts, and handbags. This store is usually quiet, but the traffic is steady in the area. The store is in a shopping center off of George Washington Hwy and Victory Blvd. The shopping area includes: Food Lion, Ollies, Little Cesears and a few other shops. If you're looking for current fashion trends at low costs give this store a try. The few times I've visited I've always left happier. But keep in mind their plus size items are not true to size as this may be the same for other departments as well. The store isn't overwhelming to navigate through considering how much stuff is there. I believe the items are all reasonably priced, but regardless it does feel goof to support a local business and local creators. I don't think I ever left empty handed, there's such a variety of items to choose from. If you're in the Ghent area I highly recommend stopping by, especially if you're shopping for the holidays!

I said all that to say...when in doubt check out Roses. They sell lingerie, toys, furniture, household items, clothes...everything. Some of the items are cheesy...but depending on your taste, you just might love it here. The lines are not long, again the store is crowded (space), but it doesn't see a lot of traffic so take your time to browse.
