He was quickly informed over the phone that they take our insurance and the staff gave him quotes for initial X-rays, eval, and cleaning for my mom without dental insurance. The hygienist was thorough and my hubby kept commenting how his teeth felt squeaky clean and smooth for over a week! He took his old, cracked night guard for a replacement. Dr. Cho was very professional and informative in explaining the cause of the crack and recommended an affordable guard and the right thickness that'll protect his teeth. Dr. Cho also kindly taught my hubby how to safely brush his teeth to further prevent gum recession. After my husband's exemplary experience, my mom and I went in for our appt. We scheduled back to back to take turns watching my 15 month old toddler in the waiting area. We arrived early and Dr. Cho greeted us and saw my mom earlier than her appt time. My mom hasn't seen a dentist since my dad passed away 4 years ago, so she was scared. Dr. Cho's chair-side manners were superb which kept her very calm and even enthusiastic about further taking care of her teeth- she needs crowns. Dr. Cho conservatively recommended the work she needs done and before we left the office the front staff gave us quotes for her next visit. As a 7 month old pregnant mom with a toddler, I can say this office is very family friendly. Dr. Cho ordered minimal x-rays to address my worries of cavities and the staff took extra caution when taking the x-rays. The eval and cleaning was thorough and quick so laying on my back wasn't uncomfortable. There was a cute corner for my toddler to play and lots of space to walk around to enjoy her stay at the dental office while grandma's and Mom's teeth were being taken care of by Dr. Cho and his awesome staff. Now that she's familiar with the office and friendly staff, we decided to schedule our daughter's first dental appt, too. We already appreciate our new family dentist very much!

Riverside Dental - These people are the biggest crooks I have ever dealt with…read more If you have a cavity they will tell you that you need white fillings at over $100 each, but not inform you that metal fillings can be used which insurance covers. When I got a root canal, they did not protect my tooth which broke within 2 weeks. They refused to extract the tooth without charging, although their negligence caused the damage. When I went in with the broken tooth, the dentist looked at it for 2 minutes and told me to come back tomorrow because they could not fit in their schedule the work that might be done. The next day they tried to charge me 170 dollars for the post core, which the dentist had said may not be able to be done due to the break. The dentist took 5 minutes to remove the broken tooth, then advised I have in extracted. I asked if I owed any money for the removal and was told no. Later when I requested my records (which were at a charge) they said I owed ten dollars for two copays. The reason it was two was because the dentist did not remove the broken tooth, despite it taking 5 minutes and made me come back. When I went to pay they refused to accept the coins I brought in. They are pure con artists and you would be better off going to veterinarian, or butcher because that is what they are.

Everything was standard, fast check-in, nice people. However, my "case" is special because I have had braces for the last 4 months (got at a dentist where I moved from) and I was hoping Dr. Saccoh would continue my treatment for the remaining 4 months. My visit was only a consultation so it just consisted of a few questions and look inside my mouth. Now, the issue comes with the price. I was quoted MORE than the original price from the dentist where I moved from.. Yes, 20% OVER the original price. I knew that it wouldn't be cheap, but since I had already had my braces installed and am half way through my treatment, shouldn't I get at least some discount? I pressed lightly upon leaving that I was paying out of pocket, no insurance and can pay all up front but no budging from the high price. I decided to try my luck by going to 2 more dentists that are almost 45 minutes away. I was quoted ~50% and ~60% less than Dr. Saccoh at these other two dentists after having those consultations. I then called Dr. Saccoh's office back a week later and asked if there may be a misunderstanding about the price and the snarky response of "the price is what it is" was my final turnoff. I explained that 2 other area dentists gave me at least SOME discount off of FULL PRICE since I am halfway through my treatment but they did not seem to want my business.

He has a nice practice in convenient Bel Air, just off of Route 24 near Bertucci's. I chose to go from Baltimore to Bel Air when I needed a new crown for an old rear molar. Dr. Dan expertly performed the mold, the temporary, and the permanent. His lab was timely, his instrumentation and use of technology were great. Even in the middle of a pandemic, he was able to accommodate my emergency visit. His office was clean and his staff, Amanda and Christine (at front desk), were kind, courteous, and professional. I was able to get my teeth cleaned and my mouth feels and looks great - no more tartar and buildup. Thanks Dr. Dan for improving my smile!
