The result was a dark, dull tooth that I saw in every photo. I met with several dentists about it over the years but they either wanted to do more work than I was comfortable with, it was too pricey for me at the time, or their front desk staff were less than easy to work with. I was referred to this practice by an orthodontist. She said this office is where she sent all of her patients for that final aesthetic touch-up after long courses of braces or Invisalign. She showed me some before and after photos, and I contacted this office for a consultation. They were able to schedule me via email which was extremely convenient. After a thorough consultation and discussion of my problem and possible solutions, I was offered a clear rate sheet outlining the cost of the procedures. It's not cheap, but as the old adage goes, you get what you pay for. I'm happy to say that although the cost is high, the level of service and professionalism is as well. Dr. Dancykier encouraged me to be honest with him throughout the process, and when I decided that my temporary veneers were too long, it was easy to schedule an adjustment and re-mold so that the final results were perfect. Not once was I treated like a nuisance for asking questions or wanting changes made, which can be the case in a lot of other medical or dental settings. After getting my temporaries and final veneers, Dr. Dancykier contacted me to make sure I was happy with them, which I really appreciated. I may go back for one small adjustment, and it's nice to know that I can do that easily at this practice. Also, every single appointment I had here began on time, which was a nice added bonus on top of everything else.

Their techniques and machinery are state-of-the-art and they even have cable-tv so you can watch while you're in the chair! I have been for the sedation dentistry, regular cleanings and ZOOM! teeth whitening and I now can say I am totally comfortable with going to dentist! I love the way my teeth look and feel and I really like everyone that works there. They also are going to help my fiance out with a mouth-guard to help with sleep-apnea in the near future. However, four days post op I was experiencing a significant amount of pain in my lower right extraction site (way worse than the other three) and so I decided to schedule an emergency appointment, as I was worried it could be a dry socket. I met with him at the Towson location for this appointment, and immediately could tell he was having a busy day and was not in the mood to deal with my issue. He had a very condescending tone and demeanor throughout the appointment, and when I expressed my concerns I felt like I was constantly talked over. He expected me to have the knowledge of an oral surgeon when I very much am not, and he barely looked inside my mouth to check on the state of the incisions. I explained that his tone felt condescending and he was exasperated. I then asked to leave and he went to a colleague and said "she called me condescending!" (this was verified to me by another colleague at the practice). I left and then decided to return with my mother present, and my mother was able to experience his lack of bedside manner first hand. He was rude to my mother, so much so that even she had to say something to him about it. I have never felt more disrespected by a medical professional in my life. This was my first experience undergoing surgery and I am now scared to have any more procedures done due to fear of having a doctor that doesn't care for my pain or concerns.

I have always had a fear of dentist because of past experiences which were very painful. I researched top dentist in Maryland and I came across Dr. Kuzmak, Towson View Dental Care and decided to give them a call and make an appointment. I was very nervous about the visit because I had two broken teeth with only the roots left in my gums. Upon my arrival I was meant by a warm and welcoming staff. Dr. Kuzmack himself came out to the waiting area to greet me and to offer me a bottle of water. That definitely helped take the edge off. He explained everything to me before he began the procedure. I always brace myself for the initial needle stick and deep burning that follows from the Novocaine... However to my surprise Dr. Kuzmack pulls out a device that he uses in conjunction with the needles that massages your gums during injection which helped to alleviate any pain! I was totally taken back that I did not feel ANY pain the entire procedure. No pain from the needle or the root extraction. Their front desk people were very difficult to work with from the beginning; they just weren't providing all the information I needed in order to schedule my kids' appointments. I kept having to call back and when I provided more information, more was asked of me. Finally I scheduled my appointments and waited 6 MONTHS. The day before my appointment, I got a call telling me that my insurance was not covered and that I had to cancel all my appointments. Long story short, it was an error by the front desk person, but it was difficult to deal with on such a short notice. The office manager, Kim, turned the whole thing around, and it is because of her, and the good service I received for my 3 kids the next day, that I am giving this place a higher star rating. I honestly hope they figure this out and that I can come back in 6 months and provide a better rating. Dr. Swauger and the dental hygienist were EXCELLENT with the kids.
