[[HIGHLIGHT]]This place feels like your going home for a meal.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]Maybe it's cause it's an old house and the setup shows, or the friendly service but either way, everytime I go I enjoy my time!![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I love the people but my favorite go to dish is the waffle with fruit. YUMMY. It's always consistent! You won't be disappointed when you stop in for a meal.

[[HIGHLIGHT]]This cafe looks like a house on the outside but they've turned it into the most precious pie shop and cafe![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]The outside has several different seating options, there's a sunroom with a bench and small table in an entryway, and lots of vintage looking tables and chairs throughout the inside.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The cookies are super fluffy and soft, my latte was sweet and perfect, and my friend's gluten-free pie (TRULY gluten-free for her celiac needs) and very delicious! The family who owns it and works there are all so very sweet and obviously put care into their work and food!

[[HIGHLIGHT]]Cute place but not attentive at all.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I mentioned the coffee was out and they didn't bother to make more. We were served breakfast without forks or napkins. After we asked they came back with napkins and forks but not for everyone. Ran out of normal flour tortillas so one of us had to have a gluten free tortilla. They did not like the taste. I was done with my first cup of coffee and they were out so I asked again and they went in back and made some. They do not have the cream out at the coffee bar so you have to ask for it. Not sure if this is a family business but there is an opportunity for a little training. This is my second visit. Kind of the same on the first visit. They are nice here but just not focused.

What a fanastic place! A great addition to Decatur! This bakery has an excellent selection of pastries including Scottish & British Scones. For those who do not know, Scottish Scones are close to thumbprint cookies (see pics), British scones are the triangle shape you are more familiar with! They also occasionally offer breakfast. They sometimes have breakfast burritos and quiche. They were out when we were there. They Do have an incredible Avocado toast, but the bread could be much crispier with that much fat and liquid. The Belgian Waffle was excellent as well. 4 STARS

Amazing new sandwich and pie shop housed in a quaint old Tudor style home with wood floors and shiplap walls. 2-3 sets of tables, which can be reserved, occupy each room of the house along with porch and shaded patio seating. We tried each entree on the small menu enjoying beautiful fresh salads, turkey and roast beef sandwiches with lots of meat, and top notch chicken salad. Order your cherry pie first --we got the last 3 pieces and so a lady at the table next to us bought one from us! Congratulations to the kind owner, who will most definitely have a thriving business in Decatur, TX.

    Outside seating

What a nice peaceful little breakfast/lunch spot! While a somewhat limited menu, there is something for every appetite. The baked goods sell out fast! While there wasn't any seating inside at the time we arrived, seating was offered outside in the shady park like setting. We were the only ones outside and it was perfect! Hidden gem of a restaurant among all the chains in Decatur! Highly recommend!

If I could give this place 6 stars I would! [[HIGHLIGHT]]Everything was wonderful from the food to the presentation to the service and the charming old home; everything was perfect.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The apple pie was delicious!! When I asked the girl behind the counter about it she said "my grandmother makes this fresh everyday". The pie was like a hug! Tip: ask for it to be warmed up. The breakfast tacos were incredible and the tortillas (also homemade) are so good. The girls behind the counter were so sweet and kind. Definitely recommend and can't wait to go back!

The service was fine but my group and I didn't enjoy the food. Pretty sad we were so excited about this place.

Service was great. Food and coffee were awesome too. We also had a bunch of cookies to go and they were all very tasty.

All of their selections are very good and very fresh and you have to come by frequently to see what is rotating in and out - like seasonal baked items depending on the holidays. Lots to choose from - it's almost impossible for me to choose and keep from buying more than my family will eat. Great customer service, great quality and the prices are so good. Why aren't there more bakeries like Lucy's in North Texas?! Regarding my 21 years here, I lived in Allen for most of that time and there are a couple grocery stores over there but their selections were woefully lacking compared with what Lucy's offers - also they weren't as fresh. Lucy's is what's up.

I'll try a new bakery now and then, in search of a good place close to me. I'm very picky on the flavors of the bakery's breads and such. I'll usually try a new bakery at least once. If it doesn't grab me the first time, I'll move on. It was really good. The concha's have a little flavor, they could use just a little bit more anise, but not enough to keep me from buying them. The empanadas were fantastic! I love Gallinas, but this place didn't have them, maybe next time. This will be my permanent bakery, unless I move out of this area.
