This cafe looks like a house on the outside but they've turned it into the most precious pie shop and cafe! The outside has several different seating options, there's a sunroom with a bench and small table in an entryway, and lots of vintage looking tables and chairs throughout the inside. The cookies are super fluffy and soft, my latte was sweet and perfect, and my friend's gluten-free pie (TRULY gluten-free for her celiac needs) and very delicious! The family who owns it and works there are all so very sweet and obviously put care into their work and food!

Cute place but not attentive at all. I mentioned the coffee was out and they didn't bother to make more. We were served breakfast without forks or napkins. After we asked they came back with napkins and forks but not for everyone. Ran out of normal flour tortillas so one of us had to have a gluten free tortilla. They did not like the taste. I was done with my first cup of coffee and they were out so I asked again and they went in back and made some. They do not have the cream out at the coffee bar so you have to ask for it. Not sure if this is a family business but there is an opportunity for a little training. This is my second visit. Kind of the same on the first visit. They are nice here but just not focused.

What a cute place! The service was impeccable the food was very tasty! So nice having this quaint little place in town. We had a girls lunch outside in the garden area and truly enjoyed it! We will be back again and again!

What a fanastic place! A great addition to Decatur! This bakery has an excellent selection of pastries including Scottish & British Scones. For those who do not know, Scottish Scones are close to thumbprint cookies (see pics), British scones are the triangle shape you are more familiar with! They also occasionally offer breakfast. They sometimes have breakfast burritos and quiche. They were out when we were there. They Do have an incredible Avocado toast, but the bread could be much crispier with that much fat and liquid. The Belgian Waffle was excellent as well. 4 STARS

The meal we had was amazing. As you can see we all went a different direction and all you served an amazing meal for 40$. All organic is HUGE will be back! First time guest very happy! Such a cozy place to eat and service was fast.

Amazing new sandwich and pie shop housed in a quaint old Tudor style home with wood floors and shiplap walls. 2-3 sets of tables, which can be reserved, occupy each room of the house along with porch and shaded patio seating. We tried each entree on the small menu enjoying beautiful fresh salads, turkey and roast beef sandwiches with lots of meat, and top notch chicken salad. Order your cherry pie first --we got the last 3 pieces and so a lady at the table next to us bought one from us! Congratulations to the kind owner, who will most definitely have a thriving business in Decatur, TX.

What a nice peaceful little breakfast/lunch spot! While a somewhat limited menu, there is something for every appetite. The baked goods sell out fast! While there wasn't any seating inside at the time we arrived, seating was offered outside in the shady park like setting. We were the only ones outside and it was perfect! Hidden gem of a restaurant among all the chains in Decatur! Highly recommend!

If I could give this place 6 stars I would! Everything was wonderful from the food to the presentation to the service and the charming old home; everything was perfect. The apple pie was delicious!! When I asked the girl behind the counter about it she said "my grandmother makes this fresh everyday". The pie was like a hug! Tip: ask for it to be warmed up. The breakfast tacos were incredible and the tortillas (also homemade) are so good. The girls behind the counter were so sweet and kind. Definitely recommend and can't wait to go back!

The service was fine but my group and I didn't enjoy the food. Pretty sad we were so excited about this place.

Service was great. Food and coffee were awesome too. We also had a bunch of cookies to go and they were all very tasty.

Again this place is clean & neat despite the breakfast crowd. Our server was friendly and prompt with coffee and water. Today we ordered the Ryan's omelet and chicken fried steak. The omelette serving is big! Very generous amounts of ingredients and chunky size too! Love it! The chicken fried steak is huge! I think it's more a sharing size but if you're hungry, it's perfect for you. I'm pretty sure there'll be leftover.

Not a lot of "atmosphere" per se. Drinks were ordered and delivered promptly. Breakfast order took a minute; there seemed to be some confusion over which server was taking our table. BIL ordered one of the local breakfasts with all the usual: eggs, grits, toast, bacon. I opted for the veggie omelet with home fries and toast. Order took no time to be delivered. BIL finished his, and mine was the perfect portion. I hate having leftovers but this was not an overstuffed omelet, so I made short work of it. Home fries were a bit bland, but veggies in omelet were just right. Getting out of here was a challenge. Once food was delivered, we were able to watch servers talking while our drinks ran dry, and getting the check took a minute. It was good, reasonably priced and no leftovers gives it the 4-stars instead of 3, but once I'm done with breakfast, I have things to do, so no 5-stars on this one. I'm going to skip this on my next trip to Texas.

The problems in this store are from the bottom employee to the management. 1. Its dirty. Dirty floors, tables not cleaned, stacked dirty dishes. 2. Staff is lazy. If youve got time to lean against the counter at the pass and send text or Facebook or whatever it is, y'all are doing. Then you've got plenty of time to go out there and wipe the nasty tables off or to clean the floors or to do the dishes. 3. Cooks are too busy screwing around to get orders out in a timely manner. Food comes out cold because cooks don't prepare an order properly. Eggs shouldn't be sitting up on the pass while you're busy trying to cook the bacon or sausage or pancakes that are supposed to go with them. By the time whatever else it is, is ready to go, the eggs are stone cold. And most definitely do not stack plates with food on them on top of each other. 4. Managers. The managers in this restaurant have I don't give a sh!t attitudes. They'll have every excuse in the book as to why the restaurant is run so badly and it's always somebody else's fault. They will lie straight to your face to cover their own ass and get you to leave them alone. If you want a good IHOP experience, I would suggest bypassing this one and going to find another one because this one is not gonna change. The problem here are ongoing and nobody seems to want to do anything about any of it
