With Yogurtland as the standard of frozen yogurt, this place definitely fell short in my opinion. Everything was good except for the taste of the flavors. I tried all the flavors they offered, but instead of being in the dilemma of deciding on a flavor I liked (since I don't like mixing more than 2 flavors), I was caught in the dilemma of choosing the flavor that I didn't like the least. The dole whip and the euro tart were the flavors I chose. The vanilla really fell short here. It was nice and creamy, but it tasted more like frozen sweet milk than actual vanilla. I know the vanilla extract and bean prices are skyrocket high right now, but at least put more imitation vanilla extract in the mix. The topping options were plentiful and clean and the service was friendly. I personally wouldn't drive all the way here from the UCR campus to come here, but for kids who can't tell the difference, definitely bring them over here - they'll love it!! read more

This place is great! I have tried others, but this is by far my favorite. First, they have about a dozen flavors from fruity to chocolaty all with about 100 calories per serving. Top it off yourself with fresh fruit, sweets, and all kinds of chocolate chips and syrups. You pay by weight, so you can control how cheap or expensive you want it to be. The store is super clean and the staff is friendly. The decor is super fun with funky light fixtures, futuristic chairs, and lots of stainless steel. Misleading signage...Sign on their window advertising says 20% off of purchase if you follow them on ig then after you walk in it says 15% off of purchase following the same conditions. Had to ask cashier which was the one they were actually honoring. They only honored the 15% -_-. Noticed a lot of the machines were down. I liked the fact that it was a dual set up topping station meaning that you could grab toppings on each side of the island but what was really inconvenient was that none of it was labeled. Literally the only thing labeled was the types of nuts...If you're going to label you may as well create a label for everything, that way you dont have to keep on bugging the employees. The original tart tasted watered down so that was a bust. Cravings were definitely NOT satisfied. Will not be returning. read more

This Cherry On Top does not have the charm of the first one I visited in Pasadena. That probably has a lot more to do with the beautiful location of that one. This Cherry On Top is located in a shopping plaza and sits next to a Panera Bread. This self-served fro-yo place had a lot of flavors and a huge toppings bar. For flavors, I went with the chocolate, vanilla and peanut butter. All flavors were fine. The peanut butter was the tastiest of the three. The chocolate was much milder than the very rich chocolate at Pinkberry. The fro-yo had a nice creamy consistency. My fro-yo palate is not refined as Lolia S. so I may be missing some of the subtleties when it comes to fro-yo quality. Check out her fro-yo Yelps. They are quite informative. For toppings, I went with Cap 'N' Crunch, Cocoa Pebbles, multi-colored candy coated chocolate pieces, chopped peanuts, butterscotch sauce, and sticky marshmallow creme. I liked the toppings. The cereal and the marshmallow creme stood out as the best for me. They had many other toppings available. It was pretty affordable--less than $2.50--and the service was good. I'm not a fan of tart flavors, but for the sweet flavors and toppings, this is a pretty decent option if you are in the area. read more

I throw up quite often (motion sickness, over alcohol indulgence, eating too many cheeseburgers), I can safely proclaim myself a Vomit Connoisseur, so please believe when I say... the cheesecake yogurt tastes like vomit. It's like soured, putrid milk coagulated into frozen yogurt form to then be dispensed to paying customers. It was really really terrible. The other flavors weren't that bad, the plain was actually pretty good, but I had been too greedy with the Cheesecake and it had managed to successfully infiltrate and taint the other flavors in my cup with the tinge of rotten dairy. The strawberries need a sugar bath, and the bananas should be fully ripened before serving. I think I'll be fine if I just stick to the Plain with canned peach and pineapple topping. read more

We have been here a few times. This place has an interior that looks like you are in a space station. You select a cup size, then poor your yogurt, select your toppings, weigh it at the cash register, and then pay for it. This store just doesn't seem as clean as when we first started coming here. For instance the counter we sat at had. dirt trapped between the seams of the table. The floor has little rocks glued together. It is not suitable for a food establishment because spilled food gets tapped in it and it is impossible to chean. The yogurt machines also needed to be cleaned. read more

This place has the cheapest yogurt I've had in riverside. I went with my boyfriend and his friend who was visiting from out of town and it was $4 for everything we got (my boyfriend and I shared, but still, good deal!). The downside is that they have a sparse yogurt selection, but the topping buffet is drool-worthy. They have a huge selection and I like that the toppings are in the middle of the room. While the tart flavors seem a little off to me (maybe I'm just being a Pinkberry snob), the cake batter, plain and vanilla are quite good. I've been to this location several times and the two things keeping me from giving it four stars are the fruit in the toppings area and the cashiers. The fruit typically seems not quite ripe enough, but they keep it cold and present it nicely. They have a great variety of sweet toppings from candies to sugar cereals (I favor the nonpareils, otherwise known as Snowcaps). The second thing is the cashiers. Six out of 10 times they are pleasant, greet you when you walk in and are very friendly. The other times, they seem annoyed at my presence and barely speak as I pay for my yogurt.
